SEVERAL major supermarkets have urgently recalled a host of products after discovering a range of problems with them.

Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Lidl and Waitrose have all been offering the items below - including Walkers crisps

The supermarkets discovered problems with the items which may mean they are a health risk.

Customers are being told to return the items for a full refund, Devon Live reports.

These are the products that have the recall out on them:

Walkers - Sensations Thai Sweet Chilli Potato Crisps
The popular crisps could cause a health issue for anyone allergic to wheat.

Although it is listed on the back of the packet it has not been highlighted in bold to indicate that it is an allergen.

If you have purchased one of the affected packs you can call the Walkers Consumer Care Line on 0800 274 777 to receive a full refund.

The affected batches are the 73 gram "Only ÂŁ1 RRP" marked pack and the 40 gram packs.

They have best-before dates before and including 29/01/19.

Packs with a best before date of 02/02/19 and after are not affected.

Slimfast - Advanced Vitality Strawberry and Blueberry Burst
The product is being recalled due to an undeclared milk protein being used in the vegan meal replacement shake.

Supermarkets who are carrying the affected stock include Sainsbury's, Asda, Amazon, Tesco and Tesco Ireland.

Customers are urged to not consume the product and take it back to the store for a full refund. A receipt is not required.

The affected products are the 450 gram meal replacement power shake with the codes:

8291 BBE October 2019
8292 BBE October 2019
8293 BBE October 2019
8294 BBE October 2019

Warren & Sons Pâtés
Three varieties of Warren & Sons Pâté is being recalled by Lidl due to incorrect or missing use-by dates on the labels.

This means they could be eaten beyond their use-by date without anyone knowing they are not safe to consume.

The affected pates are Warren & Sons Brussels Pâté, Warren & Sons Ardennes Pâté, Warren & Sons Reduced Fat Brussels Pâté.

These pâtés are the 175 gram packs with a use by date of December 25 2019 or no date at all.

Customers can return them to the store where it was bought for a full refund.

Clive's Bombay Vegetables with Daal Tart
Clive's is recalling its chilled and frozen versions of the meal because they contain mustard and sesame which are not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a health risk for people with mustard or sesame allergies.

Customers who have one of these allergies are advised to take it back to the store where they bought it for a full refund.

The product is currently sold on online supermarket Ocado

The affected chilled Clive's Bombay Vegetables with Daal Tart are the 190 gram packs with a use-by date up to and including November 24 2018.

And the affected frozen Clive's Bombay Vegetables with Daal Tart are the 190 gram packs with a use-by date up to and including May 24 2019.

Gardiners of Scotland Macaron Bars
This product could be a health risk for anyone allergic to soya but is safe for anyone without the allergy to consume.

The box lists E322 in bold as an allergen but does not identify it as soya.

Anyone who has bought the macaron bars and has a soya allergy can return the packs to the store where they bought it for a refund.Alternatively they can send it back directly to Gardiners of Scotland Ltd, Turfholm Industrial Estate, Lesmahagow, ML11 0ED and receive a full refund.
