  1. Justin Bieber has apologised to fans for sharing Morgan Wallen's music after learning about his use of racial slurs. The Yummy hitmaker recently shared a screenshot of the country singer's album, Dangerous: The Double Album, to his Instagram story and wrote "Love this album". Shortly after, he removed the post and issued a statement. "I had no idea that the guy's music I posted was recently found saying racist comments, as you know I don't support or tolerate any sort of racism or discrimination. I had no idea, I sincerely apologize to anyone I offended," the 27-year-old began. "When I was a kid, I was incredibly ignorant and said some very hurtful racist jokes that clearly were not funny. I hurt a lot of people especially the Black people in my life but was fortunate enough to have had them educate me on the horrifying origin of the n-word. This brings those painful memories back up. I will always take ownership for my ignorance and my past because I know I am not that person." Bieber closed out his post by acknowledging that he has apologised for his previous remarks before, but wanted to bring it to light again to "educate people who may be ignorant to the topic of racism and how hurtful it is". Wallen was caught using the same racial slur referenced by Bieber in a video clip last month. Good Morning America host and former American footballer Michael Strahan interviewed the singer after the scandal and asked if he understood why using the word "makes Black people so upset". "I don't know how to put myself in their shoes because I'm not," Wallen responded. "But I do understand, especially when I say I'm using it playfully or whatever, ignorantly, I understand that that must sound, you know, like, 'He doesn't - he doesn't understand.'"

  3. Fans of He-Man have review-bombed Masters of the Universe: Revelation less than a day after its release. A continuation of the original series from the 1980s, Masters of the Universe: Revelation comes from the mind of cult filmmaker Kevin Smith that brings in an all-star cast to voice the iconic characters. Smith and his writer's room were given the task of making a series that would please fans of the original series, who now have grown up, and be accessible to new fans and new kids who have never heard of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. When the series was first announced, the general reaction was excitement given Smith's credentials and history being attached and associated with geek-friendly properties. However, after an interview where Smith explained the title and that it would be Teela's story, a certain subset of fans began to turn on the series as they saw it as sidestepping He-Man before the series even aired. Critical reaction to the series itself was extremely positive, with Smith noting it has been the best reviews he has gotten of his career since Clerks. However, as some may have anticipated, some fans review-bombed Masters of the Universe: Revelation in less than 24 hours after it premiered on Netflix. According to Rotten Tomatoes, the series currently has a 25% fan reaction, which is a sharp contrast to the critical reaction which is 94%. It is worth noting that there is no idea of how many of the profiles reporting negative reviews were created specifically to log in reviews for Masters of the Universes: Revelation. This marks a repeated trend in pop culture that has popped up quite a bit lately. From Ghostbusters to Star Wars: The Last Jedi, when a new addition to a long-established property decides to increase the role of a character of a different gender or change the race of a character, a subset of fandom takes this as a slight or attack against them. The flames are then fanned by outside parties, typically with the aims of pushing a political agenda that sees a sense of change as negative. A 2018 study showed that nearly half of The Last Jedi's negative reviews were political trolling. However, despite some segments of fans wanting to write the narrative as the series is a failure, the final result tends to favor the changes. Captain Marvel was review-bombed before it was released due to Brie Larson's casting, and despite the best efforts of those to change the narrative Captain Marvel went on to gross $1 billion worldwide. The Masters of the Universe brand faced a similar backlash, as an older group of fans attacked She-Ra and the Princesses of Power online, but the series forged its own path and found a new loyal set of fans that allows the material to remain relevant. Masters of the Universe: Revelation success will be determined not in a single day, but over time, and if it draws in a new generation of fans, then the show will have succeeded.
  4. Michelle Monaghan has joined Netflix’s upcoming psychological thriller series, Echoes, which will focus on the turbulent life of identical twin sisters who share a dangerous secret. The drama is created and written by Australian writer-director Vanessa Gazy (Eden). Brain Yorkey, who created Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, and Quinton Peeples of Runaways are also on board as executive producers as well as showrunners. Now, Collider has reported that Monaghan has been tapped to play the lead roles of the twins, Leni and Gina. The mystery thriller series will follow the twins who have secretly swapped their lives since childhood. Even as an adult, the duo have shared their two different homes, their husbands, as well as Leni’s daughter. But when it comes to temperament, both are very different. While Leni is content in her simple life with her childhood sweetheart and their daughter, Gina is a rebellious soul who ran off to Los Angeles and rose to fame by writing about the darker aspects of her childhood. Then one day, the sisters’ carefully constructed secret comes crashing down after one of them goes missing, leaving the other’s life in disarray. Monaghan’s expansive resume is bursting with a variety of diverse roles, be it Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Eagle Eye, Gone Baby Gone, Source Code, or the countless other films she has starred in her impressive career. Though Monaghan has been a part of many blockbuster films, including the hit Mission Impossible franchise, her roles have been majorly limited to supporting characters. But Netflix is undoubtedly aware that Monaghan’s acting prowess packs a hefty punch as while it canceled her thriller series, Messiah, just after one season, the streamer still picked her for the lead role in Echoes. With this upcoming limited series, comprising of seven episodes, the actress will once again have the chance of proving that she can single-handedly lead a project.
  5. Former Daredevil star, Vincent D'Onofrio, likes a tweet about recent rumors that he'll play Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin again in Hawkeye. Marvel Studios is now bringing Marvel Cinematic Universe content to the small screen on an almost weekly basis thanks to Disney+. WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and Loki have all finished this year already, and more is on the way in 2021. As the MCU continues to grow on multiple fronts, the calls for other parts of Marvel TV's previous shows to enter the universe only grow. Agent Carter's Jarvis actor previously appeared in Avengers: Endgame, but there are plenty of other characters fans want to see join the MCU properly. Agents of SHIELD's Quake (Chloe Bennet), Daredevil's Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), and Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter are among top choices from fans of characters who deserve to return. It is heavily rumored that Spider-Man: No Way Home will do just that and feature Charlie Cox as Daredevil. Fans also desperately want Vincent D'Onofrio to return as Wilson Fisk after his memorable portrayal of the villain in Daredevil. There have been plenty of rumors over the years that Vincent D'Onofrio could return in a future MCU project. However, nothing has happened so far, and legitimate sources of such information haven't mentioned that this is happening. Through it all, D'Onofrio has remained incredibly open to playing Kingpin again if he was given the chance. Now, the actor has liked a tweet referencing a rumor from Reddit that he'll appear in the Hawkeye Disney+ series starring Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld. Even though D'Onofrio liked the tweet referencing the latest Kingpin return rumor, that should not be taken as confirmation that he will be in Hawkeye. The thought of Kingpin appearing in the show is exciting without a doubt, but perhaps that is exactly why D'ONofrio is liking this tweet. If he truly is returning in Hawkeye for a surprise appearance, Marvel Studios likely would instruct him to avoid any such chatter. For instance, everyone involved in Spider-Man: No Way Home denies Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be in the movie, so it would be strange for D'Onofrio to not have similar guidelines to try and preserve the secret. All that said, it would be great to one day see D'Onofrio play Kingpin again in an MCU movie or show. This could happen without Marvel canonizing the Netflix shows too, thanks to Loki splitting the multiverse. D'Onofrio has long hoped to appear alongside Tom Holland's Spider-Man, so he could be a great, grounded villain to throw at the web-slinger in Spider-Man 4 after No Way Home's multiverse story. Meanwhile, Fisk could also be a more natural fit in the Hawkeye spinoff show for Echo, as he raised Maya Lopez. Now, fans will just have to wait and see if D'Onofrio ever plays Kingpin again.
  6. One of the stars of Ted Lasso has revealed what the eponymous coach’s homemade biscuits actually taste like, and it’s not exactly what fans might expect. The biscuits were a focal point of the Apple TV+ show’s first season, often used as a sort of olive branch from Ted to AFC Richmond owner, Rebecca Welton. The cookies continue to feature in season 2, which premiered on July 23, but what do they actually taste like? In many ways, Ted’s biscuits have become a symbol of the character’s overall persona – someone who is willing to go the extra mile in the interest of simple human connection. The series has become a surprise hit for Apple, largely because of its unique brand of unironic optimism, which begins with the positive energy of Ted himself. Ted Lasso certainly has its sillier moments as well, but it’s succeeded so far more on the merits of its character dynamics and writing than from its actual jokes. But what do Ted Lasso’s biscuits actually taste like? In a recent exclusive interview with Screen Rant, season 2 cast addition, Sarah Niles, revealed the answer. Niles said that, as a fan of shortbread biscuits (the particular type made by Ted in the show), she was excited when she learned that her character, a sports psychologist named Sharon, was going to eat some of Ted’s biscuits in the series. Unfortunately, the biscuits didn’t quite live up to Niles’ expectations. Read her full quote below: “Gosh, I like shortbread biscuits. I'm not gonna lie. And I saw the way Hannah [Waddingham, who plays Rebecca,] ate those biscuits. And I was like, "Mmm..." When I got the chance and I read in the script that I'm gonna eat these biscuits, I go, "Yeah, they're gonna be good." It was like cardboard. They were so bad. I said to Jason, "Did you make these?" He's like, "Hell no, I didn't make these biscuits." They're so bad. I'm glad that my character doesn't like sugar. Like many parts of the movie and TV industry, the truth about Ted Lasso’s biscuits proves it isn’t quite as glamorous as it looks from the outside. Of course, it makes sense that the biscuits wouldn’t be much more than, as Niles says, cardboard. The only important thing for the show is that they look real, and that the characters at AFC Richmond appear to love them – something that might be harder to sell as an actor than some fans may have thought. Fortunately, Ted’s biscuits seem to still be delicious in the context of the show, which is once again earning high praise after its season 2 premiere. With a growing cast of compelling characters and writing that’s just as sharp as season 1, at least so far, it seems like Apple TV+ finally has a true hit on their hands. And with lots more to come in season 2, it should be a fun ride. New episodes of Ted Lasso season 2 air every Friday on Apple TV+.
  7. The Office star, Jenna Fischer, details which two moments from filming the workplace sitcom made her break character and laugh the most. The Office follows lovable but incompetent branch manager, Michael Scott, as he runs a team of misfit salesmen, accountants, and customer service workers at the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin. The series ran for nine seasons and even though it was a hit at the time, it's arguably more popular now as fans have been able to rewatch the series on streaming platforms. In fact, Fischer and her costar Angela Kinsey have taken to rewatching the series as well. The two former The Office stars launched a podcast titled Office Ladies. Each week, they cover a different episode of The Office. They not only remind fans of what happened during the episode but share behind-the-scenes details. They discuss which moments were scripted, which were ad-libbed, how certain moments were filmed, and which scenes caused them to break character and burst out laughing. During a recent episode of Office Ladies, she dished with co-host Kinsey on one particular scene that made her break not once, but twice. The scene took place during season 5, episode 9 which was titled "Frame Toby." The episode had laughs from the start. In the opening scene, Toby returned to the office which led to Michael Scott's infamous "NO, GOD, PLEASE, NO! NO! NO! NOOOOO!" moment. However, this isn't the moment that caused Fischer to break. Her character Pam and Jim were getting ready to move into Jim's childhood home which he bought from his parents. In the bedroom, they stumbled upon a hideous clown painting that was somehow stuck to the wall. Fischer recalled that every time John Krasinski tried to lift the painting she "could not stop laughing." She chalked her uncontrollable laughter up to Krasinski's knack for physical comedy. Fischer revealed that it got to the point where they both were in "tears, tears, choking on our laughter." She confessed that this moment was the second hardest she had laughed on set. The painting was a joke that kept on giving in multiple ways. At the end of the scene, Fischer ad-libbed a line about the clown painting that caused them both to break yet again. Additionally, eagle-eyed fans can spot the clown painting return for the garage sale in season 7 episode 19. The clown painting may have not been a memorable joke for fans of The Office but it's a moment that Fischer clearly holds near to her heart. As for the moment that made her laugh most during filming, Fischer said it was the infamous "Dinner Party" episode when Jan broke Michael's TV. "Dinner Party," has been renowned by fans as one of the most iconic episodes of the series. Michael and his former boss, and then-girlfriend Jan host an extremely uncomfortable dinner party with couples Pam and Jim, Angela and Andy and the uninvited Dwight and his former nanny. Krasinki also previously named "Dinner Party" as his hardest episode to film because of how hard he was laughing while shooting. All in all, The Office has plenty of hilarious moments and Fischer's top moments are pretty on-point. For those who want to see if they can catch Fischer breaking, the series is currently available to stream on NBCUniversal's platform Peacock. The Office Ladies podcast rolls out new episodes every week and provides plenty more behind-the-scenes facts and discussion about the beloved series.
  8. This past week, excitement has been growing for 343 Industries to announce the first details about Halo Infinite's forthcoming technical test. It will be the start of the process ultimately leading to larger and larger Halo Infinite test flights and potentially even an open beta, before arriving at the game's launch later this year. Now 343 has dropped its Inside Infinite blog, confirming a variety of exciting details about its planned Halo Infinite technical preview. Perhaps the most important aspect of the Inside Infinite blog on the upcoming technical preview is the revelation that it will be focused on bots. Insiders who are invited to the Halo Infinite technical preview will be testing several key areas. The main focus will be on Arena gameplay vs. Bots, with the Bot Arena playlist offering 4 players vs. 4 bots on Halo Infinite's Arena maps. Three maps in specific are going to be used in this Bot Slayer playlist, with those being Bazaar, Recharge, and Live Fire. 343 explains that Bot gameplay will be a way for Insiders to familiarize themselves with Halo Infinite's gameplay. That said, 343 says that these Bots have "quirks" that should keep things interesting, which is a part of why they need testing. 343 plans to keep things fresh from day to day, too, with daily content plans that will change over the course of testing. All 343 is willing to say about this for now is that it will "start things off slow" but then later it plans to "crank things up" to provide some fun challenge and variety. However, the start date for said test has yet to be announced. 5v5 Bot Slayer isn't all that Halo Infinite Insiders will have access to, however. They'll also be able to try Halo Infinite's Academy Weapon Drills. 12 different weapons will be available in these Weapon Drills, including the BR 75, S7 Sniper, CQS48 Bulldog, Ravager, and more. Each Weapon Drill has four levels of difficulty featuring moving Bots, as well as a star rating system based on damage dealt. Needless to say, players will be able to prove their worth in the technical preview's leaderboards. Further testing will be done on Halo Infinite's menus and battle pass system, which will be open to players. Insiders invited to the Technical Preview will be granted some free in-game credits, dubbed cR, which they can use to purchase different battle passes and customizations available in the Halo Infinite shop. Again, the intent is to test these systems, but also have some fun. 343 wants to make it explicitly clear that this is a test. 343 feels like it's past the point of calling it an alpha, but that it isn't as robustly polished as it wants the game to be. As such, this test is referred to as a technical preview, instead, as the test's purpose is largely technical in nature. Player feedback will be a priority. For those Halo Insiders who don't receive an invite, whenever invites go out, there will be more tests in the future. Halo Infinite releases later this year on PC and Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
  9. The God of War series has been one of PlayStation’s most iconic franchises since it debuted in 2005, and the reboot in 2018 raised the bar for what could be accomplished by a dedicated and skilled game development team. Winning numerous video game awards, God of War 2018 also inspired the creativity of artists the world over, from God of War cosplayers to painters to tattoo artists. Even wrestlers have gotten in on the fun, with many in recent years cosplaying as their favorite video game characters for matches. Recently, wrestler Vertvixen sported a costume inspired by Kratos, which even included a toy version of the Ghost of Sparta’s signature Blades of Chaos, when she participated in the all-women Mission Pro Wrestling event titled "Keep 'Em Talkin'." On Reddit, a God of War fan going by the name of mitniftus shared images of their impressive leg sleeve tattoo, which took nearly two years to complete. Created by artist Evan Olin at a shop in Rhode Island, the sleeve encompasses the entirety of mitniftus’ left leg, from groin to ankle. The piece is composed of a montage of some of the game’s most memorable characters, as well as a portion of the cover art depicting Kratos as he stands in a boat holding the Leviathan Axe with a snow-covered mountain looming in the background. Above that, on the outer part of the leg, is a detailed depiction of Kratos’ face. On the inner leg is an image of the eye of Jörmungandr, the World Serpent; the dwarf merchant Brok; and an ogre enemy. On the back of the leg are the faces of Atreus, Kratos’ son, and a troll enemy. In the Reddit comments, mitniftus expresses his happiness with the completed work, stating, “I feel like I have a painting on my leg” and “I’m still amazed every time I look down.” But this incredibly detailed work of art isn’t the only homage mitniftus has paid to a favored game franchise. In the images, parts of mitniftus’ right leg can also be seen, covered with an equally elaborate sleeve of The Legend of Zelda artwork. Despite commenters’ requests, the Redditor hasn’t yet shared closer images of that tattoo. Another God of War fan also recently posted images of a leg tattoo on Reddit, this one of Mimir’s head on their calf. LiamThawne’s monochromatic tattoo features more stylized art than mitniftus’ leg sleeve, but is equally as detailed, with white highlighting and a bright touch of yellow to draw attention to the single glowing eye of the faerie. God of War is available on PS4 and PS5 via backward compatibility.
  10. The ongoing lawsuit surrounding Activision-Blizzard does not seem to deter the inspiration of fans around Overwatch’s current event, the Summer Games 2021. In fact, fans continue to create more content despite the online issues of the company, likely indicating that the Overwatch community is still very much alive. Recently, a player has created another Summer Games 2021-inspired artwork, but this time focusing on the support hero Moira. With no official release date announced for the game’s sequel Overwatch 2, Blizzard seems to be working hard to retain the FPS’s current player base. The company continues to host several seasonal events in Overwatch throughout the year, which normally cycles through different playable maps, and introduces new character skins that are in theme with the occasion. For Summer Games 2021, eight new character skins were introduced for Pharah, Ashe, Mei, Winston, Symmetra, Hanzo, Orisa, and Sigma. Given that Overwatch has 32 characters in its roster, it is not surprising that fans are inspired to create their own themed artwork, especially if they were not included in the event skins created by the developer. On Reddit, user EndZestyclose990 posted their original artwork of Overwatch support hero Moira. In the image, Moira is seen wearing a tennis ensemble, and levitating two tennis balls. Given that Moira’s main attacks are her Biotic Orbs, the artist was able to capture the idea in the outfit perfectly. The artist also retained Moira’s tubed backpack, but transformed it into a cooling system that looks perfect for beating the summer heat. To complete the whole look, Moira is also seen wearing below-the-knee tennis socks, shoes, arm bands, and a sun visor. Fans of Moira on the Reddit thread were very receptive to EndZestyclose990’s artwork. Some pointed out that the tennis outfit is very appropriate, given that Moira has a tennis intro in Overwatch. Replies also said that they preferred this artwork, and hoped that Blizzard will implement something like this soon, given how disappointed they were with the other Moira skins in Overwatch. With the Overwatch Summer Games 2021 in full swing, this artwork of Moira was not the only one shared by fans. Many created their own fan art of the currently implemented skins, while others have created summer-inspired outfits that would have been perfect to include in the current skin roster. Nevertheless, with still several months left in 2021, fans have other activities to look forward to in Overwatch. It is also likely the hope that their favorite playable characters will be put in the spotlight, and will have themed skins in the upcoming seasonal events. Overwatch is available for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
  11. News of Valve's handheld gaming system, the Steam Deck, has been a point of excitement in the gaming world, with the announcement coming largely as a surprise to gamers. With Valve's description of the Steam Deck as a portable Steam library, many have had questions as to exactly what the means, and in what capacity the Steam Deck will attempt to emulate Valve's Steam platform. New information from Valve seems to indicate that the Steam Deck could offer more than simply reproducing a person's Steam library on the device, instead possibly offering support for cartridge-style gaming. The Steam Deck is already offering impressive hardware, with the latest AMD CPU and GPU powering the handheld device as well as LPDDR5 memory, and a variety of different sizes of hard drive available day one. All of this hardware has meant that "everything that has been coming out this year has been running without issues" on the device, according to the Steam Deck's developers, and the device is being constructed in a manner that will likely futureproof it as hardware evolves. In an interview with IGN, Valve discussed the Steam Deck's capabilities, touching on its general hardware specs and comfortability. The Valve team took some time to discuss the concept of "dynamically removable steam libraries," noting that the developers have put in a lot of work to ensure that there is specific support for portable storage of games via SD cards. Currently SD cards can be used to increase the capacity of the Steam Deck, and with SD cards of up to 1TB being offered, the Steam Deck's potential storage capacity could be higher than its competitors'. Interestingly, Valve noted the possibility of "opportunities to build more software...to get to a point where you can preload games on an SD card with a different device," indicating that it could be possible to play games directly off an SD card or comparable storage unit without needing to download the games from Steam. Currently, everything is handled by the device itself, with SD cards acting as an external hard drive for downloaded games and players needing to install the games for them to run efficiently, with the developers noting some slight differences in performance when running games directly from the SD card. However, as specs for the Steam Deck have already changed once, it's possible they could be updated again. If players could utilize preloaded games on SD cards, then the Steam Deck could function like other handhelds, with a more plug-and-play feel to the device. There could be potential for physical media releases that function with the Steam Deck specifically, perhaps avoiding some of the performance issues associated with playing games directly from the SD card. In any case, Valve seems to be satisfied with the Steam Deck's performance, and with its bevvy of features seemingly casting a shadow over the Nintendo Switch OLED, gamers are ready to see what the Steam Deck can do. The Steam Deck will release in December of this year.
  12. The Last of Us fans are being given an opportunity to revisit the events of the original game again. With Naughty Dog's action-adventure video game receiving a television series treatment, fans have been curious to see its characters brought to live-action. Casting announcements for The Last of Us' HBO series are being revealed at a gradual pace as development continues. Many The Last of Us fans have stated their opinions on the announced casting choices with a mixture of concern and excitement. Fans may have already received their first look at a few characters from the series. An image from The Last of Us' production revealed a first look at Joel, Tommy, and Sarah in a vehicle. Fans of the original The Last of Us will instantly recognize this imagery from the beginning sequence of the game, where the family first encounters the cordyceps outbreak and attempts to flee. If the series is to capture what made the game so special for players, fans may anticipate iconic scenes like that being featured at some point. Until then, a fan has created custom character posters for the HBO series' starring roles. IconicNephilim has shared their interpretation of the HBO series' actors as their video game counterparts. Instead of reimagining the characters to fit how they may appear in live-action, IconicNephilim has simply adapted the actors to the appearances that Joel and Ellie have in The Last of Us. Pedro Pascal's Joel is seen wearing the character's green plaid shirt. Similarly, Bella Ramsay's Ellie is seen wearing the character's T-shirt and long-sleeve combination. Both characters are also shown wearing backpacks, which function as the player's inventory storage in-game. The Last of Us is cinematic and character-driven by portraying emotion through motion-capture and voicework throughout the game, and as a result it is not difficult to imagine how the game's most influential sequences may play out in the HBO series. For example, having backpacks included on each character poster may seem like a minor detail but individual melee instruments and larger firearms do not simply de-spawn or vanish when the player does not have it equipped. Rather, items are stored inside the backpack or attached to the character otherwise to sustain the player's immersion. IconicNephilim states that they also plan to produce custom character posters for other The Last of Us characters as they are announced. Pascal and Ramsay maintain physical appearances that are already similar to their video game counterparts, meaning that they could be superimposed as Joel and Ellie with little effort. Following Joel and Ellie, they plan to make character posters for Tommy and Tess. Tommy in particular has a much different appearance than the actor who will be portraying him, Gabriel Luna, so it will be interesting to see how IconicNephilim illustrates the actor. The Last of Us is available now on PS3 and PS4.
  13. Ed Sheeran takes out a fourth week at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart with Bad Habits, as the song scores another week of impressive chart sales. With 101,000 chart sales, including 11.4 million streams, Bad Habits outperforms his closest competition by more than double – The Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber’s Stay, which jumps three places to Number 2. Meanwhile, Heartbreak Anthem by Galantis, David Guetta and Little Mix rebounds three places to its previous peak of Number 3, while Black Magic by Jonasu charges up seven spots to Number 4 to land the German producer his first ever Top 10 single. KSI’s Holiday rebounds three places to 7 following the release of his new album All Over The Place, while three more tracks from the album enter the Top 40: No Time ft. Lil Durk, brand new at 24, Don’t Play with Anne-Marie & Digital Farm Animals, which re-enters at 33, and Gang Gang ft. Jay1 & Deno debuts at 40. Rounding off the Top 10, Becky Hill & David Guetta’s Remember travels up five to a new peak at Number 10 – Becky’s fourth Top 10 single (and first as the headline artist) and David Guetta’s 26th. Further down, Pop Smoke claims the highest new entry with Demeanor ft. Dua Lipa at 14. The song, which features on the late rapper’s second posthumous studio album is his eighth Top 40 and Dua’s 19th. Tones & I zooms ten places to 16 with Fly Away, and Rain Radio & DJ Craig Gorman’s Talk About rockets 19 spots to 21. Marshmello & Jonas Brothers climb six with Leave Before You Love Me (26), Doja Cat’s Ain’t S**t (29) lifts nine rungs, and Noizu’s Summer 91 (Looking Back) (32) returns to the Top 40 after zooming 60 places. Central Cee scores his fourth Top 40 single with Little Bit Of This, which debuts at Number 34. Finally, You For Me by Sigala & Rita Ora leaps 16 places to Number 37, becoming Sigala’s 12th Top 40 hit and Rita Ora’s 22nd, and Mabel’s Let Them Know rebounds into the Top 40 for a second time, landing at 39.
  14. Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin have finalised their divorce. The country singer and American footballer Mike split in April amid reports of his repeated infidelity, after previously giving their marriage another go when he admitted to being unfaithful before. And the One Tree Hill star took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal that their marriage had officially been terminated. Sharing a calm picture of a boat on the water, Jana wrote: "Taking a minute to reflect on set. Today has not been easy and I didn't know if I would even say anything. If I'm honest I had no idea how I would feel. Relieved? Sad? But I got the 'final' call that I'm officially divorced and the tears came." Admitting that she initially felt like a "failure" and that she'd "failed" her kids, Jana continued: "I had moments of anger that I never wanted this for my reality, for my kids. Let's just say it was all the feels but here's what I know....I didn't fail my kids. "I'm showing them a strong momma and I'll continue to do that and walk away knowing I did everything I could. This isn't the end...it's just the beginning of my story and I'm excited, hopeful, and ready to continue the healing so I can be stronger, and love deeper. Okay back to work. Love you all! We got this!" The former couple are parents to children Jolie Rae, five, and Jace Joseph, two.
  15. KSI celebrates his first ever chart-topper as his new album All Over The Place lands straight in at Number 1 on this week’s Official Albums Chart. The record opens with just over 34,000 chart sales to claim the top spot. 54% of his opening week total came from physical (CD, vinyl, cassette) sales, and is this week’s best-seller on vinyl, while the album’s 16 tracks notched up a total 20.9 million streams. All Over The Place’s Number 1 entry betters the Number 2 peak of KSI’s 2020 debut Dissimulation, and arrives after four Top 3 singles from the album: Really Love (3), Don’t Play (2), Patience (3), and Holiday (2). View KSI’s Official Chart history in full here. Celebrating the news, KSI told OfficialCharts.com: “Your boy did it! Finally got it, a Number 1 album - mad! Thank you to everyone who has supported, I wouldn’t have this without you. I’ve been doing music for so long and to finally get this is crazy. Official Charts Company. Number 1. I never thought I’d ever get one of these. I have no right – I’m a YouTuber! Thank you.” KSI will celebrate his Number 1 album at a one-off free gig today, taking place at 4pm in London. Tickets are available on a first come first served basis at Camden Assembly from 2pm. The show is brought to fans by The National Lottery and charity Music Venue Trust in a unique initiative to help revive the UK’s live music sector, with 300 live performances set to take place over the summer. Meanwhile, two more new releases land in this week’s Top 5: the second posthumous album from Pop Smoke Faith opens at Number 3, and John Mayer’s eighth studio record Sob Rock enters at Number 4. Further down, Foo Fighters’ Record Store Day release Hail Satin – recorded under their disco alter-ego Dee Gees – debuts at 17 and was the most popular album in independent record shops this week. On the ten-year anniversary of her death, Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black returns to the Top 40 at 36. Two more new releases land in this week’s Top 40: Busy Guy by Lincolnshire singer-songwriter Stephen Fretwell (37), and a deluxe edition of Tina Turner’s 1989 chart-topper Foreign Affair (38).
