New posters for Halloween Kills highlight Laurie Strode along with her daughter and granddaughter. Jamie Lee Curtis has played Laurie Strode since John Carpenter's original 1987 movie, Halloween. Curtis reprised her role in 2018's revamp of the franchise, which introduced audiences to her daughter, Karen (Judy Greer), and her granddaughter, Allyson (Andi Matichak). By the end of the last film, the Strode women had trapped Michael Myers in Laurie's house and set fire to it.

While Curtis' character had remained a victim throughout her previous appearances in the franchise, the 2018 revamp showcased her ability to fight back against Michael. After fortifying her house, and essentially alienating herself from her daughter, Laurie made it clear from the start of the film that she was no longer going to allow Michael to terrorize her. As events unfolded, Laurie's daughter and granddaughter quickly took up her "warrior" attitude, helping to fight back against the serial killer. It seems the Strode women's zest for a fight will be a central theme of the upcoming sequel.

As reported by Bloody Disgusting, Halloween Kills has released four brand-new posters that highlight Laurie, Karen, and Allyson. The first three posters are dedicated to each woman respectively, while the fourth poster sees all three Strode women coming together. The women are set against a blazing backdrop of the Strode house fire they set in the previous movie. Each poster also features the tagline, "Three generations strode strong." View all four Halloween Kills posters below:

All three Strode women look stoic and fierce, with Laurie looking the most grizzled and ready for a fight. Given the tagline of each poster and the recent tie-in featurette, titled "Warriors," the Strode women are more than ready to take on Michael in Halloween Kills. The events of the sequel are expected to take place right after the 2018 Halloween revamp ended, which concluded with Michael trapped in the house fire. However, recent trailers reveal that Michael is still alive and escapes the fire, looking to hunt down the Strode women. The fight won't be easy for Michael, as Laurie says in the featurette, "We fight! We always fight!"

Laurie has come a long way since she was first stalked by the killer back in Carpenter's original movie. Then, a 17-year-old babysitter, Laurie has clearly shed her innocence and is more than happy to get her hands dirty. The new posters above perfectly reflect the Strode women's feelings and motivations. Fans can look forward to watching the Strodes take on Michael in Halloween Kills once it releases to theaters and Peacock on October 15
