As the topic suggests, and if you like, please state why.

Sennheiser HD25s and always will.  Bomb proof and repairable. My current pair are the Amperior versions with the alloy cups. Very nice.

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro, I'm rather satisfied with this, but I'm about to buy an Hifiman HE-400i, and hope for the best.

Sennheiser HD-650 cans powered via a Xonar Essence STX soundcard.

The soundstage is exceptionally wide and the detail is warm and lush. This setup is capable of accurately reproducing the smallest sound.

If I had to choose closed cans, I'd definitely choose the Denon AH-D5000, it's on my xmas wishlist.

Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro. My old ones lasted me almost 10 years when the driver suddenly broke.

Works really well with an amp and EQ, treble is horrible without any of these, bass is good. Velour pads are comfy as hell too (they generally sit tighter than modern headphones because of the 20 years old design)

Very cheap Sony or my Apple ear buds.  I usually sue my home system or my car stereo to listen.  Recently purchased some Bose speakers for home.  Probably over-rated and over priced but nice and small with a pretty decent punch.  Good for surround sound movies.  Less effective for music.

Sennheiser HD 25s.

Were my dads originally but everything has been replaced multiple times now.

Cannot recommend coiled cable enough.

Audio-Technica ATH-M40

They are meant to be at a desk and not moved around and it has a very long cable which is nice.
