When the biggest file-sharing site on the internet first came into existence, it was entirely in Swedish and boasted just a few hundred torrent files. But the very first of those, the one that started it all, was uploaded almost exactly 10 years ago and, shockingly enough, wasn't porn. It was a recipe book.

The now historic file, "Top Secret Recipe E-books," is actually a pretty fitting beginning for the controversial torrent site. Written by Todd Wilbur, the book is apparently an attempt to get otherwise secret and/or copyrighted recipes out to the public; Sonic's Cherry Limeade and the Seinfeld Soup Nazi's onion soup being just a few examples, as cited by The Daily Dot.
