Just a general question for the community:  In your experience, do most trackers ban the use of VPNs?  I was once temporarily banned from What.cd for accidentally leaving my VPN on while downloading, but explained the situation and my account was reïnstated.

I am hoping to get an Apollo or Redacted invite eventually and I think both of those site ban VPNs too.  The problem that I have with this is that ISPs collect (and can now sell and profit from) your personal data.  I find this morally abhorrent and do not want to ever do anything on the internet without a VPN.  In fact, I just joined this site yesterday and I'm not 100% on the rules when it is ok to have a VPN on (just while browsing, but not posting?) so I had to turn off my VPN just to create this post.
