Pusha T says producer ’40’ leaked the story about Drake’s child, not Kanye West

At the weekend, Drake suggested Kanye was responsible for the leak

Pusha T has said that the Drake “baby leak” story did not come from Kanye West, but from Drake’s producer, Noah “40” Shebib.

In a new interview released last weekend, Drake opened up about his ongoing argument with Pusha T and West. Drake detailed that West invited him to Wyoming to work on ‘Life Yourself’ before claiming that West did not reveal he had plans to release an album around the time of his own.

Drake then also claimed that Kanye asked him to be “completely transparent” about the release of his next album, ‘Scorpion’, despite not informing him about his own plans. Drake implied that it was West who revealed the information about his son to Pusha-T.

However, now Pusha T claims this wasn’t the case. Appearing on ‘The Joe Budden Podcast’, he said the information about Drake’s son came from Drake’s producer 40 and not West.

Pusha said: “It didn’t come from Kanye at all…40 is sleeping with a woman…he talks to her daily. Five, six hours a day…and ultimately speaks about how he’s disgruntled about certain things: Notoriety and things involving Drake, and his career, and so forth.”

He continued: “With that also came the fact that Drake has a child. With that also came the trip everybody took to go see the child and bring him gifts and all of this information. She divulged this information.”

Later on in the interview, Pusha said that he would have released ‘The Story of Adidon’ regardless of Drake’s diss track, ‘Duppy Freestyle’. Pusha additionally claimed that Drake put out a “bounty” of £100,000 for information on him.

Pusha also opened up about his relationship with West during their recording sessions earlier this year.

Following West’s visit to see Donald Trump at the White House and his controversial performance on SNL, where he spoke in favour of the president whilst wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ (MAGA) cap, the rapper has come under increased criticism. Previously, Pusha has said MAGA caps are this generation’s “Klan hood.”

Speaking to NME in September, Pusha said he was pleased about the reaction to his West-produced album ‘Daytona.’ He said: “The reception for ‘Daytona’ has been amazing. I gotta say that I’m really happy. I felt like I made the album of the year, and it’s feeling like people are receiving it as such.”
