I'm a long time contributor to the usenet scene which provided all i needed only until after I discovered the joy of Asian (in particular south korean) movies a few years ago. These days I work in China and the need for Asian content is ever growing (It helps with learning the language for one).

Today i discovered asiatorrents.me which seems to contain lots of content I'm looking for. However in order to join the community, I need an invite. After some searching I found this place which seems to be providing invites for those who ask for it however, you can either only ask for one after 50 posts or you have to buy an invite somewhere? Its actually confusing. I have no problem paying a little money but why do I have to go through some third person, why doesn't asiatorrents.me and many similar sites allow a direct payment? As for the alternative, why would I have to make 50 posts on this site if the only thing I'm currently interested in is that what asiatorrents.me has to offer. (dont take me wrong, i'll be happy to share and help on asiatorrents.me).

Perhaps more concretely I should ask: why are there all these loopholes that I have to go through? I'm willing to pay, i'm willing to share and help. Why then is it still so difficult to get an invite?
