I use a laptop 17" for a lot of my designing and or multimedia stuff. I also use my small ultra portable 11"6 for just casual surfing, you tube, or cloud stuff.

I use both. But I could use a new laptop. Mine's getting pretty old and slow.

Both, of course! I primarily use a desktop with Windows XP (I know, I know) for gaming and such. Then there's my MBP for photo editing and general on-the-go purposes when I still need computing power. I also have a small netbook with Windows 7 I got just to take to class since I'm a smaller girl and lugging the MBP around was killing me.

I use my laptop for all uses except utorrent. I have my quad core desktop loaded with 4TB for all my torrenting needs. :)

I have changed to desktop replacement laptops as proper desktops are just too cumbersome - while a laptop you just unplug, close the screen and you're mobile... :)

I have a desktop and use it for everything, though I am saving for a laptop and hopefully I can replace my desktop.

I primarily use my desktop because my laptop is actually rather old so I don't use it very often. Although, when I end up traveling it's always there for me :) .
