I prefer PC for first-person games and shooters. Prefer console (controller) for third-person games like platformers.

Honestly, I would say the 2, because it doesn't have one better than another. Personally use the console with friends and PC for hardcore gaming.

PC all the way cause you can upgrade components, games are truly backwards compatible, you can mod existing games to enhance the experience and you can emulate other consoles on a pc (like playing wii u games in 4K LIKE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN)

I was always too broke to do PC. Now the next gen consoles are basically PCs so I am going to stick with my Xbox.

Console isn't cheap and a PC can be used for many other things and the experience is good enough, so I prefer PC too.

PC for the FPS, Graphics, Response Times and Freedom

Console for the feel, exclusive games, ability to run games smoothly for the hardware that is inside, PS Voice Chat.

Fun Fact: (Apparently the PS chat/messaging was so secure that the government built a supercomputer comprised of a like hundred PS3s, lol! Keep your PS3s so that you can stay off the radar and if you need to communicate.

Honestly, as games are starting to become Cross Platform, the argument for which is better (i.e. PC or Console) will become obsolete. It is a matter of preference and because they both have advantages and disadvantages, I believe they can both play in the same ring.
