Halloween Kills Videos Spotlight Kyle Richards’ Return as Lindsey Wallace

Two new Halloween Kills TV spots focus on the return of Kyle Richards' character Lindsey Wallace. Richards' may be more associated with The Real Housewives than anything else today, but she had a big role in John Carpenter's Halloween back in 1978 when she was only nine years old. Richards played Lindsey Wallace, one of the two children Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) was babysitting the night that Michael Myers terrorized Haddonfield. Richards is set to return for Halloween Kills next month; however, it's unknown how big of a role she will have in the movie.

While Michael Myers is considered a horror icon today, some entries in the franchise have had trouble connecting with fans and critics. Many consider David Gordon Green's 2018 Halloween to be the best sequel since the original. There are a number of reasons why the reboot/sequel succeeded more than other sequels, but getting Curtis and Carpenter on board was two huge wins for the movie. Curtis had a starring role in 2o18's Halloween rather than just a cameo, and the movie more than paid tribute to Carpenter's original classic. Halloween Kills continues in that tradition by bringing back Richards as Lindsey Wallace, and now Universal has released a better look at her return.

Two new TV spots for Halloween Kills uploaded by YouTubers conor and 31 Hallows' Death/Andy give the best look yet at Lindsey Wallace. The extended TV spot shows Lindsey questioning a group of kids that are playing on a swingset late at night. The kids tell her there is a man in a mask trying to play hide and seek with them, after which Lindsey tells them to run. Michel attacks Lindsey in both videos, with the character almost getting his mask off in the first TV spot.

Given Lindsey's reaction to seeing Michael, this could be the first time she has seen the killer in 40 years. Usually, people who get this up close to Michael don't survive, so it's very possible Lindsey won't make it out of this altercation unless someone else intervenes. Halloween Kills will also see the return of Tommy Doyle, who is played Anthony Michael Hall rather than Brian Andrews this time around. Tommy looks to have a decent-sized role by rallying the mob against Michael, and past trailers have shown that Lindsey will have an on-screen reunion with Tommy and Nurse Marion Chambers by the end of the film.

Seeing the return of more veteran Halloween actors/characters will definitely be a big draw for long-time fans of the franchise. Lindsey and Tommy played key roles in the original movie, so it will be interesting to see how they have coped with Michael Myers' attack after all these years. With Laurie being injured in Halloween Kills, it would also be an exciting twist to see Lindsey and Tommy save her this time around. Regardless of how big of a role Richards has in Halloween Kills, it will be a nice treat to see her back up on the big screen fighting against Michael Myers.
