Patricia Summersett, the voice actress behind Zelda in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, will bring to life Nyah, the lead heroine in Elements. Summersett is known for playing roles in a few other notable titles as well, including Ash in Rainbow Six: Siege and Galina in Assassin's Creed: Syndicate.

Developed by indie studio Wreckit Games, Elements aims to let players loose into a magical open-world RPG. Users will have the option to either go it alone or join a friend via split-screen co-op, embarking on an adventure across the verdant land of Elemythia. Nyah and her sibling Beckett constitute the central characters who find themselves tasked with retrieving eight Elemental Stones from selfish and "powerful guardians." The eight enchanted stones possess the powers of Light, Dark, Fire, Water, Ice, Nature, Earth, and Air, each one integral to ensuring the well-being of Nyah's and Beckett's home. While much of the project remains shrouded in mystery, Wreckit Games recently shared one piece of news that should interest Breath of the Wild fans.

Yesterday, August 18, Wreckit Games announced that BOTW's Zelda actress, Patricia Summersett has been tapped to play Nyah, Elements' female lead. A brief Twitter post from the studio additionally unveiled a partnership with indie publisher Apogee, the original name of Duke Nukem creator 3D Realms. Rebranded as Apogee Entertainment, the company reemerged in 2008 following Terry Nagy's acquisition of the logo and name from 3D Realm, which itself recently joined the Embracer Group family. Needless to say, it sounds as though Elements is in good hands all around. Get a sneak peek at the open-world adventure in the following trailer shared by Apogee Entertainment.

Elements boasts a stunning art style, as well as what appears to be lush open-world environments and exciting gameplay. Again, there's still much that remains under wraps about the co-op title from Wreckit Games, yet the little shown, thus far, continues to impress.

While the game currently lacks a firm launch date, it is on track for a Q4 2022 release across PC and consoles. Thus, players should begin exploring the world of Elemythia between October 1 and December 31 of next year.
