I use both of them. First of all I have 2 houses. So in my parent's house i have a dektop (windows xp), and in my house that i live alone i have a laptop (windows xp)

I mostly use my desktop when i am at home. but for being portable I use my tablet whichi enjoy more than a laptop.

I use both. Desktop has multiple disk arrays for storage and file serving in the local network, but I definitely need the mobility of a laptop as well (traveling a lot). I also consumes much less power than a full-blown desktop and is more than sufficient for most use cases. In fact, I find myself substitution both desktop/laptop in favor of my smartphone given that I can easily conduct 60% of the daily tasks from there (schedule, email, social, travel booking, check torrents etc)

Hello, here to use these hand laptop.

They are much more practical and transportable, there is no need to transfer files and many more. ^_^

I always preferred desktops to laptops. Laptops aren't bad just not as easy to use in bed as I would like...

I use laptop, but I've got hooked up external hdd, extra keyboard, mouse, speakers and, of course, a monitor :)
