Now, since more and more of our members would like to have bigger avatars, and since we have lately thought about it as well, the time has come to incorporate this idea.

We have thought about some new sizes and dimensions, our first ideas for the new sizes were 160x140 and 150x250. Both dimensions look fine, but now, we would like to ask you for your opinions. Feel free to post your ideas for the new sizes of avatars. You can post the dimensions for which you think would be best. If no new dimensions come to your mind, you can just take a pick from these two.

I have not made this into a poll, because there are variables both in these two dimensions and in others, so it would be hard to incorporate this all into one poll.

I have seen in many forums 150 x 250 and they look really good but i really don't mind which size you go with.Just what everybody else thinks is a good size. Its nice that you guys are taking our thoughts and ideas in to consideration.

We have now increased the maximum avatar dimensions. The new maximum size is 150x250 since that was the majority size so far. We would appreciate feedback on this new size, and if the feedback is positive, it will stay permanent.

New maximum dimensions limit: 150x250

Allowed avatar image URL extensions: gif, jpg, jpeg, png

Max. file size for avatar uploads: 60K

It is recommended that members remotely upload image to services like: TinyPic or Image Shack.
