Uploading slower on private trackers?

I've noticed recently, that when I started using private trackers (aside from demonoid for some reason) that if I go download a file from a public tracker, disreguarding the type... I've got plenty of leechers attached to me, and they're taking up as much bandwidth as I allow. However, when I download a torrent from a private tracker... It seems that I never past uploading at 5-10k/sec max... Its a strange phenomena, and I was wondering if this is a problem that only I have, or not and if someone has either an answer or solution to it?

Agreed, brand new torrents are the way to go, If you want to do the correct seeding procedure. However; there are members out there who cheat.

I think it's normal, on public trackers there are often more leechers than on private ones, (i.e the whole net!). When on private trackers where the members usually have higher speed, and there's a limited number of leechers, so when people have the torrent downloaded, they become seeders, and your upload speed goes down as there are less and less people left to download the torrent.

this is all depends on which tracker you're registered with. If you download something publicly you will use tons of bandwidth and get a lot of leecers etc. however certain private 0-day trackers most wayyy way faster, so the chances are, something you jumped on, is already being seeded on several seedboxes, as competition is more fierce on better private trackers :)

depending by country and your speed connection.

But 0day has many seeders and few leechers

At the beguining i think that way to but later on i notice that some torrents you can seed better than others depending on how many leechers they have.

That seems to be true for me too. Now I try to jump on torrents as soon as possible.
