when you got 1TB you can download alot, thats why i never delete anything.
little offtopic but: if you gonna buy a 1TB hdd, you should buy Lacie.
i got that and very pleased with it. Something was wrong with the adapter for electricity and they sent two new ones actually :)
and now its perfect working.
Thanks, I will look into it ;)

I am 14, loads of spare time. If I am not hanging out with my friends I am on the computer a little too much. I would have to say 10 or more :)
-
If they aren't that good I usually just trash them and if they are good I usually burn them onto a DVD and give em to friends and to keep for myself of course :P
-
It varies, if I don't like what I have downloaded I usually delete it. I would say on average though 1- 2 Gigabytes. I think I am going to buy an external 1TB HD and then put just Torrents and stuff on it ;)
-
Just want to know :)
For me, 7 hours (working) + about 1-2 hours (spare time) from mon to fri
On sat and sun, often 2-5 hours.
a little long, I think.
How about you?
-
I keep the movies on a DVD which i liked ;).... the rest goes into the bin..!!! :P
-
So on average, how much data would you say you would download a month?

Same with me, I found out about it a week ago. Thanks for share though ;)

Hmm, this is actually a really tough one for me. I love playing playstation 3 games but after playing PC games for a while it is hard to get use to the analog. Since I am a fan of FPS games I would have to say PC.
-
I love the Prius and Insight.
-
can someone suggest a good mouse for gaming(FPS games)? Not too costly though!
Logitech
Razer
Razer Mice from $39.99 - $129.99
These are some mice I know my friends have and enjoy. Logitech is a great lastly brand and I have heard a lot of people like the MX518 over the G9 but the decision is yours. I personally have and love the Razer Deathadder.
If you want a really good gaming mouse I would recommend the Razer Lachesis or the Mamba but they are kind of pricey. If you need anything else let me know.

Which do you guys prefer for gaming? A console or PC?

Underground Ravers – BitTorrent tracker for hardcore music (unlimited invites)
.fullpost{display:inline;} If you are a fan of hardcore/hardstyle music you’ll love this site. Underground Ravers (UR) is a specialized music tracker focusing only on hardcore music, music videos and a limited number of music related applications. Although it’s a relatively unknown site, UR has been around for more than three years and actually has a long history. Underground Ravers has always been a tracker that preferred secrecy – however it is now seeking more members to expand its user base. Tracker admins have been kind enough to give an exclusive signup key for FILEnetworks Blog readers which will support an unlimited number of registrations during a limited period of time.
http://lh6.ggpht.com/_GEiY3s3yU4k/SmNuQhfM....jpg?imgmax=800[/
Underground Ravers was launched back in mid 2006 – It was started as a replacement for Ravetracker, which shut down due to legal threats on the same year (Ravetracker itself was started after happy2bhardcore was shut down). Since then UR has slowly but steadily grown into a small community based hardcore music tracker. As of 19/7/2009 this tracker has close to 600 members and indexes over 1850 active torrents.
As mentioned several times in this article Underground Ravers specializes in hardcore music. Releases span across 6 main categories; live, tape, video, vinyl, CD, other and digital. Note that there are a lot of non scene user uploads on this tracker which are probably not found elsewhere. You can preview a part of UG’s torrent index in the following screenshot:

If you are planning to become a member of this site and is planning to use Azureuz/Vuze as your BT client, you might want to read the following:
Please DO NOT use Azureus/Vuze bittorrent client on this tracker. There is a problem with this client where it can double the stats you send to the tracker.
We recommend using uTorrent.
If you Azureus/Vuze then staff will not fix any ratio problems you may encounter. You have been warned!
Underground Ravers has always been a ‘secret’ tracker. Even posting tracker URL in public is usually prohibited (this article is which is approved by site admins is an exception). They currently have open signups however judging by the reactions in the shoutbox, this isn’t a very popular decision among the site’s existing members. However it should definitely be great news for hardcore music fans looking forward to get into Underground Ravers (EDIT: Already closed. Only way in is via our signup link).
Site Name: Underground Ravers (http://www.underground-ravers.com)
Signup URL: Underground Ravers Registration
FILEnetworks Signup Key: Underground Ravers Registration
Note: This key is for FILEnetworks Blog readers only. If you are posting it elsewhere please link to this article instead of just posting the key – people who sign up should at least know what the tracker is about.
Special thanks to UR admins and staff for offering FILEnetworks Blog readers a chance to become members of this tracker.

You've all probably heard TPB crew was sentenced to a year in jail a couple of months ago.
BBC: Court jails Pirate Bay founders
Toward of the end of last month, it was announced that TPB is being sold to Global Gaming Factory X.
The Pirate Bay Blog - TPB might change owner
The Pirate Bay Sold To Software Company, Goes Legal | TorrentFreak
BREAKING: The Pirate Bay Sold For $7.8 Million
Two weeks later, GGFX confirmed that TPB would become pay-to-use, something which many of its users feared would happen.
New Pirate Bay Will Become a Pay Site | TorrentFreak
Pay to use Pirate Bay? Will it fly? - Technology - NZ Herald News
Is that the end of it? After the "TPB sold" announcement, anakata claimed that TPB will never become pay-to-use. What will ultimately happen remains to be seen, but what's interesting is a new project called OpenBitTorrent. Quite possibly OBT will be the successor to TPB - see below.
Playing Whack-A-Mole With Data: The Pirate Bay Lives On | TorrentFreak
OpenBitTorrent Tracker Muscles In On The Old Pirate Bay | TorrentFreak
Did OpenBitTorrent just become The Pirate Bay 2.0?
Right now tracker.openbittorrent.com resolves to the same IP address as tracker.thepiratebay.org. If the TPB tracker ever becomes private and pay-to-use, all the OBT crew needs to do is change the DNS entry for tracker.openbittorrent.com and voila - all torrents suddenly switch (back) to the open tracker.

5,000-pound shark washes ashore on Long Island
By Jesse Solomon
CNNNEW YORK (CNN) -- A 26-foot-long dying shark washed ashore Tuesday on a Long Island beach, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation said.
The basking shark that washed ashore on Long Island, New York, on Tuesday was 26 feet, 6 inches long.
The male basking shark, which weighed an estimated 5,000 pounds and was measured at 26 feet, 6 inches, died shortly after authorities arrived on the scene, according to marine educator Tracy Marcus of the Cornell Cooperative Extension.
Marcus, who was at the beach at the time, said there were no outer abrasions on the shark, ruling out of the possibility of a boat strike, and the cause of the shark's death was unknown to investigators.
Basking sharks can grow up to 35 feet in length and are the second-largest fish in the oceans after the whale shark, Marcus said.
The basking shark, which is non-threatening to humans, feeds mostly on plankton and smaller fish. Watch shark being washed ashore ?
This particular species spends the summer months off America's Northeast coast and then migrates to the warm waters off South America for summer in the Southern Hemisphere.

SCC is one of the better 0-Day trackers and is quite similar to FtN or ScT. Like most scene trackers they all have generally the same content and are constantly battling it out to see who has the best pre-times and speeds. Actually this issue has caused quite a bit of debate here and I'm sure if you search you'll find plenty of threads with people arguing who's got the best speed or pretime (it can get pretty heated). Generally, SCC manages to hold it's own and has good times and fast downloads.

Google Operating System
Are we ready for this ?
Google Chrome has always been a little more than a browser: it's optimized for running web applications, each tab runs as a separate process, the interface is minimalistic and there's even a task manager. "We realized that the web had evolved from mainly simple text pages to rich, interactive applications and that we needed to completely rethink the browser. What we really needed was not just a browser, but also a modern platform for web pages and applications, and that's what we set out to build," said Google in September 2008.
