With the move successful, we can finally begin SceneHD's birthday week. The 7th year of SceneHD is about to draw to a close, and we are stronger than ever. We recently cracked the 170k peers barrier for a short period of time, we have almost 24k torrents, and almost half of you are seeding torrents. Since the preparations for the move took up most of our time this past few weeks, we do not have anything "special" in store for you, just the "usual": Birthday invites: For a little over a week, you can buy special invites in the bonus shop. Those invites are offered at a reduced cost of 100p, but are only valid until April 22 after which all remaining birthday invites and invite codes will be deleted. Please note that all restrictions and rules associated with normal invites still apply. The only exception is that you will be able to send out those invites regardless of the site's current monthly donation amount. Freeleech tokens: Every user has been given 5 freeleech tokens to be used on archive torrents of your choice (certain restrictions apply). These tokens expire when you complete the torrent or after 24h. All freeleech tokens not used by April 22 will be deleted. This also includes all tokens won by challenging the god prior and during the birthday week! 150% upload: There will be no freeleech, but the site has been set to 150% upload. This means all data uploaded is multiplied by 1.5, including upload counted for bonus!

2013-12-31 - Invite System Dear IPTorrents Users We have regretfully announce that we have had to make change to the IPT Invite system Due to the amount of abuse the system has been receiving since the implementation of the H&R system we have decided to remove ALL invites from ANY account that has an Active H&R warning Any one that has a Current Active Warning and tries to send a Invite will meet this screen : Sorry, you cannot invite at the moment due to the Hit & Run Warning on your account. Sadly, due to the high number of members abusing our invite system by sending themselves invites to avoid HNR restrictions, thus filling our database with dupe accounts, we have had to take some necessary steps. Members with HNR warnings on their account will no longer be able to issue an invite until their accounts are clear of HNR warnings. Currently there are 2 ways to remove HNR warnings from your account: 1) For each 2 consecutive months without a HNR warning, 1 warning will be removed from your warning count, until your count reaches zero (0). 2) Donation, any donation options on the donations page will remove all current HNR’s and will reset your warning count to zero (0) The only way to lift this restriction is to remove the current H&R warnings from your account and you can learn how to do this here : Please read through this link HnR Q&A's This has not been implemented as a punishment, it has been implemented to secure the site and stop the mass abuse of our good nature. The system is meant for the influx of good users you trust, and not for the abuse that is currently happening All is not lost, if you do not have a current active H&R you can still send invites, if you have had H&R warnings on your account and they have expired you can still send them. they have to be active H&R showing on your account like this to stop you : Also, The new change encompasses the invites you send.
