  1. I seems to me that anti-piracy/copyright infringement groups have really stepped up their efforts this last year or so across the board really as well as on Reddit. Maybe Covid is either directly or indirectly influencing this idk. But it seemed to me to start ramping up before covid was a thing but I'm not sure. Just a few years ago, I wouldn't have been too concerned about seeding from home to a private tracker when my seedbox/VPN would lapse for a time due to a lack of funds or whatever. But now I most certainly would.
  2. I've never had a problem with shared boxes personally, they offer decent speeds at an economic price point for many users. That being said, I have sometimes felt concerns over the shared I.P. address commonly used. For example, what happens when another user on the box with the same I.P. is using it on the same tracker you use, or perhaps even the same torrent? I've personally never had an issue from this on the trackers I currently have. But dedicated boxes are nice, for more then just additional speed. I've never purchased a dedicated "formatted" seedbox per say, but I have purchased raw dedicated servers on many occasions. Doing that you have the freedom to install whatever operating system you want, whatever torrent client you wish, and any other applications you might need. For example, handbrake or some encoding app on an offsite box might be one use case among many. They are nice, but they come at a premium price point compared to shared boxes in which people on a budget might find it hard to justify.
  3. A. Tell us something about yourself? I dislike mayonnaise and like sausage. B. How did you find InviteHawk? Google. C. What Torrent Sites are you looking for? (Mention none if just browsing) Not sure yet, a have 2 but am thinking about exploring option for another. D. Do you use the same username or email on InviteHawk as well as on trackers? (If yes, change it from your profile or contact a staff member) No. E. Do you have any suggestions for InviteHawk? Not at this time.
