That Alert is not a new one. They may not have removed it because registrations are open only for two days. Leave the Invite code field blank, and it should work. At least it did for me. But I am not sure about the confirmation email.

The executive says they are waiting for approval. Can you specify a time for those who have registered how long it will take?

They sent activation code after PM but account did not activate even after entering activation code.  Now its closed

Well I didn't have any issues to register, I've just send the requested PM and everything went smooth.
