Never used one for torrents or piracy in general. My coutry's laws allow downloading of pirated materials, only the uploading is punishable but it pretty much never happened for the average persons. The police used to raid data centers to shut down torrent trackers and ftp servers and to get to the big fishes but they don't do that anymore. I only used completely anonymous, logless VPNs for hacking big corps and gov sites.

I almost exclusively play World of Tanks since 2012, around 2 hours per day. I used to play alot of StarCraft II but nowadays I rarely do, maybe every couple of months for a few days.

Motorola, just like Nokia were once big but somehow forgot how to make great phones, got stuck in the past and now they are just trying to not die. I never had a Motorola phone, but the Razr was the coolest phone back in the days which I couldn't afford.

I completely agree with Xiaomi. Best value for money. Nobody can beat that currently. Well built, well priced phones are for the masses. Many people can't afford premium brands like Apple or Samsung and they also don't need the top tier hardware and extra functionalities for daily use. My Mi A1 is from 2017 and still perfectly suits my needs. I would rather save some money and spend it for something else my family actually needs. Here's something risky I would like to say: I hate Apple for making their products almost unrepairable and with planned obsolescence in mind.

Who would have thought... My friends, classmates and I played Doom when we were only 6-7 years old. I still remember running towards the demons with the chainsaw. Then we played Mortal Kombat, Carmageddon, Quake I, II and III, Unreal Tournament, GTA I, II and III, Mafia and we all grew up just fine. Many of us have families, good paying jobs and never had any aggressive behaviours. The politicians and parents who were raising their voices forgot one thing: maybe the kids have issues because of bad parenting.

In the past 1254 days I downloaded 7.57 TB, so that's about 6 GB daily, 180 GB monthly. Mostly TV episodes and some movies. Current session is still seeding alot of torrents and waiting to get good ratio.

Game of Thrones until the last season. Mr. Robot because of good acting by Rami Malek, good script, many twists. Realistic hacking depiction. The IT Crowd because of computers and hilarious british humour. A hidden gem. White Collar was fun to watch, always waiting for the next episode. Chuck, one of the funniest crime comedies. Peaky Blinders is just simply awesome: gangsters, Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy.

Lost an account due to inactivity on a 800k userbase private tracker (had to keep a low profile). So currently mostly RARBG, 1337x for movies and tv. Recently joined scenetime, downloaded a big free leech torrent and will seed it for a few months to get some good ratio.

Have Plex server on my NAS and I watch movies on either a 43" (soon 65") TV or on my PC. Only 1080p content so far. When I'll get a 4k TV in the next month I'll only download 4k HDR if available.

Using Xiaomi Mi A1. I prefer a pure Android OS. I only use my phone for calls (duh), navigation and tracking fitness stats from my watch or if I'm not at my PC and I'm bored for reading news. I don't have fb, instagram or any other social media app installed, I don't chat. For me the cheapest usable phone is the best.

Size is somewhat important for me, especially if I download something in a hurry. But generally I try to stick to 1080p 8-10 Mbps content. I have a 2 TB NAS and a 100 Mbps connection (waiting for 1 Gbps upgrade). Most of the times I just use SickChill and CouchPotato, I'm not in a hurry and I'll watch the downloaded content when I have time. I let it seed for 2-5 ratio, sometimes even 10+ then I delete it to free up space.

I either watch movies on my 43" TV or my 23" monitor if someones is sleeping in the house. I can clearly see the difference between 720p and 1080p so for me only 1080p content. For wife 720p is more than enough. In 1-2 months I'll buy a 4k TV with HDR and Dolby Vision so from that point only 4k content in HDR if available. @Utah there's no difference between mp4 and MKV. Both are only container formats, not codecs. MKV has more features, mp4 is more supported.

Samsung 43" J5500 (2015). It's alright but it's slow. Sometimes even changing the volume takes a few seconds. In 1-2 months I'll get a Sony XG95 or Hisense U8QF 65" after done with remodeling the living room.
