This network has been around since 1995 and has been gaining in popularity, especially in the last few years and I’ve been using them since 2010.

Although as the name suggests they are based in California, they do provide readings to people all around the world.

California Psychics is a decent online psychic service. It is unique in that it does not specify specific areas of divination on its site; alternatively, you use various criteria to find psychics who specialize in the particular craft you are interested in. California Psychics lacks some features we sought, but a tight focus on psychic profiles and information helps distinguish the service from its competitors.

Although the site does not explicitly list them, California Psychics offers all of the divination services and types of readings we look for in the best online psychic services. These include astrology, dream interpretation and numerology – just to name a few. This service even offers mediums who perform readings using ancient rituals and tools, such as rune stones, crystals and pendulums.

This service's best feature is its process for selecting a psychic. The site lists multiple search filters you can use to find a reader, ranging from subject matter and tools used to psychic abilities and price. Furthermore, each psychic profile is brimming with information regarding that reader. You can read their biography, browse areas of expertise and listen to a recorded message from the psychic. Each reader also has a schedule posted, and you can arrange appointments if needed. The only feature that is noticeably lacking is the ability to tag your favorite readers. This would be handy as you browse for psychics because you could go back and reference any that you came across and liked.

While its search process is convenient, the service's methods for acquiring readings are not. In fact, the telephone is the only way you can connect with psychic readers through California Psychics. Most of the other services we reviewed also offer email readings and psychic chat. Although email readings are obviously not live, they may constitute a more convenient and comfortable alternative for time-strapped or timid users.

What I really like about the California Psychics site is the way that you can search by tools, subjects, abilities and also price, meaning that if I want a say a tarot reading, by a clairvoyant that is inspiration and deals with my love life, I can do that! They also have the option to specify if you would rather find someone who doesn’t use any tools. I don’t have a problem with people using tools but I know that some do so it’s a handy feature.
