Daredevil Season 4 Fan Poster Teases Spider-Man Team-Up

A fan-made poster for Daredevil season 4 imagines Spider-Man teaming up with the Devil from Hell's Kitchen. As Spider-Man: No Way Home gears up for its December release, Daredevil season 4 remains in fan's imaginations after the show's sudden cancelation by Netflix in 2018. Three years later, however, Daredevil remains a fan favorite.

Fan-made art based on the wished-for fourth season has been consistently published online since 2018, proving there is still an audience demand for Daredevil's return. While there have been consistent rumors that Charlie Cox will appear as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home, there have been fewer rumors or theories around Peter Parker crossing over to the smaller screen to appear alongside Daredevil.

Posting on Instagram, agtdesign imagines how the Daredevil/Spider-Man team-up might look. Agtdesign, who creates fan art for many Marvel movies and TV shows, puts Spidey front and center. Crouching in his Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far From Home suit, he's shown flanked by some of the Daredevil cast, including the Murdock's Daredevil, Frank Castle/The Punisher, and Claire Temple, with Wilson Fisk/Kingpin looming large over them. Fisk towering over the rest of the characters in the poster fits with the ending of Daredevil season 3, where Fisk entirely took on the mantle of Kingpin, suggesting that the imagined season 4 could show Kingpin in his natural role running New York City's criminal underworld. The inclusion of MJ on the poster also imagines the crossover as more than Spider-Man just swinging in for a cameo, but bring other well-loved characters with him too.

Although a connection was never made explicit between Daredevil and the other Netflix/Marvel shows with the MCU, now that the first season of Loki has established the multiverse, Spider-Man could team up with previously separate Marvel characters such as Daredevil. It all depends on Marvel Studio's plans for the character going forward. As the Devil of Hell's Kitchen and the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man of Queens, it's not unlikely Murdock and Parker could cross each other's paths as they prowl New York City rooftops.

The team-up also has precedent, as Daredevil and the web-slinger have teamed up numerous times in the comics. One theory for No Way Home proposes that Matt Murdock defends Peter Parker in his capacity as a lawyer, following the teenage web-slinger being framed for Mysterio's death having been unmasked by the master illusionist in No Way Home. Should Murdock show up in Far From Home and receive a positive reception from fans, Marvel might think again about telling more Daredevil stories.
