Always read way more Marvel comics aside from anything Batman related.  TV is about even.  Movies I gotta go Marvel but anything animated DC wins easy imo.

The DC and Marvel characters I was most curious about were able to kill their enemies until the 1990s, and even in the 1997 movie with Arnold.
I am not in favor of death or killing, but as you know, some people are executed and the public is very happy with it. In other words, DC and Marvel characters imprison every enemy they defeat. He comes out the next month and destroys the city again.
In my opinion, these characters are the real enemies of the city because I see buildings, bridges and many things destroyed to save one person.

In general, Marvel movies are better, but when I was younger, I much preferred the DC superheroes more.

This question is a lot harder than it would have been pre-2908.

 

In terms of comics, can I say 2000AD?? If not, DC, I've always loved the darker a f more brutal tone/feel and feel it resembles my beloved heavy metal more.

However,since the MCU, I love the huge universe and connections that DC hasn't quite managed to find, and while the films may be far more optimistic than DC's, I like the lack of campness that they are missing compared to most DC releases, although you can't fault the Snyder films for this, or Arrow and some of the other series like Titans and Doom Patrol!

I used to enjoy the Marvel movies, but they've been dropping the ball so hard on the movie, the only redeeming thing for them has been the TV shows. However, DC under Gunn's leadership has been phenomenal from suicide Squad to Peacemaker to Superman.
