Fan Shows Off Impressive Team Rocket PS5 Console

Team Rocket was the criminal organization of the original Pokemon games and fans continue to show their appreciation for the group. One fan recently shared their appreciation for Team Rocket in the form of an impressive PS5 console.

Reddit user The-Waifu-Collector recently shared their Pokemon Team Rocket-inspired PS5 console. Standing on the base included with the PS5 console, one side features Team Rocket's Jessie, while the other depicts the organization's leader, Giovanni. Accompanying Giovanni on his side are his two trusty Persians and the Mewtwo he was responsible for creating. Just as Giovanni fittingly wears the suit he dons in the Pokemon anime, Jessie is dressed in her Team Rocket uniform.

The Team Rocket insignia looms in the background behind Giovanni on The-Waifu-Collector's custom PS5 console. It includes the traditional Persian, as well as the Alolan form which is a recent addition to the roster. As he often does in the Pokemon games, Giovanni is resting in a chair as the tail of a giant Mewtwo wraps around the leader of Team Rocket.

Team Rocket's James and Meowth are notably missing from the other side of The-Waifu-Collector's PS5 console. Jessie is a well-known member of Team Rocket for Pokemon fans, but she's typically accompanied by James and Meowth in the Pokemon anime series and Pokemon Yellow.

Although Team Rocket's Jessie is alone on her side, she still makes the PS5 panel stand out in a rested position that lines up with the base of the console. One Reddit user accurately pointed out that this lining up makes it look like Jessie's knee extends from the PS5 panel into the real world. The-Waifu-Collector's PS5 shows Jessie in a rested position as she stretches her upper body and seemingly blushes at something in the distance.

The blank panels that cover the top and bottom of the PS5 console act as perfect canvases for projects like this Team Rocket one. The-Waifu-Collector explained that Giovanni was used in James' place because they wanted to include Mewtwo somehow in the console artwork. The art on the PS5 console is a skin that has been applied to the PS5 according to The-Waifu-Collector.

While many Reddit users lamented the omission of James on this custom PS5, several others praised the design on the Giovanni side. A large portion of the Reddit response to The-Waifu-Collector's PS5 console shared appreciation for Pokemon's Jessie and her inclusion in the art. One Reddit user pointed out how fitting this custom Team Rocket PS5 console is for The-Waifu-Collector as it features Jessie more prominently than Giovanni himself.
