The most explosive book of 2018 is headed to the small screen.

“Fire and Fury,” which author Michael Wolff bills as an exclusive glimpse inside President Trump's White House, is being adapted into a TV series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Networks will soon have the opportunity to bid on the project, which will be executive produced by Wolff.

Wolff's book has sparked huge controversy since excerpts began to emerge earlier this month. The book — which Wolff says he wrote after conducting over 200 interviews with those connected to Trump while spending considerable time at the White House — says those working with the President largely believe he's not fit to lead the nation.

Steve Bannon, a former special adviser to Trump, provided some of the most controversial commentary in the book, including referring to a meeting involving Donald Trump Jr. and a group of Russians as "treasonous." Bannon later claimed he was referring to former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort.

Trump has slammed "Fire and Fury" as untrue and the book led to a rift between him and Bannon, who Trump says "lost his mind" after he was fired last year.

Trump said last week he plans to give "a strong look" to the libel laws in America."

"Our current libel laws are a sham and a disgrace, and do not represent American values or American fairness," Trump said. "We're going to take a very, very strong look at that. And I think what the American people want to see is fairness."
