µtorrent ban
Effective 24 hours from this post, all versions of µtorrent and bittorrent(mainline) will be removed from the tracker whitelist.
In light of the recent µtorrent vulnerabilities (https://bugs.chromium.org/p/project-...detail?id=1524) and the lack of a timely patch by the developers we will be removing µtorrent from the whitelist.
The vulnerability allows for arbitrary remote code execution, vast and far reaching information disclosure as well as remote control of the client.
This exploit can be triggered by any website serving a malicious payload, with no interaction on the users part.
Bittorrent Inc. was notified about this issue 90 days before the disclosure period and failed to issue a patch, this shows either disdain or disinterest for their user base.

All versions of µtorrent are now vulnerable
Please use another whitelisted torrent client.
We personally recommend deluge (cross platform), rtorrent (linux, cli), qbittorrent (windows/cross platform) and transmission (osx/cross platform)
If you wish to use deluge there is a useful plugin that will import all your µtorrent torrents automatically.
