Thanks for the post @logitech this is interesting.  I wonder how those sources will amass collections, maintain security, keep games patched and remain off the radar etc.  I imagine invite only for good ones and lots of malware ridden free ones that are monitored.  Still, interesting concept.

A good idea for reseeding is popular freeleeches. I see so many that are posted on one tracker then a few minutes later the same one is posted on a different tracker. It's not hard to download on one and then recheck that same download with the torrent files from the other trackers. Easy upload credit for all of them with no obligation to seed for x amount of time.

If you decide to download the data from the second torrent I would make a copy of the file first just incase it messes up the original seed. 

Thanks again!  Ok, I'm the only seeder on Site B for one of them but will try the backup and start approach on the other.  I've only two trackers atm so cannot test with any others but will edit this thread when done to let you know how it went!

That worked thank you.  I tried another one and this time it checked out 100% but fails with a "unregistered torrent pass".  Meh.  I'll keep trying various ways, thank you again, let me give you some points!

Just to be safe I always add my second .torrent file in a paused state and use the force recheck option then start seeding after its been verified. 

 

DO NOT add both trackers to the same torrent in your client. This causes the client to report incorrect data and  will get you banned on both trackers. 

Thanks CelestiaRain, I gave that a shot and the check gets to 99.9% on the torrent from Site B.  When I check what's missing it's the .nfo file and 1mb of the first .rar file.  Interestingly, the original has both of these at 100%.  I forced the recheck again and it stops at the same point but the files are there at the source.  I tried a different torrent and the same thing happened, .nfo missing and 1mb missing from the first .rar file.  I noticed the torrent files on Site B have the tracker name appended to it e.g. Homeland.S07E01.XviD-Blah [Tracker].torrent.  Could that be anything to do with it?

Slighlty different sharing question... if I have a bunch of torrents downloaded from one tracker, can I seed them on another tracker?  If not, why wouldn't the tracker want more seeders?
