The biggest film awards outside Hollywood unveiled their winners at London's Royal Albert Hall.

With exactly two weeks to go until the Oscars, the biggest film awards outside of the U.S., the BAFTAs, took place on Sunday night.

Guillermo del Toro's The Shape of Water went into London's Royal Albert Hall with 12 nominations, the highest of any film, but it was Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri that emerged as the biggest victor, claiming five awards, including best film, best actress and best supporting actor. Del Toro had to make do with best director among The Shape of Water's three awards.

Daniel Kaluuya won the BAFTA Rising Star award early in the night, while Coco picked up the best animation film award. I Am Not Your Negro won best documentary, and The Handmaiden won best foreign-language film.
