WEST Coast midfielder Elliot Yeo could yet face some time on the sidelines after injuring his knee in his side’s 47-point win over Richmond on Sunday.

Yeo went down to the rooms in the first quarter after getting his leg caught in an awkward Josh Caddy tackle, returning in the second term with his right knee heavily strapped.

He finished the game in dominant fashion, picking up a game-high 29 disposals, 10 tackles, seven inside-50s, six tackles and a goal.

However he conceded there were fears he had done some more serious damage in the early tackle.

“Obviously I’ll have scans throughout the week and we’ll wait and see what the damage is,” Yeo told Fox Footy.

“But it didn’t feel too good when I got rolled over and it felt like it sort of caved in on me a little bit.

“It was a little bit sore to get up and get going so we’ll have to wait to see but glad that I got through the rest of the game.”
