What exactly is seedbox?

is it like Rapidshare or is that sometinhg else?

where can you buy seedbox if its not like rs?

a seedbox is a dedicated server that is used to upload and download torrents. seedboxes are usually purchased by uploaders and torrent communities to get the latest content at high speeds. once you have purchased and fully paid for the dedicated server / seedbox, the service provider will send you the server ip address, the server username and the password. hope this helped you to understand the term seedbox

They are getting quote cheap now, I use Extremeseed shared seedbox and get speeds that are not too bad.

In basic terms it's a computer which a remote torrent application on it and they are usually housed inside server farms or fast connection areas then you can download torrents onto that then download them directly off the computer via FTP or HTTP and other methods.
