For an internal HD I would defently say that the Black Series of Western Digital is a great value for your money.

If money doesn't matter, you'll find bunch great HDD out there, I already post on another post in another day. Just find that. But if you tighty in budget WD in good choice, the warranty is the long enough to cover your deadly risk.

I've had a seagate in a Lacie rugged box and it has just lived 3 years... I think WD are better. And it depends what you want to do

I'd avoid seagate too, but WD passports are hit or miss imho. If you're deciding between the two, though, go with WD.
