Agreed, I think the WireGuard protocol they use is top-of-the-line for security/privacy. I often see Mullvad brought up as one of the best. Nord does do a really good job marketing itself though, and admittedly I haven't researched how good NordLynx is in comparison to WireGuard. One upcoming VPN I'm really excited for is Cloudflare's WARP. It touts the same WireGuard protocol, but boasts the highest speeds, so def worth looking into imo.

Well wireguard is just a protocol so it will eventually be adpoted by most VPN providers i would imagine, given its advantages. I just use the OpenVPN protocol for now anyway, id prefer to wait until its more mainstream before i start using wireguard.

Id be far less concerned with the cryptographic protocols and more concerned with transparency of the provider so I dont understand why so many people seem to trust NordVPN. its way too clandestine which should be a huge red flag for anyone who has good privacy hygene.
