Over the past 10 years, gamers have been exploring the world of Skyrim. During these explorations, players have come across many rare and dangerous creatures in the game's open world. From strange beasts such as three-eyed trolls to the frightening humanoid-looking Hagravens, the wilderness often forces players to fend off hostile creatures. Despite a number of vicious beings found in the game, some are more dangerous than others, such as the dragon Alduin.

Amongst the many creatures found in the wild, dragons are some of the most threatening in Skyrim. In particular, the residents of Skyrim fear Alduin, also known as the World-Eater. One of the most powerful beings in existence, this dragon was prophesied by the Nords to bring about the end of the world. As the main villain found in the main quest, many players have encountered this fearsome beast. Recently, one fan decided to create a piece of art based on this iconic character.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as alqin2s_art showed off a picture of the villainous dragon Alduin. Using acrylic paint, they created a breathtaking image of the dragon soaring across the night sky. The artist utilized many different colors to paint an aurora in the sky, similar to the type found in several areas of Skyrim. Some of the other highlights of the design included a bright moon above the silhouette of the dragon, along with several pine trees near the edges of the painting. One of the most fascinating aspects of the picture was that the artist managed to take one of the most powerful and destructive creatures in Skyrim and paint it in a tranquil scene. In addition, alqin2s_art revealed that the entire process of painting the scene took around 5 hours.

This newest painting by alqin2s_art has become popular with the Skyrim community on Reddit. With nearly 11,000 upvotes, the consensus among fans is that the artist captured the look of the beast perfectly against the night sky. Many liked the creator’s idea to make the dragon silhouetted against the moon, while others commented that the blend of colors made the image look like a screenshot from the game.

Besides this new fan painting of Alduin, many other members of the Skyrim community have been making impressive pieces of fan art. Recently, another gamer remade Bleak Falls Barrow out of LEGOs. With so many more creatures and places to explore, it will be interesting to see what talented artists such as alqin2s_art decide to make next.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is available on PC, PS3, PS4, Switch, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
