I mostly download flac and sometimes MP3.

It all depends on the type of music. Jazz or Dub reggae I'll download in FLAC.

Old soul or old reggae stuff I'll grab in mp3 in high bitrate, usually 320.

i only download mp3 but flac is better quality although you would not see the difference compared to videos.

Mostly FLAC for home use, then convert it mp3 320 for mobile devices and my car.

Lossless > Lossy

FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec if anyone is unsure. 

MP3 is more common as this takes up much less storage space, however, MP3 sacrifices sound quality to fit this...

FLAC all the way for me.  (Prefer 24 bit FLAC if possible)  I figure having the music lossless gives me the option then to convert to a lossy format.

I like flac which i prefer .

But sometimes flac not available ,, then download mp3
