What is the best tracker site for newcomers?

A site that is easy to seed or rationless?

A site with a good community?

Is there any particular type of site?

Alright, help me out. Tell me what you think and why.

In order to be able to get into good trackers you have to prove you are trustworthy enough (meaning you can keep an account safe) so the best way to achieve that would be to start with lets say two open/semi public (demonoid for instance) trackers that are easy to seed and then ask for invites to easy to seed and well-known trackers such as ipt. Then you can try to get in harder to seed trackers and good ratioless trackers :)

In short, in order to have a granted access to a community, you have to show them you could be an asset for the site :D

ps: A good community usually keeps the tracker alive and warmer, depends on what you're looking for in a tracker though ;)

I think Demonoid is nice tracker to start , than IPT : )

the best torrent website to start off is IPT they have freeleech, great content etc

Hi guys.

I have to agree T-Pirate and AntisheilaPowerPro, IPT is great for beginners. I joined it two years ago after long run using Pirate Bay as my only source.

There is lot of freeleech stuff at IPT and you shouldn't have any problem gaining a good ratio.

I would suggest TorrentLeech (TL) for beginners as invites are not impossible to come by and because of the great selection and sheer size of the tracker you can begin to build your reputation quickly and easily if you follow best practices for ratio.

I'd go with Demonoid just because of the large range of music albums. I signed up with IPT but to my dismay they don't match up with Demonoid. Wish sometime I'd get into What.cd and/or Waffles....whichever has more of 80s stuff ;)

u can start at torrentday as its up for signing up as of now.. later u can move up to more exclusive sites as u learn how to maintain good ratios..

yeah Demonoid is a good place to start. It gives you a chance to prove your self with tacking a ratio. If it does not work out you wont get band.
