  1. Marvel Studios' president Kevin Feige thinks it would be cool to make a Young Avengers movie starring Ant-Man's Cassie Lang. Even though the last 10 years of MCU films have stayed primarily focused on a handful of characters, Marvel's always thinking of the future. Recent examples like Donald Glover's Aaron Davis teasing the existence of his nephew who comic readers know to be Miles Morales show just how forward thinking the studio is in keeping their options open. This type of set up can even come with casting of supporting characters, such as Cassie Lang in the Ant-Man series. The first Ant-Man introduced audiences to Abby Ryder Fortson as Scott Lang's (Paul Rudd) adorable daughter, Cassie Lang. The marketing for Ant-Man and The Wasp has even started to plant the seeds that Cassie wants to be a hero someday too. That's exactly what she does in the comics by becoming the hero known as Stature where she is an original member of the Young Avengers. We had the opportunity to speak to Kevin Feige at the press junket for Ant-Man and The Wasp and ask him about the possibility that Cassie's comic book potential will be fulfilled. Taking it a step further though, our question pertained to how she could be used to help bring the Young Avengers to the big screen. We: Do you think that we'll ever get the Young Avengers because Cassie and Stature, that goes hand in hand. Kevin Feige: Clearly, anything from the comics is our inspiration going forward. We love that Cassie in this movie in particular is inspired by her father, wants to do good. Certainly, we're following that trend. Where, when, how, we'll see, but I think it would be cool. Even though Feige isn't ready to commit to the Young Avengers just yet publicly, it does appear to be something they're building towards. One of the more intriguing stories to come out of the Avengers 4 production process was the revelation that an older version of Cassie had been cast. Emma Furhmann will play the older version and is seven years older than Fortson, possibly alluding to a rather significant time jump. It isn't known if Furhmann will show off Stature's own size-changing abilities in Avengers 4, but it looks more likely than not that Cassie will suit up at some point. Cassie becoming Stature is one thing, but there's still plenty of other developments that must happen for the Young Avengers to form. The original team consists of Nathaniel Richards aka Iron Lad, the time traveling descendent of the Fantastic Four; Elijah Bradley aka Patriot, the descendent of another version of Captain America; William Kaplan aka Wiccan, the child of Scarlet Witch's manipulated reality; Teddy Altman aka Hulkling, a Kree shapeshifter; and Kate Bishop aka Hawkeye. There have been seeds planted for a few, but Patriot is the closest to making it to the big screen after once being considered for Black Panther. Iron Lad may have to wait until the Fox-Disney deal closes, while Wiccan, Hulkling, and Kate Bishop could all receive more set up in upcoming MCU films. Marvel could also adjust the roster as they see fit to include a few other highly requested characters, and maybe even both Wiccan and Speed. If Feige is considering Young Avengers, we should know more by the end of Avengers 4.
  2. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige says that one day soon there will be more female superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe than male superheroes. It has been 10 years since the MCU launched with Jon Favreau's Iron Man - and it looks like it will start to head in a new direction following next year's Captain Marvel. The MCU has traditionally had something of a gender bias, but that's changing little by little. There's been recent buzz about a possible A-Force movie - a film that would star all the female heroes of the MCU teaming up together against cosmic threats. Marvel stars such as Tessa Thompson, Brie Larson, and Scarlett Johansson have all pitched the idea to Kevin Feige. Thompson, for her part, walked away believing Marvel is "interested" in the concept, though not much has happened on that front since the initial reports. Speaking to Kevin Feige as part of a press junket for Ant-Man & the Wasp, we took the opportunity to ask if there was any movement on this possible film. Feige deliberately avoided giving anything away, admitting he's "cagey about anything post Avengers 4." He then reflected a little on the changing gender balance in the MCU, and where he expects things to go. "But, as the plan goes forward I think frankly we'll be ... you know, eventually I think we're going to reach a time where it's not just ... listen, it would be amazing to see all of our female characters the way we have seen ... most, never all male, but primarily male. I think we're getting to the point soon where we have so many great female characters that those are just our heroes as opposed to when are they all female, all male. It's just the Marvel heroes, more than half of which will be women." The last comment from Feige is clearly the most exciting; he envisions a time when people have stopped talking about whether Marvel heroes are male or female, and when at least half - most likely "more than half" - are women. Right now, Marvel is nowhere near that point; female superheroes are still in the minority in the MCU, but that's most definitely changing. Black Panther featured a wealth of female characters, most notably Okoye, Nakia, and the super-genius Shuri. Marvel's next film, Ant-Man & the Wasp, will see the two titular heroes work together as equal partners. And next year's Captain Marvel will be the MCU's first female-led superhero movie. Marvel still has a long way to go before they get to the point Feige imagines, but now we have a sense of the direction of travel. A single scene in Avengers: Infinity War made the best case yet for an all-female MCU team movie. The Battle of Wakanda featured a smaller fight scene in which Black Widow, Okoye, and Scarlet Witch worked together to defeat Proxima Midnight, one of Thanos's Black Order members. It was a stunning scene, and an exciting taste of what an A-Force film would actually be like. It's clear that Marvel intend their future to be one in which they embrace diversity. Films like Black Panther and DC's Wonder Woman have proved that the world is ready for a far richer, more diverse world of superheroes than we've seen to date. And Marvel intends to make the most of that opportunity.
  3. The real-world basis for the science used to clone dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park books and movies has always been a bit dodgy, yet the most unbelievable aspect of the latest film in the franchise, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, may be how cheap it is to buy a live dinosaur at auction. The plot of Fallen Kingdom focuses upon raptor trainer Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and former Jurassic World park operations manager Claire Dearing (Bryce David Howard). The two are reunited as part of a team, sent to rescue the dinosaurs that were abandoned to run wild on the island of Isla Nublar, before a reawakened volcano destroys them all. However, the two quickly discover that their new employers were not entirely honest about their noble reasons for saving Isla Nublar's dinosaurs. In fact, their plan is to auction the dinosaurs off to the highest bidder. ComicBook reports that many fans questioned the prices that were being quoted in the movie and how well the screenwriters might have researched just how expensive a live dinosaur would be in reality. Some of the prices were low enough that, if cloned dinosaurs really did exist, it would be far cheaper to buy them and train them than it would be to create them with CGI for a movie. While a precise dollar amount was never given in Jurassic Park regarding just how much it cost John Hammond to create his dinosaur clones, he claimed that he "spared no expense" in the original park's creation. It would certainly have been expensive enough that a seven-digit figure for even a small dinosaur would be ludicrously low, given the expense of the technology involved. The sheer fact that one is dealing with a rare commodity would also boost the price considerably, based on simple supply and demand. A number of Twitter users made apt comparisons as to how badly the potential price of a live dinosaur was low-balled in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Drawing comparison to another recent release, BeccaWeddle noted that the diamond necklace that was the focus of the theft in Ocean's Eight was worth $150 million - a far more queenly sum than the $10 million some dinosaurs were fetching, despite being far rarer than diamonds. Other users said the auction prices from the movie were a bargain compared to the real-world prices for commercial time during The Super Bowl or the cost of a fighter jet. Perhaps the most understated comment came from DJ3LN, who pointed out that real world dinosaur fossils sell for far more the prices some live dinosaurs were fetching. The screenwriters of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom have yet to comment on their scandalously poor planning, but it's clear that auctioning off live dinosaurs would be much more expensive than they were in the movie.
  4. Rebel Wilson will star in and produce the movie adaptation of the comic book series Crowded. Fans know the performer as a comedic actress. And while she has comedy features in the works, including Taika Waititi's Jojo Rabbit, she will be tackling a new feature in front of and behind the camera. Wilson came to fame through the Pitch Perfect films. Now an established comedic actress, she also appeared in films like Bridesmaids and How To Be Single. She has also worked behind the camera as a co-executive producer for her short-lived series Super Fun Night. While Wilson may be known for her outrageous characters, she'll be leveraging everything she's learned from acting and producing to get a new movie off the ground. THR reports that Rebel Wilson has optioned the film rights to Image Comics' Crowded comic book. Crowded is written by Christopher Sebela and drawn by Ro Stein and Ted Brandt. Set in the not-so-distant future where apps and job sharing are in vogue, a crowdfunding platform that funds assassinations named Reapr is growing in popularity. The story begins with a woman named Charlie having her peaceful life completely interrupted. She becomes a target on Reapr, with a multimillion-dollar bounty. In an act of desperation, Charlie uses the app Defnd to hire a low-rated bodyguard named Vita. Now working together, they must take down the assassins and find out who wants Charlie dead before the 30-day campaign, or their lives, run out of time. Along with Oni Entertainment, Wilson will be developing the adaptation through Camp Sugar, her production banner. Writer of the comic, Sebela will act as a consulting producer for the movie. And now, the production team will begin to look for a writer capable of adapting the story into a script. Camp Sugar, Wilson's company is currently in post-production on its first feature The Hustle, a remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels starring Wilson and Anne Hathaway. Wilson is currently in Prague working on Taika Waititi's film Jojo Rabbit. Wilson also has a few other projects in the works, including Isn't It Romantic, due out this coming Valentine's Day and Private Benjamin, written by Nancy Meyers. Fans of Wilson can look forward to the actress bringing to life an original character courtesy of Chrsitopher Sebela. Wilson will more than likely put a humorous spin on what will be a dramatic and action packed feature. Fans are so used to seeing Wilson's brand of physical and self deprecating humor, that seeing her in an action packed film, fighting to survive, will be something bold and new for the actress. The film could also bring out a dramatic presence from Wilson as well. Audiences are used to seeing the actress choose projects with a comedic edge to them. But Sebela, Stein, and Brandt's story has to potential work in both genres.
  5. While the role of secret agent James Bond is still in the hands of Daniel Craig for one more film, former 007 Pierce Brosnan thinks Tom Hardy should be the next actor to put on the tux. There’s really no better support for an actor whose name has been floated around in fan circles as a possible choice to play Bond than to have someone like Brosnan endorse you as a candidate before the role is officially open. Though it’s likely going to be quite some time before the powers that be behind the immensely successful franchise are ready to announce Craig’s successor, Brosnan has chimed in with a solid choice. Hardy’s name has been bandied about numerous times over the years, putting him in good company along with Tom Hiddelston, Idris Elba, and even Damian Lewis. Since the role is akin to casting the next Spider-Man, Batman, or Superman, everyone has their favorite choice for who’s best suited to play the suave spy. And while there’s no clue if any of the abovementioned actors are even on the Broccoli’s short list, it’d be surprising if fans weren’t pleased as punch to see Hardy in the role. Brosnan made the comments in an interview with The Mail on Sunday’s Event Magazine. In it, the actor addressed the future of the character and who might take over the part. “I think Tom Hardy could be a good Bond,” Brosnan said. “I’d be happy to see him do it.” Though he didn’t go too much into specifics, he did follow that up with: “You need an actor who can put a bit of wiggle into it — that’s what makes Bond.” What exactly “a bit of a wiggle” means is up for interpretation, and yet at the same time, it’s hard to not to think that if anyone has that, it’s Hardy. Just listen to him speak in the trailers for Venom, and try not to hold some sort of actorly “wiggle” responsible for that accent. As for the actor who replaced him, Brosnan has nothing but nice things to say about the star of Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, and Spectre. “Daniel Craig has been an incredible Bond,” Brosnan said. “He’s very physical, he looks lethal. You genuinely believe this is someone who could kill a man.” Of course, Craig is getting ready to play the character one last time — and in the 25th Bond movie to boot — in the as-yet untitled film set to be directed by Danny Boyle. After that, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not Brosnan has an eye for casting 007.
  6. The first script draft for James Gunner's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has been completed and turned in to Marvel Studios. Gunn, who wrote and directed the first two Guardians of the Galaxy films, is expected to wrap up his trilogy with the third installment in 2020, which will also set the stage for the future of the MCU. Not much is known about the plot of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 yet. Gunn has revealed that this third chapter will be the final installment featuring the current lineup of Guardians, but it's unclear what that means for the characters. The first film was a surprise hit for Marvel, introducing audiences to the cosmic side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's also considered to be one of the first MCU films to have a particularly distinguished tone. Gunn followed up with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in 2017, which introduced Mantis and teased the long-awaited arrival of Adam Warlock. Gunn confirmed on Twitter that he has finished his first draft of the script. The post features a photo of the script’s cover page, with a caption that reads, “Every bit of my heart.” Many fans reacted positively to the reveal, including TV star Billy Eichner, who asked jokingly what his part in the film would be. Take a look: The update follows Kevin Feige’s recent statement in an interview with Collider, which provided a rough idea of the production schedule for Guardians and the other upcoming MCU movies: “James [Gunn] has delivered a draft and we begin official pre-production on that very, very soon. It’ll be shooting early next year. Captain Marvel finishes in about two weeks, Spider-Man starts in about two weeks, and then Guardians 3 will start early next year.” So far, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and the new Spider-Man sequel (recently revealed to have the subtitle Far From Home), are the only confirmed entries in Marvel’s Phase 4. It is still uncertain how the story will be affected by the events of Avengers 4, especially since most of the team was dusted by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. It is all but confirmed that most of the characters “killed” by Thanos will return from the dead. Given that Spider-Man and Black Panther were both erased and have sequels in place, it’s highly likely that Star-Lord will return to lead his team for one last ride. It is important to note Gunn’s comment about how much “heart” was put into this project. It is evident that Guardians has indeed been a passion project as much as it has been a staple for Marvel Studios. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was heavily focused on the theme of fatherhood, and Gunn delivered on his promise that it would be emotional. It only seems natural that his conclusion to the series will be just as moving. Given that production is expected early next year, audiences will not have to wait too long to see if Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is a satisfying finale.
  7. A social media teaser from 20th Century Fox gives audiences their best look yet at the new black and gold alien hunter from Shane Black's The Predator reboot, with a full trailer set to drop tomorrow. The Predator features multiple versions of the title monster, including one who stands ten feet tall. In the new film, the Predators have learned to splice their DNA with that of their victims, creating new and terrifying hybrid aliens. In writer-director Shane Black's reboot, a young boy (Jacob Tremblay) unwittingly activates a signal that calls the Predators down to earth where they proceed to wreak havoc. A group of misfit soldiers called The Looneys battles against the Predators in the movie's suburban setting. The first Predator teaser trailer released last month, offering up a limited glimpse of the film's re-designed Predators. And then a subsequent TV spot, set to the music of Bob Dylan, showed a pair of the new Predators squaring off against each other. Now, 20th Century Fox FR is teasing the arrival of a new Predator trailer with a social media teaser that gives fans another good glimpse of the alien hunter. Rather than use footage from the movie, the teaser simply features the black-and-gold Predator already seen in previous ads along with text in the Predators' alien language. At the end of the clip, the Predator takes off his helmet to reveal the classic grotesque face first glimpsed by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1987 original. The new trailer is set to release tomorrow, June 26 After the first teaser revealed a glimpse of the Predator, some Predator fans were underwhelmed by the character's new design. Thus far, very few promotional materials have released showcasing the creature that deviates from the classic Predator look, which may or may not be a problem when the movie actually releases. Of course, it's possible Black has a lot of interesting new Predator materials up his sleeve that is being held back from the public so it can be a surprise when they see the whole movie. Then again, it's also possible that Black and 20th Century Fox simply decided to take an "if it isn't broke, don't fix it" approach with the Predators, at least from a visual stand-point. If that's the case, then it would be entirely in keeping with the history of the Predator franchise. The Predator will be the sixth movie to feature the classic creature introduced in the 1987 original, including the two Alien vs. Predator films, and not much has been done over the years to really tweak the look of the monster. Perhaps the new trailer will give fans a hint of some surprises to come.
  8. Somehow, Chris Pratt's Owen in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is dumber than Avengers: Infinity War's Star-Lord/Peter Quill. It may be the summer of Josh Brolin with three of his movies (Infinity War, Deadpool 2 and Sicario: Day of the Soldado) releasing in a span of two months, but his Marvel co-star, Pratt, is also having a busy blockbuster season with Infinity War and then Fallen Kingdom. Unfortunately, while Brolin has played three interesting and layered characters in Thanos, Cable and Matt Graver, Pratt's characters haven't been making the best decisions. Less than two months since Infinity War hit theaters, Pratt is back on the big screen in J.A. Bayona's Fallen Kingdom. But while MCU fans still haven't gotten over Star-Lord's disastrous outburst on Titan, they're actually luckier than Jurassic fans as the latter need to deal with Owen's lack of direction and foresight in the dinosaur-centric blockbuster. Although Quill has a record of saving the galaxy twice, he, also played a part in the Avengers failing to stop Thanos (and, subsequently, Thanos wiping out half of all life in the galaxy). During the height of the Titan-set battle where Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and Spider-Man teamed up with some of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Star-Lord had an epic meltdown after realizing that the Mad Titan killed Gamora. This resulted in the villain regaining consciousness and ultimately getting what he wanted - the Time Stone, which made it possible for him to revive the destroyed Mind Stone from Vision's forehead and ultimately enacting the catastrophic snap. Pratt and Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo have all defended Star-Lord's colossal mistake by pointing out that he's always been emotional, thus, it only made sense that it was his reaction upon finding out that his girlfriend is dead. In hindsight that's true, and regardless of the consequences of his actions, it's a testament to Marvel Studios' commitment to crafting three-dimensional heroes. However, while Quill's Infinity War emotional breakdown is forgivable, that's just not the case for Owen in Fallen Kingdom. What makes Pratt's Fallen Kingdom stint more frustrating is that Owen was supposed to be the main hero of the movie. Oddly, however, he was always the one who needed saving. Except for a few instances where he was actually helpful (saving Claire and Franklin who were trapped in the submerged Gyrosphere and coming up with a plan to escape the prison cell that he and Claire were trapped in at the Lockwood mansion), he was mostly running around with no clear plan. Things only got worse during the movie's final act as he, Claire, and Maisie had to deal with the free-roaming Indoraptor. After Maisie ran to her room only to be followed by the deadly dinosaur, Owen came barging in with a firearm looking to save the day. Unfortunately, it turned out that his gun was only good for a few more shots - not enough to bring down the creature. Luckily for both of them, Blue arrived just in time to engage the Indoraptor in a fight. At that point, Owen could've had the presence of mind to get out of there while the two was still engaged in an intense fight, but instead, he mindlessly watched on the sideline while cradling Maisie. In the end, it was even the kid who found a way out of the room to save both their lives. Finally, as Owen and Maisie were cornered by the Indoraptor on the roof, Owen tried to bait the dinosaur to attack him (with the help of Claire using the specialized gun), in the hopes that the glass roof won't be able to carry its weight. What's confusing, though, is that even upon seeing his plan fail, as the Indoraptor clung to the steel beams, Owen was once again staring blankly at the creature instead of coming up with another plan to finally defeat it, or at least get Maisie to a safer place. Fortunately, Blue was once again there to save the day - ultimately killing the Indoraptor by fatally impaling it on the Triceratops skull on display in the Lockwood great room. Maybe they should make Blue the brains of the operation in Jurassic World 3.
  9. Jeffrey Wright says he may yet return to the James Bond movies. The Westworld actor joined the cinematic 007 universe back in 2006's Casino Royale, where he played CIA operative and frequent Bond ally, Felix Leiter. Wright reprised his role in the next Daniel Craig-led Bond film, Quantum of Solace, but his version of Mr. Leiter hasn't been seen since. Wright, for his part, is clearly game to play the role again and even hinted at his return in the untitled James Bond 25 all the way back in April 2017. Of course, a lot has happened on the Bond 25 front since then. The film is now being directed by Danny Boyle and written by his frequent collaborator John Hodge (Trance, Trainspotting 1 & 2), with Craig returning as 007 for his fifth and most likely final go-around. Boyle is currently filming an untitled 1960s/'70s music comedy and won't begin production on Bond 25 until this December. As such, there may not be any additional Bond 25-related announcements for the next four to five months. Until then, however, Wright isn't ruling anything out when it comes to his future (or lack thereof) with the Bond movies. During an AMA on Reddit, Wright was asked by a fan if there was any word on his return and/or if he had already been approached for Bond 25. Wright responded with a simple "It's possible. Thanks." In other words, the actor left the door open for him to come back as Felix, but avoided confirming his character's return or if he's already discussed it with the creatives on the Bond franchise. It would make sense for Bond 25 to bring back Wright's version of Felix, assuming it is Craig's last Bond film. That would allow Craig's run on the series to come properly full-circle by tying back directly to the events of Casino Royale. Then again, after Spectre's attempt to weave together the mythology of Craig's Bond films wielded muddled results three years ago, Boyle and Hodge might have more of a standalone story in mind for Bond 25. If so, that could rule out an appearance by Felix. Craig's 007 and Wright as Felix have a fun dynamic, so it would be nice to see the pair united again, if only for a single scene (which, given Wright's commitment to Westworld, might be all he has time for anyway). Admittedly, it's not a necessity, especially now that Spectre has largely tied off any loose plot threads left dangling by the Quantum storyline from Craig's first two Bond movies. Still, the Felix character has been part of the Bond films since they began with Dr. No, so that's all the more reason to have him back to bid farewell to Craig's iteration in Bond 25.
  10. Deadpool 2 has reached a global box office milestone by cracking the list of the top 3 highest-grossing R-rated films. Starring Ryan Reynolds in his second solo outing as the irreverent Marvel superhero, Deadpool 2 was released in May with a mountain of expectations in front of it. Mainly, the film had to find a way to top the original with just as entertaining a story line, but just as daunting, it had task of trying to equal if not top the massive box office haul of the 2016 film. Globally, the first Deadpool made $783 million, a remarkable gross considering the film was rated R. Naturally, Deadpool 2 carried an R-rating as well, but like its predecessor, the restricted viewing tag place on it by the Motion Picture Association of America didn't deter the film from earning $125.5 million in its opening weekend, which was relatively on-par with Deadpool's opening of $132.4 million in February 2016. Since then, Deadpool 2 has been riding high in ticket sales both domestically and overseas, proving that the Merc with a Mouth is putting his money where his mouth is. According to Deadline, Deadpool 2's box office performance in the U.S. and abroad over the weekend was enough to push the film's global take to $705 million, passing the final worldwide tally of $700.3 million of IT to take the third spot on the all-time list of highest grossing R-rated films. The first Deadpool remains the top-grossing R-rated movie of all-time with $783.1 million in global ticket sales, followed by The Matrix Reloaded, which in second place with$742.1 million in worldwide. To date, Deadpool 2 has earned $304.1 million domestically, becoming only the fifth R-rated movie in history to cross the $300 million mark. With a stateside take of $370.7 million, The Passion of the Christ remains the top R-rated domestic box office record-holder, ahead of Deadpool ($363 million), American Sniper ($350.1 million) and IT ($327.4 million). Overseas, Deadpool 2 has earned $403 million to date, with its strongest showings coming in the UK ($43.1 million), Korea ($31.8 million), Australia ($26.7 million), Germany ($22.2 million) and Russia ($21.8million). At current, the Deadpool 2 is playing in 63 foreign territories. While it is unlikely to break the global record set by its predecessor, Deadpool 2 appears to have a legitimate shot at cracking the number 2 all-time global box office slot held by The Matrix Reloaded. Even if it doesn't, Reynolds, director David Leitch, the cast and crew, and everyone else at 20th Century Fox have no reason to hang their heads, since they proved that the original Deadpool wasn't a fluke regarding the financial viability of R-rated superhero films. With the studio's X-Men spinoff Logan as another example, Deadpool 2 has sent a clear signal that the R-rated superhero genre is here to stay, allowing Fox to make the forthcoming X-Force with confidence.
  11. Ant-Man & The Wasp held its world premiere screening this past weekend and it can now be reported that the final Marvel Cinematic Universe release for 2018 will have two post-credits scenes during and after its closing credits. While Marvel Studios didn't invent the post-credits sequence, it certainly has popularized sneaking Easter eggs (or what are commonly called "stinger" scenes) into the closing credits of its films. It all began with Iron Man, which stunned those viewers who waited until the end of the credits with a scene in which Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) was approached by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) about something called "The Avengers Initiative." That scene was not even a minute long, but it would lay the foundation for what became the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a proud tradition of foreshadowing the next Marvel films with these stingers. Appropriately enough, given that wasps are insects well known for their "stingers" and that the film centers around a duo of costumed crime-fighters, Ant-Man and The Wasp will have not one, but two post-credit scenes. This was revealed at the world premiere screening of the film in Los Angeles, where the film was met with an overwhelmingly positive reaction. Naturally the exact contents of the post-credits scenes are being kept top-secret until the Ant-Man and The Wasp's release on July 6, along with any other major spoilers about the plot of the film and its ending. This is particularly important, given the major role that Ant-Man and The Wasp are rumored to play in the upcoming fourth Avengers movie and the likelihood that one of the post-credits scenes may set up their connection to that movie, much as one of the post-credits scenes in the original Ant-Man set up his appearance in Captain America: Civil War. It also seems likely that the post-credits scenes may involve Captain Marvel, who will star in the next Marvel Cinematic Universe film. By this point in time, most fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe do not need to be reminded to stick around through all of the credits to make sure that they have truly seen the entire movie. It seems quite likely that theaters around the world screening Ant-Man And The Wasp will be fully packed until the lights come back up. Still, we is proud to offer this friendly reminder and a promise to discuss these scenes and what they mean once the film has been released.
  12. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has revealed that Spider-Man: Far From Home will see Peter Parker and some of his closest friends go on a summer vacation in Europe. Marvel recently revealed that the second Spider-Man solo movie to be set in the MCU will bear the title Spider-Man: Far From Home. The movie will begin filming in London this July, but it's confirmed to be a global adventure, and there have been reports the film will also shoot in a number of other European countries. With filming about to begin, Marvel is beginning to open up about the sequel. In an interview with i09, Kevin Feige finally explained just why Tom Holland's Spider-Man isn't in New York in this film. In response to questions about the film's timing, Feige gave a humorous answer that let slip a juicy new detail: "Well, when does that movie take place? We know it’s the summer. I think it’s summer vacation. I think he’s going to Europe with his friends. I don’t know what summer... I mean, I do know [but you don’t]." So it seems Peter and some of his friends will go on a trip to Europe as part of their summer vacation. Amusingly, that means Holland gets to play tourist - when he's actually returning to his home country. Feige is wrong when he says we don't know when Spider-Man: Far From Home is set. Last year, Amy Pascal revealed that the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel would be set "minutes after" Avengers 4. Feige himself confirmed that the film would explore the post-Phase 3 MCU. As he explained at the time, "What better person to hold your hand and lead you into the next incarnation of the MCU, in a grounded, realistic manner, than Peter Parker?" Marvel is currently trying to row back on that in light of the cliffhanger ending of Avengers: Infinity War, which saw countless key heroes crumble to dust before viewers' horrified eyes. The most tragic and heartbreaking death of all was Spider-Man's, who vanished in Tony Stark's arms. The Russo brothers have been trying to argue that future Marvel movies could actually be set before the events of Avengers: Infinity War, and that those deaths will stick. That's plainly not the case, and anyone who reads the comics will be well aware that deaths like this are either undone or averted. That, presumably, is the plot of next year's Avengers 4. The surviving heroes will save half the life in the universe from Thanos's act of destruction, likely at great personal cost. Two months later, Tom Holland's Spider-Man will introduce viewers to the post-Phase 3 MCU.
  13. With all the members of the grown-up Losers' Club cast for next years' It: Chapter Two, the upcoming sequel has officially cast Teach Grant as the adult version of their archenemy Henry Bowers, as well as Jess Weixler as Bill Denbrough's wife, Audra Phillips. Bowers was believed to have died in the first movie, despite surviving the initial Pennywise attacks as a child in Stephen King's novel, and this casting news finally puts the uncertainty of his fate to rest. Set 27 years after the events of the first movie, It: Chapter Two revisits Derry, Maine as it's plagued yet again by the child-eating creature known as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, or simply It. Now, the original Losers' Club - consisting of Bill Denbrough (James McAvoy), Beverly Marsh (Jessica Chastain), Richie Tozier (Bill Hader), Mike Hanlon (Isaiah Mustafa), Ben Hanscom (Jay Ryan), Eddie Kaspbrak (James Ransone), and Stanley Uris (Andy Bean) - reunite in order to settle their score with Pennywise once and for all. Directed by Andy Muschietti and adapted for the screen by Gary Dauberman, It: Chapter Two is not only plagued by an interdimensional being, but a human threat as well. Now that the main characters have been officially confirmed for the upcoming It sequel, Teach Grant joins the cast as the adult Henry Bowers, while Jess Weixler joins as Bill's wife Audra Phillips, according to Variety. In the novel, Henry (who was portrayed by Nicholas Hamilton in the first movie) is serving time in Juniper Hill Asylum as an adult, while Audra is first introduced in the second half of the story when the characters have all grown up. Both characters eventually visit Derry later on in the story once the Losers have already begun their respective journeys, but with very different motives. Though this will be the first Stephen King adaptation that the two have starred in, Grant and Weixler have quite a bit experience in the horror genre. Grant has starred in movies and television shows like The Tall Man, Leprechaun: Origins, and Supernatural, while Weixler is perhaps best known for her lead role in the horror movie Teeth. Given that the first adaptation of It took some creative liberties with King's original novel in order to consolidate the 1,138-page novel, it remains to be seen whether or not Henry's storyline will differ significantly in the sequel. At the end of the first movie, he falls down a massive well, presumably to his death - so the details of his survival will likely be a focal point in his narrative. Audra, on the other hand, ends up being thrust into the events of the story by mere association.
  14. Anyone who "died" at the end of Avengers: Infinity War is not going to be featured in Avengers 4's marketing. Marvel Studios did everything in their power to protect spoilers from leaking on Infinity War and for good reason. The final moments saw Thanos (Josh Brolin) wipe out half of the universe's population with the snap of his finger. Civilians weren't the only ones to go though, as the likes of Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), and more vanished from existence. The once bountiful roster of heroes Marvel had to market Infinity War is significantly smaller for Avengers 4. It also puts the studio in a unique situation where it can't market its biggest film with any of those stars without possibly spoiling what comes next. That's why when Avengers 4's marketing finally begins, you won't be seeing anyone who isn't still actually alive. io9 asked Kevin Feige about the unique situation Marvel has put themselves in when it comes to marketing Avengers 4. Fans of all types undoubtedly want to know what the future holds for their favorite perished heroes, but it won't come in the trailers. When the outlet asked Feige if character like Black Panther will appear in any trailers, he said, "No. Because he’s gone." On one hand, it would be quite shocking to see Marvel use their dead heroes to market Avengers 4. Any bit of footage Marvel could show that includes any of them could immediately answers some of the film's biggest questions. It's clearly the right call to make as far as how it pertains to the film's actual story, but it also signifies a drastically different marketing campaign. Infinity War was sold as a culminating event film that brought together all these heroes. That can't be the case with Avengers 4 though with half (and some of the most popular) characters missing. Luckily for Marvel, they've got an abundance of riches and will be reinforced by a few new additions too. Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) may play a pivotal role in the film if the time-traveling or Quantum Realm theories prove to be true, and he'll be fresh off a sequel that's tracking very well at the box office. The other major boost could come once Brie Larson's Captain Marvel is added to the marketing. They could hide her for a bit since Captain Marvel comes out just two months prior, but both characters were featured alongside the original Avengers in the first concept art for the film. While we wait for the film's actual title reveal to possibly kick off the marketing, we now know who won't be featured in the trailer for Avengers 4 once they begins.
  15. Fans will be excited to hear that filming for the upcoming film Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled to kick off in two weeks, basing its production in London but extending to locations throughout Europe, as well as in the character’s home state of New York. Considering the locations, the title for the follow-up to Spider-Man: Homecoming, which was revealed on star Tom Holland’s Instagram account, makes sense. The Sony-distributed Spider-Man: Homecoming hit theaters in 2017 and was the most recent cinematic reboot of the character. This newest incarnation was previously set up in Captain America: Civil War via a lengthy scene that featured Holland as Peter Parker and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, aka. Iron Man. Various rumors and reveals have made headlines en route to Spider-Man: Far From Home’s announcement, and Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige was previously quoted on the globe-spanning aspect that will apparently factor heavily in the sequel. In an interview with Collider during the junket for Ant-Man and the Wasp, Feige confirmed that Spider-Man: Far From Home will begin filming in two weeks time, marking an early July start date. With the new film’s title already leading to multiple meanings, Spider-Man: Far From Home forges onward, somewhat mysteriously, in the wake of the MCU-shattering events caused by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. The film is set to star returning characters from Spider-Man: Homecoming - including, reportedly, Michael Keaton reprising his role as villain The Vulture - and now the sequel’s production schedule has been confirmed. What we know so far about Spider-Man: Far From Home, aside from the return of key characters and its international backdrop, regards some updated casting. Actor Jake Gyllenhaal had been in negotiations to play Mysterio, a classic Spider-Man villain who has yet to make a film appearance, though he’s prominently been featured in a few Spider-Man video games. Speaking of villains, a recent convention appearance quoted Holland as hopeful that the character might encounter Venom on camera. The comment arrives after months of rumors circulating that Holland will appear in Sony's upcoming Venom movie for a cameo. Recently, the film's director offered a carefully vague, non-committal response to those rumors. While Avengers: Infinity War may have led to technical confusion for Spider-Man’s continued presence in the MCU, the scheduled release of Avengers 4 in May will undoubtedly help lay the foundation for Spider-Man: Far From Home. Beyond that, little has been revealed, though Tom Holland’s Instagram proves to be a reliable source for emergent disclosures.
  16. Details for Solo: A Star Wars Story retailer exclusive Blu-ray sets have been revealed. The film, which was positioned as Lucasfilm's big summer blockbuster, had a pretty rough go at it during its theatrical run. Opening well below expectations at the box office, Solo will end up losing Disney quite a bit of money, mainly due to its infamous production woes that inflated the budget past $250 million. To date, the spinoff has earned just $353.4 million worldwide, considerably below the hauls of the other Star Wars films of the Disney era. With Solo's time on the big screen winding down to a close, soon fans will be wondering when they can bring the movie home to experience again in their living rooms. No release date has been set yet, but now viewers can see the variety of packages that'll be available when that time does come. Target and Best Buy shared their Solo exclusives on their respective websites today. The former actually has two options for consumers. The first includes what's called a gallery book, which includes pieces of Solo concept art. Another is for REDcard users and comes with a metal model of the Millennium Falcon. You can check out pictures of these below: Since Star Wars returned with The Force Awakens in 2015, Best Buy has produced Blu-ray Steelbooks for all the new films. That continues with Solo. The front of the packaging is an image of the Falcon in-flight, while the back cover depicts Han, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, and Qi'ra outside the ship. The Steelbooks's interior is of the Falcon's cockpit. These all seem to come with three discs: the movie in 4K, the movie on Blu-ray, and one with bonus materials. It'll be interesting to see what kind of special features are included on the Solo release. To their credit, Lucasfilm has been open when it comes to discussing the unprecedented director change Solo endured, but it certainly isn't the easiest topic for them to talk about. Rogue One, which went through tame reshoots by comparison, didn't have any deep exploration on Tony Gilroy's involvement or the third act changes on its own Blu-ray. Perhaps Ron Howard will cover some things in a commentary track (considering there is one), but fans shouldn't expect a full-length documentary like Episode VIII's The Director and the Jedi. At this point, the studio would prefer to move on. The sad thing for Lucasfilm is that even if Solo sells very well on home media, it may not be enough to push the investment into the black. That previously reported $50 million loss included pieces of "ancillary revenue," such as Blu-ray shipments. There's no denying the studio made an extremely tough call when they moved from original directors Phil Lord & Chris Miller, opting to reshoot most of the film under Howard's watch. That put Solo in a tight spot to turn a profit, so Lucasfilm seemingly sacrificed money in the name of making a better product. It's encouraging they're willing to take a loss if it means making a good movie, but this is a situation that should be avoided from here on out.
  17. Although Marvel has not yet announced plans for Ant-Man 3, Scott Long actor, Paul Rudd, has a few ideas of where the story can take his character next. With the release of Ant-Man & The Wasp just around the corner, it makes sense that Marvel fans are already thinking ahead to what comes next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for those characters. Ant-Man & The Wasp takes place after Captain America: Civil War, setting it just before the happenings of Avengers: Infinity War, from which Ant-Man was noticeably absent. The movie will see Rudd's character dealing with balancing life as a superhero and life as a father. However, Lang decides to join Hope van Dyne, aka Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), and her father, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), when the two come to him for help with an urgent mission that will have the team going up against a mysterious villain known as Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen). In an exclusive interview with us, Rudd talks about his hopes for Ant-Man beyond this movie and into a sequel, if Marvel decides to continue forward with the franchise. At first, he seemed hesitant to speak about a movie that may or may not happen: "I don't know. I've had some thoughts. You know, if they were, I have no idea whether or not if they'll do anything else with this. I really don't. Marvel's very good at keeping their cards close to their chest, not just with the public. But I've thought about things, like if we ever did another one what could it be? And I've had some thoughts, but I hesitate to say what they are in case we do wind up going in that direction and some of those things that Scott is dealing with are things that I'm thinking of now." But then he opened up about what he feels could serve as an important plot point for Ant-Man 3: Scott's relationship with his daughter, Cassie, and her future as a potential superhero. In Marvel Comics, Cassie goes on to become Stature. So will the Langs and Pyms turn into an Incredibles type of superhero family? Rudd said: "That's an interesting thing. I don't know. One of the things I think does separate this is this whole thing about family, and parents, and kids, and certainly my relationship with Cassie is a huge component of it. But it's also a father-daughter relationship with Hope and Hank and this, it does seem like it's their family business. I don't know. That's a good idea, yeah." One thing is for certain: Ant-Man & The Wasp will offer a lot of thrills for fans of Marvel comics. Not only will it feature a good look at a rescue attempt of Hope's mother, Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), but it will also shed some light on the mysterious quantum realm where she is currently trapped, which may offer an important plot point for the upcoming Avengers 4. The film will also highlight the big differences between Ant-Man and the Wasp as superheroes. As another entry into the MCU, Ant-Man & The Wasp will certainly prove popular enough for a third movie focusing on these characters, but the only question remaining is if Marvel wants to include that sequel in Phase 4 of the MCU. Fans will have to wait to find out, since Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said they won't reveal their Phase 4 plans until after Avengers 4.
  18. Captain Marvel star Gemma Chan has offered an early glimpse of her character, Doctor Minerva. In the comics, Doctor Minerva is a geneticist and noted enemy of Mar-Vell (Jude Law), from who Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) receives her incredible powers. The film's story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between the Kree and the Skrulls. Comic readers know Minerva, also known as Minn-Erva, is a member of the former, which points to her having a sizable role in Captain Marvel. Fans still have a ways to wait to see the movie on the big screen, but now they have their first glimpse at Chan (somewhat) in-character. Co-Director Ryan Fleck recently confirmed Captain Marvel production wraps in around two weeks (as of this writing), but Chan has finished a little shy of that date. In celebration of finishing work on the highly-anticipated film, Chan took to her personal Twitter to thank Marvel for "the ride" and offer a behind the scenes glimpse at the character. Check out the image below: Just how close the character will remain to her comic book counterpart remains to be seen. Chan, after all, was last seen in Humans, playing Anita/Mia, conscious synth in service to the Hawkins family, allowing her an opportunity to play both sympathetic and menacing sides to the character. All of which could mean that Doctor Minerva may follow the trend set recently by Killmonger in Black Panther, The Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and even Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, and prove to be a more understandable and even sympathetic villain. She may even turn out not to be a villain at all, with comic book knowledge being used to mislead audiences in a way similar to the controversial twist with The Mandarin in Iron Man 3. The picture reveals nothing as to whether or not Doctor Minerva will don her official costume, with Marvel clearly maintaining their status as the ultimate secret-keepers and Chan wisely keeping it covered. Conspicuously absent is the blue skin for which the Kree are distinctly known for, but it's not worth reading too much into that. It's likely this picture was taken after Chan had filmed her final scene and had her makeup removed, and Marvel is saving a full reveal for later on. It's possible there could be some sort of deviation from the source material, but that's difficult to say until more information comes to light. Whatever the case, the stylish quiff (which regained popularity for a time in the '90s) Chan's sporting is another illustration of the film's aesthetic, following set photos of Larson from earlier this year.
  19. Sebastian Stan revels Bucky would go back in time to "fix all of the things he's done wrong" if he was able to use the Infinity Gauntlet. One of the unfortunate heroes who was snuffed out of existence following Thanos' deadly snap in Avengers: Infinity War, Bucky, at this moment, is currently a pile of dust. But that doesn't mean that he'll stay that way for long. Avengers 4 is expected to rewrite history through time-travel and in the process resurrect most, if not all, of the killed of Avengers' due to the Mad Titan's galactic genocide. Bucky is a unique MCU character in a sense that it's been part of the franchise since Phase 1, but it seems like his journey as a hero is just getting started. Shedding off his villainous persona, The Winter Soldier, and officially assuming the persona of the White Wolf as seen in the post-credit scene of Black Panther. Now that he seems to be in a more stable head space to be a hero, Stan shares what he thinks Bucky would do if he's able to use the power of all six Infinity Stones, and his answer is pretty simple. Attending Ace Comic-Con over the weekend (via ComicBook), Stan was asked what he would've wanted to do if Bucky was given the opportunity to wield the powerful Infinity Gauntlet. "There's only one place he'd go which is back in time, y'know? Yeah, he'd probably go back in time, right, try to fix all of the things he's done wrong for starters. Maybe not get on that train? I don't know," he said. It sounds a waste of opportunity since he really just need the Time Stone to do this, but it only goes to show how attuned Stan is with his MCU character as instead of coming up with a grand plan to use the magical glove, he just really want to fix Bucky's life. Considering Bucky's long history in the MCU, it makes sense why Stan would like to go back to where it all started. That said, it's hard to imagine that he won't be insisting on fighting with Steve considering how tight their bond is. Not only would it be so uncharacteristic of him, it'd also mean that he would've lived as a normal life with a normal life-span. This means that like Peggy Carter, he may have already died or at the brink of dying due to old age. And that would be such a loss especially since Marvel Studios is seemingly building him up to be one of their core heroes come Phase 4. Perhaps a better answer - one that would not diminish the character's rich history that actually makes him one of the most interesting players in the franchise - is to go back on the night that he killed the Howard and Maria Stark while under the influence of HYDRA. While it's probably not the vilest thing he's done as The Winter Soldier, this specific mission had some huge ramifications in the MCU, particularly in Tony Stark and Steve Rogers' relationship as seen in Captain America: Civil War. In fact, if it wasn't for that, perhaps the Avengers are still together and he may have even be welcomed to join them despite his past. There's a slim chance that Bucky would be wielding the Infinity Gauntlet considering the narrative situation that the MCU is in right now. Having said that, he can still be a key player moving forward in the franchise after founding heroes like his buddy Steve Rogers have retired from their Avengers gig.
  20. Brand new fan-created artwork imagines a Peter Parker and Miles Morales team-up in Spider-Man 3 titled Homies. Created by Brian Michael Bendis, Miles first appeared in August 2011's Ultimate Fallout #4 as Peter Parker's successor in the Ultimate Marvel continuity, which is separate from the main Marvel Universe narrative. While the character was initially met with divided response from fans, but he eventually won the hearts of people thanks to Bendis' engaging superhero stories infused with real-life racial and economic issues. Over the weekend, Tom Holland revealed the official title of Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man: Far From Home, making it seem like the MCU trilogy will have a running theme of incorporating "Home" in its title. Not much can be deciphered on the reveal, especially considering the state of Peter Parker after the events of Avengers: Infinity War. But based on reports that have come out from the film's pre-production, it fits perfectly with the concept that the sequel will see the Queens-native around the globe. Looking farther away to Peter's future, digital artist BossLogic has come up with an interesting idea for Spider-Man 3. In line with the ongoing theme, he titled the threequel flick Homies and imagines its poster featuring the current iteration of the web-slinging superhero alongside Miles Morales. Check out the fan-created illustration posted on the creator's official Instagram account below: Considering that Homecoming already established the existence of Miles in the MCU with the introduction of Donald Glover's Aaron Davis, who eventually assumes the identity of villain Prowler in the comic books, this is not outside the realm of possibility. And while it can also be nothing more than a fun Easter Egg chances are that there's more to him than just a glorified cameo. After all, Kevin Feige and his team picked a high-profile celebrity like Glover to play Miles' uncle in the franchise. Other than that, there was also an extra fun nod to the Afro-Latino teenager during the film's end-credit scene with Miles' black and red Spider-Man mask layered behind Peter Parker's. The question, however, is whether the two can co-exist in the same reality or if Marvel Studios follows their print narrative instead - Miles taking over the Spider-Man mantle only after Peter dies. As for fans who can't wait for the propositioned Spider-Man 3 concept to happen, Peter and Miles are set to share the big screen together for the first time later this year (albeit being animated movie) in Sony's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Although fans shouldn't expect any narrative connection with the live-action films starring the iconic Marvel superhero. The movie which is produced by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will also feature a slew of other Spider-Man incarnations like Gwen Stacy's Spider-Gwen.
  21. Tom Hiddleston knew of Loki's demise in Avengers: Infinity War even before filming for Thor: Ragnarok started in July of 2016. Aside from having to effectively portray their respective characters without getting full scripts, the cast of the Marvel juggernaut was also given the difficult task of not inadvertently revealing any kind of spoiler regarding the well-guarded movie. And while there were some slip-ups here and there, they all managed to keep the film's finer details tightly under wraps up until it hit theaters. Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Scarlet Witch, has even recently come out to express how relieved she is that they can finally talk about the movie out in the open. That said, it seems like things were worse for Hiddleston considering that he knew of Loki's death and kept it a secret for two years. It's not Loki's demise came as a total shock. After all, he failed Thanos and never tried to make amends after his disappointing attempt to take over Earth and deliver the Space Stone. But that doesn't make his death any less heartbreaking considering that he seemed to finally patch things up with Thor. Chances are that some fans were still hoping that somehow he'd be spared and given the chance to redeem himself after all the chaos he caused. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Attending Ace Comic-Con over the weekend (via ComicBook), the British actor spoke about learning Loki's fate long before he even shot the scene. But not all that came out of being burdened with knowledge was bad, Hiddleston explained that knowing how Loki's journey will end actually helped his performance in Ragnarok. "So, I’ve known about that scene for two years. I met with Marvel in May 2016, and they were actually telling me the story of Ragnarok with concept art and images. The Russos came in, and I introduced myself. So, all four of us sat down, and they said this is how Infinity War begins. "My whole journey through making Thor: Ragnarok — I knew this was coming. By the end of Thor: Ragnarok, Loki has been accepted as Thor’s brother again. "When I came to shoot the scene in Infinity War, I think it’s very powerful he calls himself an Odinson, and that closes the whole journey of Loki and what he can do. It [Loki's death] set the stakes up emotionally. It takes the stakes up dramatically. You know that Thanos is someone who’s more dangerous than anyone we’ve seen before." Considering that writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely started working on Infinity War's story around 2015 while also filming Captain America: Civil War, it makes sense that Hiddleston would be informed of what lies ahead for Loki come Thanos' official entry to the MCU. The writing duo has been forthcoming about working closely with Ragnarok director Taika Waititi with his plans of a total tonal overhaul for the threequel, and since the God of Thunder played a pivotal part in Avengers 3, they wanted to make sure that his characterization was consistent all throughout. It's also probably the main motivation to give the brothers arguably some of their most genuine interactions in their 7-year MCU history, which in turn, made Loki's death more heartbreaking. Despite his death, fans are still set to see Hiddleston as Loki (possibly for the last time) in next year's Avengers 4. Iron Man is set to revisit the Battle of New York which Loki was a huge part of and set photos hint that the Phase 3 capper will show what immediately happened after his defeat. It's still unclear how this will factor in the Earth's Mightiest Heroes' final bout with Thanos, but considering that it's the Mad Titan's first attempt to take over Earth, it's possible that the heroes will re-examine its events and do things differently to prevent his catastrophic snap six years later.
