The new server is installed and up and running. It has twice the amount of disk capacity, and twice the amount of RAM, which should allow us to grow for quite some time. We took the opportunity to upgrade all the main servers in the network to the buster release (yes, it all runs on Debian).
The slots on the encrypted disk of the old server were dropped, rendering the contents inaccessible, we scribbled all over the partition with random bytes and and all the log files were securely wiped before returning the server to the host.
The VPN layer across the network has been entirely revamped, phasing out Openvpn in favor of Wireguard.
The various elements of the site that require a database access (sphinx, ocelot and gazelle) now have separate user accounts with grants to only the tables they require, and no more. This helps to prevent a compromise from being able to do more damage than it should to the db.
Ocelot is up and running, gazelle is running and accessible from the outer proxy. What remains to be done is to get sphinx online, and set up all the various scheduled jobs in crontab. After that the site will be able to go live.

At the time of writing this review, this tracker has just over 108 000 torrents. However, a lot of older torrents have no seeders but there is reseed button, which when you click, sends notification to every user that snatched the torrent, so they can reseed it. Community is very mature and passionate about motorsports. Shoutbox and forums have decent activity during racing season. During winter break however, there won't be a lot of activity. Finding invite for this tracker is not very easy because there doesn't seem to be a lot of people willing to give invite away or trade it, even though plenty of invites are given in site's ranking system. Ofcourse, you can always buy it for reasonable price if you're struggling to find it. Maintaining ratio on this tracker is moderate. There is no freeleech and no bonus system. The best way to build buffer is to immediately jump on popular torrents (Formula 1, MotoGP, WSBK and similar) and put them into your seedbox, or if you have good connection (>100 Mbit/s), at home. That being said, there is no auto-ban system for low ratio. That means that staff members have to manually disable you if you have bad ratio. However, they are not very strict about that. Just be active and contributing member, and they will tolerate low ratio. This site has has one very nice and unique feature called is race calendar, which shows you every motorsports event in the current year and member(s) that will capture it and upload it on site.

Speeds are good and files are supported by seedboxes. It has bonis points system and many files are freeleech. They sometimes open for free sign up and you can get invites easily. Community is not big but they are good and helpful. They have special section for children called DVD's for children.
