I've seen a trick to raise the seed is to download from a public tracker and seed on a private one.

It might sounds like a dump question, but how to download from one tracker and seed on another one?

Is it as easy as changing the tracker in the client software?

If yes, how to make sure it's the exact same torrent?

Hi! Cross-seeding is pretty easy actually :D

1. For instance, just pick a film and search it both on the tracker on which you got some buffer( or a public one if you don't) and the one you wanna get a buffer on.

2. - the name & size of the torrent are the same on both trackers: download the file with the first one and once the download is finished, download the file from the second one.

-the name aren't the same but the size are: download from the first tracker, rename all the files as the same as on the other tracker and then dowload from it( check out each rar files: the size are to be the same).

I don't speak English fluently  , so if there is anything you don't get, just tell me.

It's not that clear. I'm not from France, but French is my first language. Posted Image

I know that it's not allowed to post in different language than English, so if you could PM me the instruction in French, it would be greatly appreciated. Posted Image

Thanks

I love cross seeding, it's amazing :D

It's the only way to keep a good ratio on most of the over seeded trackers.

All you have to do is make sure both trackers have the exact same file.

Download the one from the site you are not trying to boost your ratio on.

Then when it's finished, remove that torrent from your client and download the new torrent from the site for which you are trying to boost your ratio and direct it to the file so it can seed away.

Hope that helps.

I download on trackers where I got a good ratio, then i delete it out of my client and seed it on several other trackers.

How on several other trackers?

I simply use more than one client and that allows me to seed ONE torrent on more then ONE tracker at the same time :D

Cross seeding is though, on some of the more underground trackers not allowed because it in few cases mess up the downloads, so be careful and make sure that your tracker ALLOWS cross seeding.
