People don't add likes very often on here, do they?
It would be nice to help others out with the rep and bonus points for good content, even if you don't need it personally.
Thanks for your contribution 🙂

Ok yes

This is really good. But I don't understand this part. "If your tracker requires a 1:1 ratio, smaller files is better. However, if your BT tracker requires a 0.5:1 ratio, the big file can help especially in your early quest of obtaining the initial sharing files".

Can you please make me understand how that would work? TIA!

It's not hard to get good upload ratio with a seedbox.

Downloading newly posted freeleeches is a guarantee. Or filling request (if uploader application is approved). Or finding something one tracker doesn't have and then reposting from another.

@cRuci4L This is what I have been actively doing to get my ratio up! I would suggest everyone that this strategy I really effective.

Not bad might want to add a few more details

* Seedbox: make sure you select one with UNLIMITED TRANSFERS nothing would suck more than paying for one finding out you have a 10GB a MONTH CAP on data transfers.

* ipfilter: I myself will block insanely fast seedbox ip's when I upload this way I usually end up with a 150% upload amount vs a 103% upload amount when uploading something new, then of course unblock after complete

Currently working with a 24/7 home server for seeding but it shows it's limit... I'm leaning towards the seedbox option even if it cost a little per year... I read a lot of good stuff bout it but still has to figure out how to manage my seeding automatically and sync my media server / seedbox on the same time :s

Probably the most important is that one shouldn't get into the situation to improve the ratio, especially when new on a private tracker. What is good way is to start only with freeleech torrents and seed them for as long as possible and build the gap to be comfortable to download other things. Take as many freeleech torrents as you can, seed them for as long as you can, gain bonus points (if any) and use them to boost your upload stats.
