Misconceptions::

It has been an interesting 24 hours and also an educational one for the staff here at fux0r. With a demise of Cheggit, we have seen the familiar and unfortunate panic of porn lovers, just like the year before when PureTNA and Emp bit the dust. One of the things we have noted is that there seems to be some misconception as to what fux0r is all about, granted some common ones like us being strictly a "scene" tracker or only permitting "Full DVDRips" can be put down to the people posting these facts not having an account, as it simply is not true. What has taken us aback is the members who say it is hard to keep a decent ratio, we find this perplexing. I mean .. really? If you find it hard to keep a ratio here, you are either unaware of how this site is structured, our goals, or you simply are not trying. So let me clarify a few things.

Clarification::

fux0r is not a race site, it is not about jumping on the latest torrents with the soul purpose of creating an awesome buffer. fux0r was built around a mindset of creating an online archive of adult content tailored to the needs of the userbase. Searchability and functionality is key to what we do here, the full site is designed to make you click more, search more and get lost in the archive. We understand that creating a site with this sort of ideology can lead to issues with snatches you make not getting much activity, hence why we have a truck load of bonus schemes and content.

We have designed the site in a few ways:

Bonus Schemes

Content Upload Bonus::

To help encourage members to contribute by uploading and reward existing content uploaders when they upload we have introduced a new bonus system. Each upload into each content category will result in a fixed amount being added to your side wide upload. It is as follows:

DVD Release: 500MB

Web Rip: 250MB

Classic Content: 750MB

High Def: 750MB

Packs: 1GB (The pack needs to have a size greater than 1GB, if below no bonus is received)

IMG Sets / Mags: 50MB

Anime: 500MB

IRC Bonus::

The way this works is also really simple, for every hour you idle in #fux0r on IRC.Corrupt-Net.ORG using your site nick, you will receive an additional 8MB towards your total upload. That's a potential 192MB per day and a whopping 1.2GB PER WEEK for doing nothing more than idling on IRC

Seed Bonus::

We have made alterations to the formula behind the seed bonus. They are as follows:

1 torrents = 1 MB per hour

5 torrents = 2.25 MB per hour

10 torrents = 3.15 MB per hour

20 torrents = 4.45 MB per hour

50 torrents = 7.05 MB per hour

100 torrents = 10 MB per hour

The changes have been made to ensure a certain level of seeding in regards to our content. The only way you can really benefit from this scheme is if you remain seeding the files you download, which in turn helps ensure the life span of our archive. All this is done without huge inflated ratios being gained, everything is moderate and fair.

Warning::

Regardless of your over all ratio, you must seed every torrent for a total time of at least 72 hours before deleting it if you do not reach a ratio of 1:1 first.
