  6. With help from 'Scrubs' creator Bill Lawrence, Jason Sudeikis brings his NBC Sports promo character to Apple TV+ in a fish-out-of-water/underdog sports comedy. Like so many underdog sports stories, Apple TV+'s new half-hour comedy Ted Lasso is primarily a reexamination of "winning." Is there victory in self-improvement? In coming together as a team? In uniting a disconsolate fanbase? Absolutely! To some degree, reviewing Ted Lasso is, for me, a reexamination of what defines a "successful" comedy. I laughed very rarely while watching — a minor problem especially in the first two episodes, which feel more punchline-driven than the rest of the show. But isn't there success in generating affection for a large cast? In stirring up smiles and swells of emotion? In finding yourself truly invested in both characters and the show's central sporting franchise after 10 half-hour episodes? Absolutely. Based on a character created for a series of NBC Sports Premiere League soccer promos, Ted Lasso was adapted for TV by star Jason Sudeikis and Scrubs mastermind Bill Lawrence. It's the story of boundlessly enthusiastic American college football coach Ted Lasso (Sudeikis) who, fresh off a Division II championship at Wichita State — home, in real life, to no football team — is hired to lead a generally mediocre Premiere League soccer team, AFC Richmond. The original promo character was defined by his proud ignorance of all things soccer and, indeed, the series version is also oblivious on nuances of the game, like the offsides rule, as well as rudimentary elements. (And that's before you get to the myriad words that are different in British English and American.) But Ted and his coaching companion Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt, part of the show's development team) are eager to learn. Now why, you might ask, would somebody so unqualified be hired for what is, in England, an extremely high-profile position, one subject to constant and often hostile media scrutiny? Well, the team's owner (Hannah Waddingham's Rebecca) is in the middle of a noxious divorce, and her philandering husband (Anthony Head in mustache-twirling guest turn) loves AFC Richmond more than anything — so Rebecca has decided to destroy the team, starting at the top. If that causes you to go, "Man, that sounds a lot like Major League!" and then you look at icy blonde Waddingham (nearly unrecognizable as the "Shame!" nun from Game of Thrones) and say, "Man, she looks a lot like Margaret Whitton from Major League," these things aren't unintentional. Ted Lasso is a series that's full of love for underdog sports tales, and as you look across the show's myriad supporting characters — including Brett Goldstein as aging former star Roy Kent, Phil Dunster as young hotshot Jamie Tartt, Nick Mohammed as overlooked team attendant Nathan and Juno Temple as Jamie's D-list celebrity ("I'm sorta famous for being almost famous") girlfriend Keeley — you'll probably be able to spot counterparts and comparisons for them in other sports films and shows. A lot of the fun of Ted Lasso is seeing how it utilizes familiar archetypes and tropes, and when it decides to play away from them. The greatest asset that Ted Lasso has is duration: 10 episodes allow the series to dig pleasantly deep into Rebecca's psychology, keeping her from becoming just a stock villain, and does the same for Keeley, who's much more than a standard Page 3 bimbo. Waddingham and Temple's performances and the relationship between their two characters became one of my favorite surprising parts of the show. If the plot of Ted Lasso surely could have unfolded in a 90-minute feature, the arcs for Roy, Jamie and Nathan are much more believable in this space and format. Ted Lasso himself ends up being a tough but fascinating character because of Sudeikis and Lawrence's decision to have his defining characteristic be optimism. It's amusing how many of the punchlines from the NBC Sports shorts make it into the series, but how differently they play when the motivation for the character is an earnest excitement to make the most of a new adventure, rather than a vaguely jingoistic ignorance. This extrapolation of Ted Lasso lets Sudeikis very effectively play sweetness and vulnerability, even if the results are less outright amusing. The choice to adapt the character in a way that leads with his humanity at the expense of laughs is probably smart for sustainability (though the success of Brockmire as a similar sketch-to-series expansion proves that it's possible to do both). The first couple of episodes lean probably too heavily into "Two countries separated by a separate language" gags built around things Ted doesn't know about his new home and his new sport. As the show progresses, the writers settle into a rhythm that lets the fish-out-of-water humor feel less forced, making it easier to concentrate on all of the show's other pleasures — from Marcus Mumford's distinctive music to the steady developing of the AFC Richmond fanbase and some of the team's secondary players. Even if the show's ability to capture on-field action is a little hit-or-miss, by the end of 10 episodes, I was getting misty over the team's results and over the journeys of several characters. That, ultimately, means more to me than whether or not I'd qualify Ted Lasso as "hilarious." A little big-hearted sporting hopefulness might be more important at this particular moment. Stars: Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster and Nick Mohammed Created By: Jason Sudeikis and Bill Lawrence Episodes premiere Fridays on Apple TV+ starting with the first three on August 14.
  7. The director's Sikelia Productions will develop projects for the streaming service. Martin Scorsese is formalizing his relationship with Apple. The Oscar-winning director and producer's Sikelia Productions has signed a first-look film and TV deal with the tech giant. Under the multi-year deal, Scorsese will develop film and TV projects for Apple's TV+ streaming platform. The deal comes as Scorsese is working on feature film Killers of the Flower Moon, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, for Apple. It's his second straight feature made for a streaming outlet, following The Irishman on Netflix. Scorsese formed Sikelia Productions in 2003, and the company has produced all of the auteur's projects since then, including features The Irishman, Silence, The Wolf of Wall Street and The Departed, documentaries The 50 Year Argument and Shine a Light and HBO series Boardwalk Empire and Vinyl, among others. Apple has struck deals with a number of studios and production companies, among them DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson's Appian Way, Idris Elba's Green Door Pictures, Ridley Scott's Scott Free Productions and A24 and Imagine Documentaries. The iPhone maker also has kids' content deals with Sesame Workshop and Peanuts. As it grows its streaming business, Apple has also signed individual deals with the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Alfonso Cuaron, Julia-Louis Dreyfus, Justin Lin, The Morning Show's Kerry Ehrin, Little America's Lee Eisenberg and Sharon Horgan.

  12. MG Premium has requested three new DMCA subpoenas targeting the operators and uploaders of video hosting sites Tapecontent.net, Netu.tv and Gounlimited.to. Pornhub's sister company requests information from Cloudflare in the hope of identfiying those who share its copyrighted material without permission. The online porn industry is rather diverse but there is only one company leading the charge – Mindgeek. The company, formerly known as Manwin, owns one of the most visited adult websites, Pornhub, and is also the driving force behind YouPorn, Redtube, Tube8, Xtube, and dozens of other sites. Many of these tube sites became big by offering access to a wide variety of content, some of it posted without permission. However, that doesn’t mean that Mindgeek is turning a blind eye to pirates. On the contrary. Mindgeek’s imperium also includes companies that create content. MG Premium, for example, which owns thousands of copyrighted adult videos, is the driving force behind popular brands such as Brazzers and Digital Playground. These videos are often pirated and shared through external sites, which is a problem for the company. To address this issue, Mindgeek’s daughter company regularly goes to court. Last week, it requested three DMCA subpoenas targeting the video-hosting services Tapecontent.net, Netu.tv and Gounlimited.to. The proposed subpoenas are not directed at these sites but at Cloudflare, which acts as a third-party intermediary. MG Premium hopes that the CDN provider can help to expose the personal details of the people who shared its videos, providing hundreds of URLs that point to infringing content. Specifically, MG Premium wants Cloudflare to hand over all documents and account records that can identify persons or entities that caused the infringements or who unlawfully uploaded the content. This includes names, email addresses, IP addresses, user history, telephone numbers, and any other identifying information. https://torrentfreak.com/images/documents-produced.jpg While Cloudflare generally doesn’t know who uploaders at external sites are, the request appears to be broad enough to also cover the site owners themselves. MG Premium may want to use that information for possible follow-up legal actions. “The purpose of the DMCA Subpoena is to obtain information sufficient to identify alleged infringers who, without authorization from MG, posted material to the webpage GoUnlimited.to, which infringed copyrights held by MG. The information received as a result of the Subpoena will only be used by MG to protect its rights under Title 17 of the United States Code,” MG Premium informs the court. According to data from SimilarWeb the three sites all have a decent audience. With over 23 million monthly visits, Gounlimited.to is the biggest target. Court records don’t indicate that the subpoenas have been granted but that’s generally not the main stumbling block. DMCA subpoenas only require a stamp from the court clerk. Whether Cloudflare has any information that can help MG Premium is another question. This is not the first time that the company has gone after sites where pirated content is posted and has requested similar subpoenas in the past. In addition, MG Premium has gone after individual BitTorrent users, requesting financial settlements. Earlier this year the company also took direct action against two allegedly pirating sites. The company filed a lawsuit against YesPornPlease and VShare.io in a Washington federal court, after which both sites disappeared. — Here are copies of the DMCA subpoena requests targeting Tapecontent.net, Netu.tv and Gounlimited.to respectively. 14. The Chris Rock-led season is set to resume production five months after stopping work due to the coronavirus pandemic. Five months after it was originally slated to premiere, Fargo's fourth season will come to FX in September. The anthology series from creator and showrunner Noah Hawley, like hundreds of other productions, shut down in March as the coronavirus pandemic spread in the United States. The Chris Rock-led season had two episodes left to shoot in Chicago prior to the shutdown. With production on the remaining episodes set to pick up again later this month, FX has set a premiere date for the season: Fargo will debut at 10 p.m. Sept. 27 with two episodes and air weekly thereafter. The season will run 11 episodes, up from an initial count of 10. The fourth season is set in Kansas City in 1950, where& two criminal syndicates fighting for a piece of the American dream have struck an uneasy peace. Together, they control an alternate economy of exploitation, graft and drugs. To cement their truce, Loy Cannon (Rock), the head of the African American crime family, trades his youngest son, Satchel (Rodney Jones), to his enemy Donatello Fadda (Tommaso Ragno), the head of the Italian mafia. In return, Donatello surrenders his youngest son, Zero (Jameson Braccioforte), to Loy. The cast for the fourth season also includes Jason Schwartzman, Salvatore Esposito, Ben Whishaw, Jessie Buckley, Jack Huston, E’myri Crutchfield, Andrew Bird, Anji White, Gaetano Bruno, Sean Fortunato, Jeremie Harris, Corey Hendrix, Matthew Elam, James Vincent Meredith, Francesco Acquaroli, Karen Aldridge, Kelsey Asbille, Rodney Jones, Jameson Braccioforte, Tommaso Ragno, Glynn Turman and Timothy Olyphant. Whishaw's character is named Patrick "Rabbi" Milligan — suggesting a possible connection to the second season of the series, which featured Kansas City mob hitman Mike Milligan (Bokeem Woodbine). Hawley, who also directed the first two episodes of season four, executive produces with Warren Littlefield of The Littlefield Company and Joel and Ethan Coen. Fargo comes from MGM Television and FX Productions.
  15. Acorn's charming Brit-com explores what happens when a man with two families suddenly dies. It's a regrettable fact of life that secret families are made for television. The lies, the devastation, the sexual insatiability — this kind of filial agony just naturally lends itself to entertainment. We tend to think of mistresses, polygamy, hush-hush paternity and out-of-wedlock children as high-concept fodder for telenovelas. Yet, a number of TV series in the past few years have tackled real-life scandals involving creepy men who systemized their siring, including PBS' gripping bio-thriller Mrs. Wilson and Fox's discomfiting sitcom Almost Family. Acorn's imported British comedy The Other One, also inspired by a true story of fraudulent fatherhood and long-lost siblings, charmingly finds the middle ground between dense pathos and glib laughs. The show is a rare gem. To be fair, a cast as magnetic as The Other One's would have likely won me over regardless of the intriguing conceit. Ellie White, best known to American audiences as Princess Beatrice of York on Netflix's royal satire The Windsors, stars as Cathy Walcott, a tightly-wound 28-year-old whose world collapses when she learns her deceased dad also parented a completely separate household. To add insult to injury, posho Cathy and her imperious mom, Tess (The Thick of It's Rebecca Front), are shocked to find that Colin's longtime lover and adult daughter are a pair of gaudy, chavvy eccentrics lacking the refinement of their set. To add indignity to insult, he named both daughters "Catherine Walcott" (to simplify his treachery, of course). Most showrunners might have used this conceit to stage comical class warfare between the families, but writers Holly Walsh (Motherland, Dead Boss) and Pippa Brown (Bad Education) instead nurture a budding friendship between the half-sisters. Cathy relies on exuberant Cat (Misfits' breakout Lauren Socha) to help ease her neurotic dogmatism, while Cat bonds with Cathy over the loss of the beloved dad who rarely had time for his "other" daughter. Their adventures include connecting over pop music, debating where to rest Colin's ashes and preparing for Cathy's impending wedding to drippy, micro-cheating Marcus (Amit Shah). This blossoming kinship becomes the steady heartbeat of the 7-episode season. The Other One, which originally aired on BBC One, works best as a blithe character study with underlying compassion. Where Cathy is a staid and dry-humored rule-follower who speaks with clipped, private school elocution, Cat is flashy and funky, her heart as open as her chatty, Midlands-accented gob. Where Cathy's pathological passive-aggression regularly leads to self-sabotage, Cat's candor and affectionate nature invites joy into her life (all symbolized by Cathy's tailored blazers and Cat's thick false eyelashes). White and Socha are each luminous comedians in their own right, both standouts from their previous TV work, and together they share buoyant chemistry as a classic straight man/banana man duo. White excels at prim folly, Socha leans into confident crassness and both actors make excellent use of the British obscenity, "Balls!" Cathy and Cat's mums, however, maintain understandable distance. Siobhan Finnernan (Downton Abbey's formidable lady's maid O'Brien) delights as Cat's vaping, agoraphobic mom Marylin, a lurid 50-something eccentric who grieves over the loss of her carnal soul mate… and too often reminisces about sex with Colin in front of his dismayed daughters. Avenue 5's Rebecca Front plays Colin's embittered widow, whose denial sweeps her into epic distraction-seeking. Boiling with enmity, Tess leaps into desperate revenge hook-ups and arranging the starchy wedding Cathy wants little to do with at all. (The show's cringiest scenes feature her failing to seduce her ride-share driver and modeling her daughter's wedding dress.) Tess does not shine until the last two episodes, when she sheds the caricature of a scorned wife and returns to earth from the sitcom-y stratosphere. Out of all the characters, warmhearted Marilyn oddly feels the most realistic to me, perhaps because I've met people exactly like her — home-bound, empathic, clinically anxious women who long for the days of their erotic peak. Finnernan exudes such down-to-earth verve and bonhomie, such slinky sexuality, you understand why a toff like Colin felt he could unleash his groovier side around her. It's the same mechanism that draws Cathy to both women. They're fun. While watching, I sometimes wondered why the show automatically identifies with Cathy first and foremost. Why must we view this situation through the eyes of the upper-middle class, legally "legitimate" child while working-class Cat remains the supporting, exoticized "other" with few storylines of her own? As canny as The Other One is, and as much as I adore Socha's performance, I can't help but feel the writers are actually reinforcing the class distinctions between them by positioning Cathy's as the primary psyche to unravel. Cat, and Socha, deserve more. That being said, much of the show's humor derives from Cathy and Tess' stiffness. When Cat muses over skipping school back in the day, Cathy genuinely balks, "Why would you want to miss lessons?!" When Cat greets her sister for the first time, she asks her if she ever goes by Catherine. "I always thought 'Cathy' was a bit frumpy," she chirps. "But it works for you!" One of my favorite episodes sees Cathy dragging her sister to the woods for a drab camping bachelorette party that also includes her garrulous Aunt Dawn (guest star Caroline Quentin, a comedic knock-out). Cathy may be privileged, but she's also clueless. A swot, a prat, a slut and a bitch all lost something precious to them. I like seeing them gain each other. Cast: Ellie White, Lauren Socha, Siobhan Finneran, Rebecca Front, Amit Shah, Caroline Quentin Written by: Holly Walsh and Pippa Brown Premieres: Monday, August 10th (Acorn)
  16. Jared Leto is attached to star in the third installment of the Disney franchise. The Tron franchise is back on the grid. Garth Davis, the filmmaker known for the Oscar-nominated Lion, is attached to direct a Tron sequel for Disney, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Jared Leto has been attached to the long-gestating project since 2017. The first Tron movie debuted in 1982 and starred Jeff Bridges as a video game designer who is transported inside his own computer program. Though Tron was not a hit, it developed a cult following and is fondly remembered for its groundbreaking special effects and imaginative story. In 2010 came the sequel, Tron: Legacy, which once again starred Bridges and featured original star Bruce Boxleitner along with series newcomers Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde. "I’m struck with such gratitude for the opportunity to bring this movie to life, especially as both the original video game and the film affected me so deeply as a young child," Leto wrote on Instagram Monday. "The fact that I get to be a part of this new chapter is mind-blowing." Legacy, from director Joseph Kosinski, made $400 million worldwide, enough to generate interest in a sequel from Disney, which at one time considered making a Tron a streaming show from filmmaker John Ridley. Jesse Wigutow wrote the latest draft of the third Tron movie, and Leto will produce with Justin Springer and Emma Ludbrook. Davis, who is repped by UTA, also directed the 2018 feature Mary Magdalene as well as episodes of Top of the Lake.
  17. The '6 Underground' actor will star opposite Diego Luna in the 'Star Wars' spinoff. Adria Arjona is headed to the Star Wars Galaxy and will star in Disney+'s upcoming Rogue One prequel. Arjona, known for Netflix's 6 Underground and who has an upcoming role in Jared Leto's comic book movie Morbius, will star opposite Rogue One's Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk. Filmmaker Tony Gilroy, who oversaw reshoots for the 2016 film, is attached to write and do directing work on the series, which has The Americans' Stephen Schiff set as showrunner. The untitled Cassian Andor series is one of several live-action TV projects Lucasfilm has for Disney+, including Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian, which launches season two in October, as well as an Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor. Rogue One earned more than $1 billion at the box office and is considered a high water mark among the Disney era of Star Wars films so far.
  18. Gordon Gray, who last made the Ben Affleck-starring drama 'The Way Back,' is producing. Zac Efron is getting in touch with his paternal side. Efron is on board to star in Three Men and a Baby, a remake of the 1987 comedy being made by Disney. The remake is intended for Disney+ with Disney's live-action division running point. Gordon Gray, best known for his inspirational sports dramas such as The Rookie and this year's Ben Affleck-starring The Way Back, is producing. Initially a remake of a French film, Three Men brought together a trio of 1980s stars - Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson - as New York bachelors who find themselves caring, and subsequently, falling for, an infant. Drug dealers who threatened the child also figured into the plot. The movie was directed by Leonard Nimoy and proved to be a major hit, becoming the first live-action Disney film to cross the $100 million mark domestically. It was followed by Three Men and a Little Lady in 1990 that reunited the cast but not Nimoy. Will Reichel wrote the script for the remake. It is unclear how the material will be updated. A search for a director is underway. Efron’s boarding of Three Men marks a return to Disney for the actor, who became a star thanks for his breakout turns in the High School Musical movies over a decade ago. He has spent that time in a wide-range of movies and last year earned raves for starring in indie Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, in which he portrayed serial killer Ted Bundy, and opposite Matthew McConaughey in comedy The Beach Bum. He can currently be seen in Down to Earth, a documentary series he also executive produced via his Ninjas Runnin Wild Productions and released on Netflix in July. The show features Efron roaming the world exploring sustainability.
  19. The Bell Digital Cinema platform for general public viewing of TIFF-selected titles in September will also be geo-blocked for Canada. The Toronto Film Festival has unveiled plans for drive-in and "open air cinema" screenings on the city's waterfront to offset reduced capacity at its only two indoor movie theaters set for the Sept. 10-19 event. And TIFF's Bell Digital Cinema platform for general public screening of movies selected for the 2020 edition will be geo-blocked for Canada, organizers said on Monday. TIFF co-heads Cameron Bailey and Joana Vicente, having already signaled a hybrid offering of digital and in-person screenings for their September event, revealed plans to show the public around 50 programmed films at five locations in the city. These include the TIFF Bell Lightbox, the festival's downtown headquarters on King Street, and the Isabel Bader Theater on Charles Street, near Yorkville. As the prestigious Canadian festival heads outdoors for socially distant film viewing amid the coronavirus pandemic, TIFF will also show movies at the Skyline Drive-In and the Lakeside Drive-In at Ontario Place, on the city's Lake Ontario waterfront, and at the West Island Open Air Cinema, also at Ontario Place. "At the drive-ins and open-air cinema, audiences can expect the same high-quality viewing experience as in past years," the festival said in a statement. At the same time, the five venues will be subject to reduced seating capacity to comply with local public health restrictions. Elsewhere, TIFF's online plans include industry conference sessions, networking events and digital showcases of film titles by national cinema agencies. Planning for a first-time online industry conference follows the physical edition of the Toronto Film Festival being sharply reduced in size and scope due to the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, 2020 TIFF audiences will not, as in earlier years, view movies at red carpet venues like the Elgin Theater, the Princess of Wales Theater and the Ryerson Theater, in addition to in-person press and industry screenings at Cineplex's Scotiabank Theater. As Toronto allows ordinary Canadians in their homes to instead view fest titles using Chromecast and a dedicated TIFF digital app, organizers said they will use anti-piracy measures, including forensic watermarking and visible watermarking, to protect the copyright of film titles, including studio fare, against piracy. The 2020 pandemic-era edition will also see the same ticket pricing as last year, even though Hollywood A-list talent will not physically walk red carpets or onto movie theater stages at this year's socially distant event. Pre-tax screening tickets for the indoor and Bell Digital Cinema screenings will range from $19.00 to $26.00, and drive-in screenings are to cost from $49.00 to $69.00, depending on the number of people in cars. And open air cinema screenings will cost two people $38.00 for a "lawn pod."
  20. Android app Evil King Media (EKM), which provided free access to 'pirate' IPTV streams, VOD content and music has been targeted by Sky. Following the forced removal of the software from Github after several other takedowns filed with Google, the developer says EKM should be deleted. As reported last week, the pirate IPTV market is now big business, with US consumers alone now estimated to spend a cool one billion dollars a year on illicit streaming subscriptions. But while large volumes of pirates are happy to spend around $10 per month to have otherwise premium channels delivered to their home at a fraction of market rates, others still prefer to pay nothing for the privilege. For them, there are many free Android-based apps available for download and while they don’t always provide the most reliable experience, people have few complaints when considering the price. One such app that’s been operating within the free niche for some time now is Evil King Media (EKM). While it doesn’t have a Netflix-quality interface, the live TV channels, VOD content, and music on offer have ensured its popularity and with that, the attention of rightsholders. https://torrentfreak.com/images/ekm-v4.2-build04.jpeg Late last month, via anti-piracy company Kopjra, broadcaster Sky filed a DMCA complaint with Github, noting that EKM’s repo was providing software enabling users to obtain Sky TV channels in breach of its exclusive rights. “We are writing in the name and on behalf of Sky Italia S.r.l., the exclusive owner of distribution and exploitation rights of the Sky Italia channels,” the notice begins. “This IPTV App (EKM 4.2) includes illegal and unauthorized Pay Tv Sky Italia channels: Sky Cinema Comedy HD, Sky Sport F1 HD, Sky Sport NBA HD, Sky Sport Uno HD.” Demanding the removal of four APKs, each representing a variant of EKM, the notice targeted EKM 4.2 builds 1,2,3, and 4. Github complied with the requests by deleting the files and also removing the repository. Despite the Github takedown, Evil King Media has its own website, from where people were able to download the software. However, when checking the threads where the app is detailed, there are now several notes in the comment section from an admin called ‘Evil’. People should forget the software moving forward, he writes, because “THE APP WILL NOT BE UPDATED ANY MORE! Uninstall it !!!” The multiple “delete” comments were posted before the removal of the software from Github so at this point it’s unclear whether the apparent discontinuation of EKM and the Sky DMCA takedown notice are connected. However, according to Google’s Transparency Report, Sky’s interest in taking EKM down pre-dates the apparent halt in its development. On June 22, 2020, for example, Sky sent a complaint to Google targeting the EvilKingMedia.com domain (copy here, courtesy of Lumen Database), demanding the deindexing of several pages linked to the EKM app. https://torrentfreak.com/images/sky-lumen-EKM.png However, there are many more complaints filed by Sky and its anti-piracy partner, some of them during this year but a handful dating back to 2019, each citing copyright issues with the Evil King Media site and particularly the EKM app. In almost 96.6% of cases, Google responded by delisting the pages in question. TorrentFreak reached out to the operator of Evil King Media to find out more about the complaints and the discontinuation of the EKM software but at the time of publication, we were yet to hear back.
