  1. Now, as a fan of the Academy Awards, I know that in many cases, the Best Picture winner is usually justified. Whether it be a massive success like Gone with the Wind or Titanic, or a reasonable effort like The Hurt Locker, we can rest assure that the Academy, in their infinite wisdom, would be able to pick the right winner for the year's best film. But then there are years in which we can say, "What in the world, Academy?!" There are times where they end up picking the wrong film, which in hindsight, leads to some of the worst possible decisions you can make. Either the Academy goes for the safe bet, or they are so out with the films that turn out to be the absolute classics in the decades to come, that their efforts are laughable. It's a sign of the times when the least likely film beats an all-time great. So what do you think of who is the worst of the worst? Which is the film that you think shouldn't have won Best Picture in a particular year? I have selected ten films that have not stood the test of time, and by now are either largely forgotten, or otherwise been tainted by events further long. Which one of these is the worst? It's up to you to decide.
  2. That's okay. You win some, you lose some. But nonetheless, a bonus is a bonus is a bonus. I prefer to rely to use patience when dealing with my game purchases, online and off.
  3. Well, it's good that people are still supporting and improving games decades after their release. Such great fan bases are perfect for maintaining their lifespans. Think of it as plastic surgery, but with digital tools.
  4. I agree. Delays can be both act of man, and act of god. As long as the job is done, then if the product is right, it will be worth it.
  5. Yeah, digital violence is harmless. I mean they are just pixels and polygons, and we don't have any attachment to them. Remember, in the original Saints' Row, you can kill a NPC, and then revive them with a defibrillator.
  6. Nice that Hamilton is still on there. Who would have thought that having a stage play musical on a streaming service would provide an easy access to Broadway? Sure it may be pirated, but at least it should help boost Broadway, even in this time of current world events.
  7. Unbelievable. When will people learn that if you make porn to attract pirates, you'll end up in a world of pain. My advice, quit making adult films, and leave the pirates alone. So much for big business as a savior.
  8. Disgusting! The fact that a man would use his law firm's resources to make Porn, just in the name of trapping pirates into a honeypot, well, I'm sorry, but Hansmeier deserves his Jail time. Who's more corrupt, him, or the pirates whom he wants taken down?
  9. When will people learn? When you put your music videos onto Youtube, its a free for all, in cost and access. It's essentially digital data now, able to be accessed on site. And if it can be accessed, then maybe people will purchase their albums if they want more.
  10. And so the Hunter tries to strike again, even if his methods are highly dubious, or against the American way of life. When will people learn that piracy is something that cannot be easily stopped. And once people adapt to its usage, we will live in peace.
  11. Jailbreakers vs Jailbreakers? That seems to be a little over the top. But at least they were able to keep their composure, and find a balance with their projects. This is especially since Apple is trying to maintain a monopoly on their technology. Kudos to the little guys!
  12. That seems to be a good use of open technology. Adapt it for use in the measurement of seismic activity. Who would have thought that a smart device's accelerometers would act as a earthquake detector. A few apps, and they can convert the raw data into a measurement of the Richter Scale.
  13. So basically, having access to better quality materials does act as a taster of the real thing. Much like those free samples given for ice cream. If it entices people to see the films on the big screen, or helps spread word of mouth, why else would they have a successful run?
  14. What do you expect? Russia can be a little shady with their business practices. That's why they are often shown as a hotbed of bootlegging and otherwise-illegal activities, like the torrenting scene along there.
  15. LimeWire? I really don't think so. I've heard that the use of LimeWire in the past could result in some nasty viruses on your PC. Or was that a similarly named webpage? I'm not too sure. At least uTorrent has proven to be vastly superior in file sharing.
  16. Toys For Bob, huh? Didn't they also do Star Control II (The Ur-Quan Masters)? That was an interesting game. Someone ought to make a new game or a reboot of the Star Control Franchise. If Toys For Bob have the rights to the game and its mechanics, it could very well be remade for the new generation. Imagine what visuals we could see in a next gen Star Control.
  17. Well good. A more robust multiplayer experience is what Tetris needs. I mean, when it first came out for the Game Boy, it had multiplayer of sorts via the link cable. A little primitive compared to Tetris Effect: Connected's systems, but it served the purpose it needed to.
  18. Now that is just wrong. A fake trying to pass off the rights of another studio's game? Where the common sense in that? These games are not abandonware, nor are they currently in the public domain. An entire studio has more clout than a single human being, and they have the power and advantage in that.
  19. Three-and-a-half hours?! Wow, this film is going to be epic. Now I know that Justice League was grand, even in its inferior release, but oh boy, we're going to be vindicated with the amount of material we're going to be getting. It's good that we're getting this, just as we got the Richard Donner Cut of Superman II. It was all just an inevitability.
  20. I see all the original Star Trek movies are ending up here. Yet Star Trek IV is surprisingly absent. For what reason? It's considered to be one of the best of the franchise, with its time-travel plot, and emphasis on the environment. All the while wrapping up a three-film story arc in a neat little package. (Star Trek V did continue the story a bit longer, but nearly all the loose ends were tied up in the fourth film)
  21. Rain Man leaving Hulu? I just learned that it's ending up on Amazon Prime. Doesn't it seem coincidental that these two fact dovetail into each other. And the fact that Molly, a gender reversed version of Charly (Flowers for Algernon) also featured an Autistic person, is being taken off. What is with all these films about Autism being switched around?
  22. Good for Quibi! I knew that Katzenberg could find some way of combining his experience with Paramount, Disney and Dreamworks, with newer mediums of technology. At least he thinks forward, rather than backward, upward rather than forward. (That's a Simpsons reference. Twirling, twirling, twirling.)
  23. At least I'm glad that Rain Man is coming. Any show or movie with an emphasis on Autism is a worthwhile watch. Not to mention that Dustin Hoffman deserved his Best Actor Oscar for his performance in the film. He got the nervous tics and Autistic traits done proper.
  24. I believe that as long as the COVID-19 precautions are done, it will be worth the delay. I mean, it's a reunion of one of the all time greats of situational comedy. And the stars are TV Royalty. So it's best to prepare and delay, in case of any unforeseen incidents. It's not going anywhere yet.
  25. I noticed that Idiocracy is among the list. A criminally underrated movie. Basically one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. And also, Ethan's name's highlighted for the Before films. I know that typing the name could cause a link to appear, but then again, computers don't seem to know the difference.
