We have also enhanced our anti-replay security so now not just your most recent login session can download from our API. Finally, for all you Jackett fans we have disabled our captcha and replaced it with other security methods for an easier Jackett integration. The Jackett devs are still perfecting a few things but things should already be operational.

Binance Holdings Ltd. must stop offering services regulated in Singapore after a potential breach of local payment rules, adding to a mounting list of jurisdictions scrutinizing the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange. Binance may be in breach of the Payments Services Act for providing payment services to, and soliciting business from Singapore residents without an appropriate license, the Monetary Authority of Singapore said Thursday, in response to questions from Bloomberg. As Binance didn’t apply for a license under local law, the MAS has added Binance.com to the investor alert list, which warns consumers that Binance isn’t regulated or licensed to provide any payment services locally. The Singapore regulator’s warning marks the latest blow for Binance, which has grown quickly since its 2017 debut and doesn’t have a global headquarters. While Binance has also drawn scrutiny from regulators in the U.S., the U.K., Thailand, Malaysia and Japan, many crypto bulls say tougher frameworks are a sign of market maturity offering more protection for investors that could lure more money to digital assets.

Multinational investment giant Franklin Templeton Franklin Resources, Inc. (NYSE: BEN) appears to be getting serious about the crypto space. What Happened: A LinkedIn job posting on Thursday revealed that the asset manager is looking to hire a cryptocurrency trader and cryptocurrency research analyst to further its efforts to build a new investment unit around the emerging asset class. “We are looking for a Crypto Currency Trader to execute trades for several strategies using the largest, most liquid listed and tradable crypto assets,” stated Franklin Templeton, mentioning Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) and Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) as examples. The trader will also be responsible for developing and maintaining quantitative valuation models and building relationships with each protocol’s community of users, developers, traders, and DAOs. Meanwhile, Franklin’s crypto research analyst will perform fundamental research coverage of the largest, most liquid crypto assets and contribute to their factor-based analysis.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is investigating Uniswap Labs, the main developer behind one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Uniswap, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday https://www.wsj.com/articles/regulators-investigate-crypto-exchange-developer-uniswap-labs-11630666800?mod=latest_headlines, citing people familiar with the matter. Enforcement attorneys are looking for more information on how investors use Uniswap and the manner in which it is marketed, the report said. Uniswap did not immediately reply to a Reuters request for comment. Uniswap is a crypto marketplace for decentralized finance or DeFi developers, traders and liquidity providers. DeFi is an open network and works on a peer-to-peer system, where transactions are not routed through a centralized system such as a bank or a brokerage. Gensler in August had called on lawmakers to give the SEC more power to oversee DeFi platforms, which are not regulated in the United States.

The first scenario The current sell signal fakes out around the 47K area minor support, and is followed by a bullish reversal. This can be a pin bar or inside bar. Once the high of that candle is taken out, a new buy signal goes into effect. This will be considered an aggressive long since it would be into a major resistance level. Risk would be measured from the 47K support and what needs to happen next is a very strong and decisive move above 50K. IF a bearish reversal develops just after price breaks out, you must be quick to adjust you risk or take a small loss/gain etc. Another fake out off of a 50K break attempt could lead to too many longs exiting and a test of 44K. The second scenario The 47K minor support breaks and price pulls back into the 44K area support. A bullish reversal in this area offers much better reward/risk while staying within the boundaries of the broader bullish structure. It is a higher probability trade and I would rather wait to see if Bitcoin can provide that opportunity. I am evaluating this from the swing trade perspective. If you aren’t sure what that is, or just chasing profits because you are afraid of missing out, you really should not put any money to work at all. Bitcoin Attempts To Settle Above August Highs Bitcoin is currently trying to settle above the key resistance level at $50,000 while other cryptocurrencies are also moving higher. Ethereum continues its rally and is trying to get to the test of the $3,800 level. Dogecoin is trying to settle above $0.30 while XRP is testing resistance at $1.25. The crypto market mood is bullish which is not surprising as the world’s leading cryptocurrency managed to get back to recent highs. This is a very important moment for Bitcoin bulls as Bitcoin needs to settle above the $50,000 level to continue its upside move. Bitcoin has already made one serious attempt to settle above this level back in August but failed to develop sufficient upside momentum. In case Bitcoin fails to settle above $50,000, it may find itself under material pressure as some traders would prefer to take profits near highs while others would decide to bet against Bitcoin.
