AsianDVDClub News - 31-07-2021 SUMMARY OF OUR RULES AND USAGE INSTRUCTIONS We are not a piracy tracker, each member has individual responsibility to comply with the local laws. People registering with malicious intents such as trolling, harming ADC reputation, leaking any internal information available to members only to the outside sources will not have identity protection and will be dismissed with disclosure (courtesy of our ba**k members). Asian DVD Club is not a private tracker under the private ownership but the community of the individuals where everyone has not only the right but also the obligation to take part in the community activities. That includes sharing of community expenses. No payments needed for sign-up or during your candidacy stage (details below) until you become full members. Later expect to pay once about $10-$20 for server hardware and $10 every 2-4 years for server collocation (which will become less frequent and lower as the number of members increases). Payments for members from very poor countries (based on UN data) will be covered by others under reasonable assumption taking in account person's ability to pay for the Internet and/or seedboxes. Structurally, the attempt was to organize a tracker in the most efficient way. It is different from other private trackers. Members are normally are passive participating, passive non-participating, pro-active non-uploading, pro-active uploading, enthusiasts with the unique content who only would like to share and do not need anything and finally those who would like to get something and give nothing in return, people who abuse the system. In traditional private trackers, the last one's and passive non-participating taking majority of members. Changes to that have a lot of contradictions from those who got used to the idea of "everything is free" because it put the dilemma in front of them, do something or leave the place. Our community has split membership in two parts: candidates and members. Candidates have to work hard to have requirements fulfilled on the minimum activity and participation level. You will be required to accumulate 20 GB of upload using free leech torrents and your own uploads in 60 days. After reaching 20 GB upload you will be promoted from candidates to members ‘user class’ where you can upload and download any files, but you still have to be able to get total upload of 220 GB within 4 months of joining the tracker to meet ‘user class’ requirement. If you are unable to comply with any of these parts, you will be placed in a limited category, with upload and seeding the only activities allowed. After 90 days of tracker inactivity, accounts are being deleted (180 days for members unless parked). Once you have past candidate stage and became members, your position will become well secured with minimal activity required within a year. Unless you break any serious rules, you will never be dismissed. Even if you will go beyond the minimum allowable ratio of 0.61 you will only be placed in a limited category until you can restore your ratio. Former ADC members (before 2019) who have at least a few original ADC DVDs or Blu-rays saved that are available for the upload can register, skipping the limited download stage. For registration, do not use mobile phones as information is not being entered in the database correctly. Your date of birth will be used to give you a birthday present, and for people desiring to display their age it will be an option in the future. Besides the regulatory compliance, that also will be a means of your account's recovery in case if it is stolen and email changed. You will receive confirmation email, please move it from the SPAM or deleted items to the inbox otherwise links may not function. For successful tracker usage please upload custom avatar otherwise you will have tracker announce error, make sure to use approved client from FAQ. We do not have capacity to troubleshoot your personal computer issues related to failed registrations. We just may suggest using a different computer, or creating a new account in your operating system and attempting to register from there. We do have a firewall that will have a security level lowered at the time of registration, but presence of malware in your computer might trigger it and block registration. As you are register you consent and will be held responsible for reading rules, FAQ and TOS. Questions answered in the FAQ section, for example, will be addressed the last. For the people unfamiliar with our upload system, the description is very detailed and specific. All you have to do is carefully read and follow templates, refer to other uploads for examples. For your first uploads, we will provide assistance and corrections. But our staff is very limited and support and assistance capability is minimal. Keep in mind, the website is a hundred percent functional, there are no issues, so most likely if you have some kind of error you are doing something wrong. We are using discord server for the general activity and technical assistance only, link for invitation is in the left upper corner.
