The second major DLC pack for Call of Duty WWII is set to deploy on April 10 for PlayStation 4, including new maps, missions, zombies and -- here's a surprise -- even dogfighting.

If Call of Duty WWII still has you coming back for more, then you'll likely be excited to hear that the next DLC pack bolsters every aspect of the game outside of the single-player campaign. Potentially the star of the show, though, is the new War Mode mission called Operation Husky, which will introduce aerial dogfighting into the fray.

If you're not familiar with War Mode, that's the new competitive showdown that tasks two teams with fulfilling multiple objectives. If the defending team manages to shut the opposition down at the first stage of the battle, the whole shebang wraps up early. If you're on the attacking team, though, your goal is to pull off a series of operations that, if successful, push your opponents further back into their own territory and one step closer to defeat.

Operation Husky is the latest map for that mode, and it involves an allied invasion into Sicily. The Allied force is on a mission to retrieve some important intel located in the ports of Palermo and Naples. If they pull that off, their next step will be to transmit that intel to headquarters. Once that's done, it's time for players to take to the skies and clear the area of enemy planes in order to make way for allied bombers. The other team, of course, will try to prevent this from happening. We haven't seen any footage of the dogfighting in action, but we figure there will be a trailer for the new DLC, called "The War Machine," before it launches on PS4 come April 10. As has become common practice, the same content will pop up on Xbox One about a month later.

A trio of new maps will also be introduced to WWII in this next DLC, including Egypt, Dunkirk and V2, all of which sound pretty fantastic. The Egypt map will take the series to Northern Africa for the first time in order to wage war around the ruins of Giza. The map includes some decent open areas surrounding an enclosed temple.

Dunkirk -- also known as "Hey, you mean like the movie?" -- will drop players onto the beaches of the French seaside city of Dunkirk. There's a large, open beach featured on this map, with lots of tight interiors at the flanks.

Finally, there's V2, a German map that takes place at a rocket development test site. This is a fast, tight map full of blind corners and close quarters.

If you're in the mood for cooperative, zombie-slaying action, then you'll want to check out the latest chapter in that particular mode, "The Shadowed Throne." The quartet of heroes heads into the heart of Germany for this next adventure to wage war against the undead in the heart of a burning city seized by terror.
