Donating BON Points to other members

This is a mass pm to ALL Members so, it may not apply to the majority but for those who have been donating BON points to other members, this IS for you.

TVC does NOT APPROVE the gifting of BON points from one member to another UNLESS, it is in the normal site gifting such as a thank you on a torrent etc.

Lately there have been some very large amounts of BON points donated from one member to another and, allowing that this may have been in an effort to help a "struggling" member who has low ratio etc, this is NOT allowed.

If members have a low ratio and are unable to download, the main reason is that they are not seeding the torrents they have snatched and, if other members continue to assist them by donating BON points, this habit will continue.

This is a polite warning to let you know that we cannot continue to see this happening. On the old site there was no way to do this and was not something we had to deal with very often but, this new site has made it easier to move points around and that must stop please.

I am going to instruct staff that any member found to be donating points to another member will receive ONE warning and will be required to have the points returned from the member who you donated them to. If another donation of points continues then both members will have their downloading rights removed for 14 Days.

I am sorry to have to come down so hard on this but, we have many members who continue to abuse the system and those donating the points are assisting them. There are correct channels for those with low ratio to go through and they must use them.
