Just before the North American release of No Time To Die, it was announced that lead actor Daniel Craig will be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is undoubtedly one of the biggest tourist destinations in Los Angeles. No Time To Die is the 25th James Bond movie and Craig's final outing as the titular character. The movie's release is imminent for North American audiences, having already been released in some markets overseas. The film had been delayed multiple times since its original release date in 2019 due to factors such as director Danny Boyle leaving the project, Cary Joji Fukunaga being hired as his replacement, and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

While he is widely known for his performance as James Bond, Daniel Craig has been in many other popular movies. Some of his other well-known movies include Knives Out, which led to him being nominated for a Golden Globe, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and Logan Lucky. Of course, the James Bond movies solidified Craig as a huge star. His first outing as 007, Casino Royale, released in 2006, which many believe is the best Craig-era Bond film. Since then, his Bond films have reinvented the 007 formula, bringing in more mature stories that are connected.

It has been reported by Variety that Craig will receive his star on Wednesday, October 6. He will be the 2,704th actor to receive a Walk of Fame star. Its location will be at 7007 Hollywood Boulevard, placed next to Roger Moore, another James Bond actor. His No Time To Die costar Rami Malek will be a speaker at the ceremony.

It is no surprise that Craig has finally received a Walk of Fame star. His Bond films have been financially and critically successes, and it seems like No Time To Die will continue that trend. Casino Royale and Skyfall are some of the best-received Bond films, and Craig's portrayal is definitely key to the films' success. Putting him next to Moore is also a great move, as it is a nice testament to the legacy of the 007 character. Craig and Moore are two of four Bond actors to receive a Hollywood Walk of Fame star, with Pierce Brosnan and Barry Nelson, who played Bond in a TV movie.

Some actors and actresses never end up receiving a star or get one toward the end of their career, so it is definitely a great honor for Craig. Having the actor get his star before the film releases in the US will also be a great way to draw attention to the film since, as mentioned above, the Hollywood Walk of Fame is a huge tourist location. Fans can check out Craig in his final performance as Bond when No Time To Die hits theaters on October 8
