Logitech cordless trackman. The best for games because you can rotate the ball a lot faster then moving the whole mouse. In FPS when you need accuracy and agility you will get it. And when my friends see it, they are all astonished with it. I recommend it to everyone :P

Generally ball mice aren't really recommended or used for FPS gaming, the same goes for cordless mice. Corded mice get a much faster response time, like my mouse is 2ms response time. Here is my mouse--

    • 1800dpi Razer Precision? 3G infrared sensor
    • Ergonomic right-handed design
    • 1000Hz Ultrapolling? / 1ms response
    • Five independently programmable Hyperesponse? buttons
    • On-The-Fly Sensitivity? adjustment
    • Always-On? mode
    • Ultra-large non-slip buttons
    • 16-bit ultra-wide data path
    • 6400 frames per second (5.8 megapixels per second)
    • 60?120 inches per second and 15g of acceleration
    • Zero-acoustic Ultraslick? Teflon feet
    • Gold-plated USB connector
    • Seven-foot, lightweight, non-tangle cord
  • Approximate size: 128mm (length) x 70mm (width) x 42.5mm (height)

I pulled this picture off ebay since I don't have one myself.

I use the Razer Diamondback 3G. It's quite small which is ideal for me as i haven't got very big hands :P. It's pretty cheap also. I'd highly recommend it.

Originally I was going to get the G5 or the mx518, is it really comfortable, light and is good on lots of surfaces?

I tried using a wireless mouse once, and I found that the batteries died way too quickly. So I'm using a standard wired mouse. I don't get the big deal about wireless, it's not like the mouse wire gets in the way of anything.

I do still use a wireless keyboard, however. Battery doesn't seem to die as fast.

I have a wireless Mighty Mouse for my Macbook. I'm not sure what mouse I have for my PC though... it's at my dads and I rarely use it.

Logitech G9, it's awesome for games as well as browsing what with the frictionless mouse wheel and all :)
