  1. Wait a minute. This sounds remarkably like the plot of a Simpsons Halloween Story, where a witch transforms the citizens of Springfield into their costumes. I think this has something to do with what happened when Disney took over Fox. I mean, if they plagiarize themselves, there's no legal ramifications.
  2. This seems to be a wise choice. Getting two of the best scribes behind two of the best tales of the mob to be realized on screen, large or small, to do a definitive history of the mob, well, that's a match made in heaven.
  3. Um, why remove an icon of a man, which serves as a monument of sorts, and place it in a museum? I mean, sure it will be better preserved, but in doing that, it would be like moving the Washington Monument, and placing it into the Smithsonian Museum, if that were even possible.
  4. It doesn't matter if a console is less powerful than its rivals. It's the name brand recognition that's important. I mean, the Playstation 2 was less powerful than the original Xbox, yet it became one of the most successful consoles of all time. And why? Because the name brand was already popular.
  5. Hero Quest and Space Crusade are great games in both physical and virtual versions. One is a beginners RPG. The other is a squad-based tactics game. And they also have ties to Games Workshop properties like Warhammer and Warhammer 40K.
  6. Well I think that paying $20 a year for online capabilities, and a cornucopia of free retro games is a worth while investment. Another way of Nintendo enticing the fan base with good gameplay, and nostalgic memories. A brilliant move.
  7. I'll be glad if and when the HD version of the original Mass Effect Trilogy is released. Given I'm a big fan of the games, it would be great to see it with a fresh coat of paint. As long as it's not like Andromeda, it will be worth it. Hopefully EA have learned from their mistakes.
  8. You know, you can easily do Slow Motion gunplay in GTA V. All you need to do is to look up a cheat that slows down time when shooting. I've used it many times with my PS3 Copy of GTA V, so it works well.
  9. Hmmm. A World War II themed collectable card game? Sounds like a good combination of history and entertainment. Such is the way of Indie Game Developers, with their original combinations of totally different and opposite subject matters and play styles.
  10. Why would you want a better Switch Console? Nintendo has seen through Microsoft and Sony's system of forcing customers to double dip to get better performance out of their systems. So after releasing a handheld-only version of the Switch, I believe Nintendo are playing their cards right, by focusing on the core system.
  11. Now this is interesting. An RTS where you don't fight against another army, but a biological threat to mankind. May it enlighten as well as entertain, for it will make the perfect means of education for many a gamer and inexperienced person alike.
  12. Well it's obvious that the PS5 would not be able to play PS3 games natively. The PS3 console was a beast to work with, especially with its Cell processor being downright impossible to emulate. PS4 to PS5 backwards compatibility on the other hand, that would work given the similarities between the two systems' specs.
  13. I've seen the Xbox Series X boot screen, and it feels quite soothing, compared to the playful nature of the Playstation 5's variant. Talk about a difference between the American and Japanese perspectives of hardware and software design.
  14. I think the message here is, Xbox Series X games being played on Xbox One. It may work one way, but the other, given they are two separate generations, it's obvious that people can get confused. Just remember, the newer systems are better at backwards compatibility than the other way around. That's why they call it backwards compatibility.
  15. Delays, delays. It seems that this Coronavirus outbreak is curtailing any event in its path. But as long as they are held eventually when the worst has passed, then that would be a time to celebrate.
  16. If you're interested in playing old retro games, I'd advise toward getting a Nvidia Shield TV. It can run emulators at the drop of a hat. And it has a similar processor to the Nintendo Switch. Plus you can watch Netflix and Youtube on it, given its an Android Device. And it's inexpensive.
  17. Well good! What better way to celebrate America's return to indigenous manned spaceflight than to reenact it digitally, using the best spaceflight sim there is. As a fan of Kerbal Space Program, I think this is a grand gesture, using the tools at your disposal to recreate history.
  18. At least I discovered the deal on time. And I was able to obtain it easily. This is especially good, since I got all the bells and whistles with it, for the price of $0. It's not every day you end up with a great game like this.
  19. I agree! I get a lot of good games from this seller. And given these are top tier games like GTA: V and Civilization VI, at least I exploit that opportunity to get them easily.
  20. Didn't the BBC try to do Doctor Who before as a video game? I mean, I remember they utilized a Wii and DS combination to take this age-old property, and turn it into a multi-platform game, complete with a WiiMote designed after the Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver. And look what happened then. The games were panned for being clunky. When will people learn?
  21. Well, at least I'm glad that board games have been a part of our culture for millennia. It seems it's part of our cultural DNA. So when you are playing Monopoly, or Mouse Trap, remember that their common ancestors were bone dice, and ceramic discs.
  22. Good grief! Now we are having AI create games, just through analysis of videos of a game, and then using its own understanding, have make an exact duplicate. Looks like the game programmers are going to lose their jobs. Or the tools for making games are going to get easier and better.
  23. Given the costs of purchasing games, roughly 10 titles per hard drive seems to be a good way to begin. Who knows, there could be larger drive sizes in the future. And given this has happened in generations prior, I wouldn't be surprised.
  24. Well, duh. The Stadia is a textbook example of extreme hubris from a company that means well. But unfortunately, they proceeded to add catches to their promises. And look at them now. They managed to botch up their takeoff, and in the process, alienate their attempted fan base. Maybe in time they'll succeed, but not if they keep up stumbling their landings.
  25. It's good that people are taking old code, and giving it a new coat of paint. They basically ensure that a good game is made even better, by providing modifications from their own knowledge of said code. Continue on!
