  1. I couldn't agree with you more. Trying to inflict fear into everyone else that does this. The chances of stopping everyone from doing this is really next to nothing. I too feel sorry for her, really like where is she going to fork up that money from?
  2. Very detailed and descriptive guide, I will be sure to read it and try it when I get home tomorrow as I do not have time right now. I will let you know how it goes when I get back! Thanks!

  4. Connecting to a bad ed2k server can have some nasty consequences. They monitor your activities and report to anti-p2p outfits. They direct you to non-existent files, corrupted fakes and hide files which others genuinely want to share. Learn how to protect yourself. Millions of file-sharers use the eDonkey (ed2k) network daily with every conceivable file and media type available for download. However, for millions of users on the ed2k network there is a threat hidden below the surface - fake eDonkey servers, estimated to be as many as 60% of all the ed2k servers currently online. These bad servers can spy on you, track your activities and report your behavior to anti-p2p companies. Others are concerned in engineering a situation to put malware on your machine. For the incomplete downloads in progress, the user’s ed2k client asks all the servers configured in its server list to find additional sources but of course, if you connected to a bad server it now knows everything that has been happening in your client - a major privacy breach. Fake servers are also there to misdirect, to cheat, to confuse. “Simply put, those servers lie. And they do a lot of it.” explained qm2003 from eMule-Project. “When a client is searching for something, fake servers will return files and sources to files that are actually non-existent, empty or garbage.” Furthermore, files being offered for share by users connected to a fake server will not show up in search results of queries made by other users, effectively starving the network of millions of files. “Some fake servers deliberately return results with supposedly thousands of sources to prematurely end searches” explains qm2003, “And to make matters worse, those search results contain malware that will infect the system of any client downloading and executing those files.” The problem of connecting to fake servers is actually something built into the standard eMule installation as the default settings result in the adding of fake servers to the server list. Probably due to legal considerations, this situation is not seriously dealt with by the developers but there are steps which can be taken now to improve the situation; 1. In eMule go to Options/Server 2. Set number of errors allowed before removing the server to 9 3. Click Edit button that appears next to the option Auto update 4. In Notepad, that is opened, add the following lines in the beginning: http://www.gruk.org/server.met.gz http://peerates.net/peerates/certifiedservers.met http://peerates.net/peerates/trueservers.met 5. Save changes in notepad 6. Unmark the two following options Update list of servers 7. Click on Accept 8. Go to servers window 9. Remove all servers from static list 10. Remove all servers from list 11. In Update Server.met from URL, write any of the URL in point 4 above. 12. Click on Update button 13. If you have selected Autoconnect only to servers on the static list, add the servers you want to the static list 14. Double click on any server We reported on the value of Protocol Obfuscation (BitTorrent users will be more familiar with the term Protocol Encyption.) and it is of some use to this situation. To date, no spy/fake servers support obfuscated connections, so enabling it in the options of eMule 0.47C rules out the current possibility of connecting to a bad server. However, as we pointed out in the earlier article, this method does carry the side effect of not being able to connect to non-eMule clients, versions of eMule before 0.47b (which do not support PO) and other clients with PO switched off. Taking the above steps will drastically improve your chances of avoiding a bad server. Tune in next time when we cover the issues surrounding spy/fake/poisoning clients and current counter-measure techniques.

  10. Welcome to Invitehawk.com We know that there are two types of trackers, Public and Private and here is the general comparison between these two. When using Private trackers you can purely reach your greatest download rapidity where in most luggage (95%) you will find the seeders more than the leechers, and that because each in Private trackers requests to rise/up his ratio because there is a ratio monitoring, and therefore you will eventually be treated according toRegards, This ratio either you will get manually banned/warned or you will be VIP/furthest addict/rule abuser etc. Unlike Private trackers, the biggest weakness of the free trackers is the lengthy speeds, in Private trackers you won't find the leechers easily while in the public ones you won't find the seeders because there is no ratio monitoring in these sites and there are no credits being given to those who might want to seed/upload. In most Private trackers you will find only scene releases where you can download them in the correct same form they were free e.g. RAR's, these releases typically being uploaded to private trackers 1 sec to 15 notes after the pre time. While in Public tracker you can find both scene releases and non-scene releases such as p2p releases, home made (aXXo, FXG, etc) or any other sources. (field relief 30% - non-prospect releases 70%) but the good thing here that you may find most of them unload (no RAR's, no ultra range), the scene releases commonly being uploaded 30 minutes - 2 hour after the pre time. The private trackers are not for everyone, they are only for registered users only often and they open their registration once per week / month, but AFAIK, there are few Web sites that you do not receive a Unless you have an invitation . While Public Tracker is for everyone without registration, which means that there are a large number of users of this page (and the administrators want), advertising, etc., in which many users through large community where people share everything they especially their Knowledge. In private tracker, to upload in these sites there are some criteria that everyone has to meet, e.g. access to the scene releases, lowest upload hustle, you have to be a trusted part, etc. In public tracker everyone has the privilege to upload/split something they have and this is a big advantage for users.

  12. mIRC Commands If you would like to keep a particularly interesting chat that has scrolled by but is still in your buffer there is a way to save it! Type "ALT -" (alt minus) to enter the system menu under the top left little icon thingy above every channel or private conversation. In this menu select the Buffer/Save As/ entry and save your buffer to a file. Succes! The LOCK feature in mIRC allows you to minimize mIRC and lock it with a password for strange eyes. If you control-minimize mIRC (keep the Ctrl-key pressed down while minimizing mIRC), it will be locked with your password. If no password was set previously mIRC will ask you for one. Later when you want to maximize mIRC you need your password to activate it. An extention of this feature in the /File/Options/General/Lock/ menu can be used to lock mIRC or certain channels for your children! Shift+Mouse on Switchbar Did you know that you can 'fast-close' a window in mIRC by clicking its button on the Switchbar while holding the SHIFT key pressed down?? /uwho Ever wondered who you're actually speaking with? The /whois {nick} command shows you a lot of cryptic info in the Status window but the /uwho {nick} command will open a clear and informative User Central. Give it a try! You can also store address info of your friends in the User Central for future reference. ALT + Minus Press the key combination ALT and 'minus' simultaneous to access the windows' System Menu's (found under that little horizontal bar in every top left corner of ANY window in mIRC and windows). Here you can set the fonts you like, the logging options, save the buffer and set various other things for private and channel conversations. /clear Use the /clear command to flush away all old text you dont want to read again. /clearall clears all text in all windows! Remember that old doskey feature under DOS? mIRC has it too! Use the arrow up/down keys, eventually combined with SHIFT, to recall old commands and text lines. /channel The /channel command will open the Channel Central that displays all modes and bans set on your current channel. /pdcc Use the undocumented /pdcc [on|off] command to speed up your DCC sessions! It will pump a certain amount of your data packages away to the reciever, ahead of the confirmation of their arrival. Try it, it works . Quick reference to mIRC's commands: If you need more info on any command listed here, type /help {command} in mIRC. The list here is far from complete! / Recalls the previous line entered in the current window. /! Recalls the last command typed in any window. /action {action text} Sends the specifed action to the active channel or query window. /ame {action text} Sends the specifed action to all channels which you are currently on. /amsg {text} Sends the specifed message to all channels which you are currently on. /auser {level} {nick|address} Adds a user with the specified access level to the remote users list. /auto [on|off|nickname|address] Toggles auto-opping of a nick or address or sets it on or off totally. /away {away message} Sets you away leave a message explaining that you are not currently paying attention to IRC. /away A plain away sets you being back. /ban [#channel] {nickname} [type] Bans the specified nick from the curent or given channel. /beep {number} {delay} Locally beeps 'number' times with 'delay' inbetween the beeps. /channel Pops up the channel central window (only works in a channel). /clear Clears the entire scrollback buffer of the current window. /clearall Clears all text in all open windows. /ctcp {nickname} {ping|finger|version|time|userinfo|clientinfo} Does the given ctcp request on nickname. /ctcps [on|off] Sets the Tools/Remote/ section (not) to listen to CTCP commands. 13. Assuming that you have some idea about micro-HD.This is a different way to encode your 720p and 1080p media into microHD using MeGUI and the x264 codec which gives superior results than just using the Mainconcept encoder. This is currently the way I encode microHD. Preparation You will need K-lite codec pack installed for the x264 codec http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...codec_pack.htm 1. AviSynth_080912.exe (google for it but if u cant find it pm me as its not allowed to post DDL links) 2. megui-0_3_0_2015.exe(google for it but if u cant find it pm me as its not allowed to post DDL links) 3. NeroDigitalAudio.zip(google for it but if u cant find it pm me as its not allowed to post DDL links) 4. MKV extract from http://www.matroska.org/downloads/windows.html* would be helpful. There are other useful tools on this site as well, so bookmark it for future use. 5. Install MKV Toolnix from http://www.matroska.org/downloads/windows.html Install Avisynth and MeGUI(Remember where you assigned the program folder on your computer). Open the Nero Digital folder after download and copy the files from the win32 folder to the MeGUI folder on your computer. This allows the 6 channel AC3 sound to be compressed to ND HE AAC 6 channel sound files. Running MeGUI the first time MeGui may take a few seconds to start running as it looks for all the necessary programs on your system for the encoding process. It will also update any of these programs by connecting to the net. After updating MeGui will ask you to choose via tickbox which 'presets' to import. You should import all of the X264 presets and any others you feel you may use. If anything is missing an error box will appear to let you know what the problem is. Configuring MeGUI for Encoding Now that MeGUI is running you should see this Click on 'Tools' and select Avisynth script creator, this will open Add your 720/1080 HD file to the Video input by clicking on the * button. After your video loads up you will be given a picture preview, just close this. Clheck the 'Clever™ Anamorphic encoding' box, this helps create a good 16:9 picture. I reduce the Resolution crop from 1280X720 to 848X480,but this is really down to personal preference, so choose a resolution. Click on the 'Filter' tab at the top, this will open At the 'source type' select Progressive and take a chance its right(which it will be 90 percent of the time) or click 'Analyse' and let the computer do it, this may take a few minutes. I would leave the frame rate as it is 23.976. Now click on 'Save' where you will be given another picture preview of your choices, click this off and save the Avisynth script to a folder. You should now see your video has been loaded into MeGUI like so At 'Encoder Settings' I use 'x264 Unrestricted 2 pass balanced', this can be configured by pressing the 'Config" button but I recommend that you leave this alone until you are more comfortable with MeGUI and just use the default settings for x264. Use MKV extract to remove the audio from the 720/1080 file. You do not have to do this with a 2 channel rip though, simply load your video file into the audio input as below. Add your audio to 'Audio Input' using the* button. Select the audio 'Encoder settings', I use the Nero Digital multichannel 192kbps setting. Again the settings can be changed by pressing the 'Config' button, however I would recommend you become more comfortable with MeGUI before tinkering. You should now have both Video and Audio loaded, now press 'AutoEncode', this opens this box elect MKV(not MP4) at the 'container' box At Size and Bitrate click on the drop down box and select 'select size', I've settled on 500mb for my TV episodes, but then again its down to personal preference. You'll notice that the bitrate is displayed in the 'Average Bitrate' box. You can type in a bit rate yourself instead of file size, its up to you. Click on 'Queue' which will close the box and return to the main window. Click on the 'Queue' tab at the top which will show you the jobs list like so f you are happy click on start and thats it, you now have to wait for the encoding to finish, with 2 passes about 4 hours for a 1.09GB 720. note:as u have noticed i used AAC audio.Nero has won awards across the boards with this audio codec when its been put up against other formats, AC3 is primarily used for DVD audio and in an ideal world that would be maintained for all encodes since its the original soundtrack. The problem is that the files are much larger with AC3 with sometimes worse quality, hence my preference for AAC due to its much greater efficiency..
  14. What Trackers are Worth Attention please THIS LIST SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN LITERALLY. It's just to figure where each site stands RARITY-WISE. Use Rankings Between Brackets For [Content,Speed,Pre-Times] Trading isn't the only way to become a member on harder to get sites (from level 3 to 10). In fact, some trackers are nearly impossible to get by trading and if you do it might be disabled anyway. Being an active member on this forum and going by site rules can be more gratifying, just keep that in mind. If you decide to trade. Be sure the other trader is trusted on FST or use the middleman function to minimize risk of being scammed. As Skizo pointed out, the thread is getting unproductive posts. If you are suggesting a rarity/rating change please state WHY! ? This topic is rating sites from level 1 to 10 based on rarity 1 being the easiest to get into a site and 10 the hardest. This has nothing to do with contents of the trackers. Ratings of trackers themselves are in the [#] tags. Tracker Ratings Trackers have ratings from 1 to 10 in the [#] tags. This is based on Content and Speed and Pre-Times. Tracker Type Dark Red [] 0-day trackers with rare files and packs. Green [] 0-day trackers. Blue [] dedicated tracker. (like E**** for lossless or BitMeTV for TV episodes) Tracker Reviews Trackers listed in BOLD have reviews - just simply click on it to see the review. Reviews are for FST members only! Please DO NOT copy or use on another site. To Contribute To This Post Post the site and the value of Rarity ••••• you think it has. Then include in brackets the [Rating] you think the site is. Suggestions should look like this - SCT Level 5[10]. Include why the rarity/rating should be changed. Mention trackers that could be added. This post exists almost everywhere, although it’s difficult to find an updated one. I believe this first started on FST, but I’m unable to find a current thread for it there. Regardless, it badly needed to be updated - many of the Level 1 and 2 trackers (that you’ll find on most similar lists) are not open to new signups or don’t even exist anymore. We’ve compiled this data from existing (and some hopelessly outdated) lists, with some help from admins and moderators. For those who don’t already know, private trackers are ranked into "Levels" based on the criteria of how difficult it is to get in. Level 1 being the easiest to get into, and Level 10 the hardest. This has nothing to do with the contents of the trackers (quality, # of torrents, etc). The number in brackets beside each tracker [8] represents the trackers’ ratings. This is based on Content, Speed and Pre-Times. Thus, a higher number basically means a ‘higher rated’ tracker within that level. *** Level 1 *** These sites are open for signups. Those looking to join can register with ease. All4nothin [6] AniRena [5] AOM Killer [8] ArenaBG [8] Cinemageddon [7] Docs.Torrents.ro [8] Empornium [6] FilePorn [6] FullContactZone [7] HDBits.ro [8] HDCenter [7] ILoveTorrents [6] IMDbTorrent [3] LegendaryTorrents [6] Majaa [5] Merc-Tech [5] Midnight-Torrents [7] Partis.si [8] PureTNA [7] RTSHQ [6] SceneLeech [6] ShareReactor [6] SportScene [8] SuperTorrents [7] TorrentGeeks [5] TVTorrents [8] WitchTracker [6] ZOMB [6] and there’s countless others… *** Level 2 *** These sites are easy to obtain. Chances are you will get in these sites easily by asking in the invite section of tracker invite websites. Many of these are often open publicly to new signups, as well. AceTorrents [7] Arabfilms [5] Audionews [7] Audiozone [5] BestShare [6] BitGate [7] BitGamer [7] Bit-HDTV [7] BitHQ [6] BitNation [7] BitSeduce [7] BitShock [6] BitSpyder [8] BiTT [6] BlueDragon [4] BrokenStones [8] BTGigs [6] BTNext [6] BWTorrents [8] Cheggit [7] ChildBytes [7] ChristianTorrents [7] ChronicTracker [6] CinemaObscura [6] DanishBits [8] Demonoid [6] DiDiDave [5] DigitalHive [6] DimeaDozen [8] Diwana [5] DVDSeed [7] Elbitz [7] EliteBits [5] EvoPT [7] ExtremeBits [6] FeedTV [6] FileBits [7] FileList.ro [7] FileMP3 [7] FilmBits [6] FunFile [5] GFXNews.ru [8] GigaTorrents [5] Goem [8] HeavenTracker [6] HorrorCharnel [7] IPTorrents [7] KrayTracker [6] LearnBits [7] LeechersLair [5] Libitina [5] Linkomanija [8] Majomparade [6] MazeTorrents [6] Moobs [6] MySpleen [7] Nemesyz [5] NTorrents [8] PotUK [6] PowerScene [6] ProAudio-T [7] PussyTorrents [8] PWTorrents [9] SceneFZ [6] SceneTracker [6] SITR [4] SoftMP3 [7] SoftTorrents [6] SoundDamage [5] STMusic [8] SweBits [8] TeluguTorrents [7] TheBox.bz [10] ThePeerHub [5] ThePokerBay [7] TheSharingZone [6] Torrent.lt [7] TorrentBits.ro [7] TorrentBytes [6] Torrent-Damage [6] TorrentZilla [6] TPOF [7] TranceBooster [5] TVJunkies [6] TV.Torrents.ro [7] Underground-G [7] UKNova [7] VIPv2 [7] Wild-Bytes [7] x264.eu [6] XBOX-Sky [8] XtremeZone [6] XW Torrents [7] Zamunda [8] Tophos [6] Libble [6] *** Level 3 *** The sites from this level and up are harder to get into. Having said that, most of these Level 3 sites are offered freely through tracker "giveaways". BitMe.org [9] BitSoup [8] BT-Arg [6] BTMusic [8] DeepBassNine [7] DesiTorrents [8] FinBytes [7] HDBits [10] IndieTorrents [7] KaraGarga [9] MMATracker [7] MusicTorrents [6] NCore [7] PeerPortal [8] PirateBits [8] Pisexy [7] Pretorians [7] RevolutionTT [10] RMVBusters [7] SCC [9] Snowtigers [6] ThePlace [8] TheVault [8] TorrentLeech [10] TTi [7] What.cd [8] *** Level 4 *** Level 4 sites are still pretty easy to get, as long as you trade similar-level sites. Many of them can still be found in "giveaway" threads. BlackCatsGames [10] CZone.ro [8] DarkSidev2.0 [8] IPLAY [8] Music-Vids [8] Thor’s Land [6] TS-Tracker [8] TranceRoute [7] TheDVDClub [8] Waffles.fm [8] *** Level 5 *** Level 5 sites are not given away for free. Everybody and anybody is trying to get into these sites from here up. It should be noted that these Level 5’s are commonly traded, and heavily requested. Memberships are usually limited to 20K or less. BitMeTV [10] Elektronik [8] ITS [8] PolishTracker [9] PTN [8]* ScL [8] *Some claim that PTN should have no rating at all. You be the judge. I put it at Level 5 because I’ve seen it given away in ‘recruitment’ threads, although under a strict set of rules. *** Level 6 *** Even rarer. Sites like ScT charge a ‘donation’ for their invites, so members are not so easily parted with them. ArtOfMisdirection [7] ScT [10] *** Level 7 *** These sites are very difficult to get in to. Invites for existing members are likely shut down permanently. It may be easier to find someone who is giving away their account, as opposed to an invitation. Bithumen [9] NorBits [8] TranceTraffic [10] *** Level 8 *** Even rarer - SweDVDR only allows members who have a Nordic IP range. FTN recently gave out some invites to members who uploaded more than 1 TB - still very, very difficult to find an invite, though. SweDVDR [9.5] FTN [10] *** Level 9 *** These trackers only allow a maximum membership count of around 1,500 & 3,000 total users, respectively. Exigo [8] FSC [10] *** Level 10 *** Mission: Impossible. The rarest of all private trackers: FTWR [8] UK-T [8]
